Eastwood Takeaway in Southend-on-Sea

Altho lovely 5* food, very expensive now, house special was £17 went up to £24, then £26 now £29, and the usually lovely red cabbage is now pickled red cabbage?

Very lovely kebabs we ordered last Friday. You get what you pay for. Excellent all round food, just could have done without the chilli sauce on the kebab as made the bed soggy.

Ordered 3 burgers , kebabs and wraps everything was good with nothing missing 👍

Been in store and ordered a few times online these guys are so friendly and adhering to customer notes and request, good is always outstanding and never had a bad meal from them

My go to kebab place. Welcoming staff and super fast service on pick up. Always a good sign where they have delivery drivers flying in and out at a speedy rate. Food is fresh and tasty.

Wasn’t great which is unusual as normally the food and service is good. I ordered and the it came in the time it stated but the order was wrong. My daughter wanted kebab meat and chips with cucumber and burger sauce and we got all the salad and with chilli sauce so she couldn’t eat. We phoned up and they sent another one out but we only got kebab meat this time. They probably thought we still had the chips but we couldnt eat as the chilli sauce was still in it plus who would wait for the re order. Not happy but didn’t call again as it wasn’t worth it, but certainly wouldn’t order from their again. Chips were cold anyway, which you do expect when getting a delivery.

Very disappointed.....pizza black/burnt on edges.....i maybe messed up on order and asked if they would deliver 1 item to me, which they refused .....loyal customers, who order most weeks.....will never order again 😡😡😡

I am extremely disappointed with my food, I specifically said NO PEPPERS OR ONION, i take a bite of my wrap and what do i find??? It’s full of peppers and onion. This is awful, thankfully i dont have allergies but i have been put off my food. I have always had good things to say about this place but not anymore!!!

So the pizza is nice but sometimes when I order thin crust I get thick

Very friendly staff who make you feel appreciated for coming to the shop. They are very good at making the food quickly but cooking with top standards. I drive a 15 min journey and pass alot of kebab shops to have there food

I can not fail the food from Eastwood takeaway, however all what ruins it is customer service. First you completely ignore notes on the comments when ordering online! I say don't ring the bell and what you do? You ring the bell and wake our 6 months old baby😭I have ordered numerous times from here and when once I complained about order being wrong, person on the other side of the phone was extremely rude, that it can not be their fault. Well I ordered it online..black and white it said they were wrong..no complimentary side to say sorry, nothing, just been strongly advised not to touch the other food untill they arrive... Purely because of this you are loosing 2 stars because this is how you keep your customers, - with excellent service.

Ordered a large lamb shish with no salad, came and it was full off salad. Was very greasy also. They people in the shop are very rude and not very good customer service. Be careful when ordering order normally come wrong, cold or bits missing

I love this place, i used to come here every day after school just to talk with friends and eat with them. It’s such a nice spot and the staff are great, they joke around and talk to you. The service is fast, the food is great and the place has a great energy. One thing is that delivery is fairly slow but food is still hot and great when it gets to you Five stars all the way

I was supposed to have chilli sauce and Garlic sauce but no sauce

Ordered large shish which comes with rice, potatoes and chicken burger. On ordering I made sure kebab came with rice. On delivery no rice! Phoned back and listened to someone getting moaned at for missing the rice off order. Was told it’ll be sent out. Never received it !!! Didn’t bother phoning back as food had been all eaten. This is not the first time this has happened, this place use to be good few years back. But now feel it has gone downhill. Won’t use ever again

I just payed 15 pound for a mixed shish it turned up as a box of donna meat. I called to complain and was pretty much told to do one. They refused to make amends and also refused me a refund. Terrible service

Just needed to write a review for once again one of the best kebab in Essex This place always delivers hot tasty food... The doner meat is so juicy and the side salad is fresh..... the home made chilli sauce is on point too... a friendly service who always deliver on time can’t go wrong with these guys... yum yum

I would highly recommend the food here! Kebabs are amazing, always freshly prepared and so yummy. Everyone is always happy to help and the place is always spotless. So glad we found them, been eating here since we moved round the corner a few years ago and will definitely continue to recommend them to our friends!

I have stopped here many times on the way home late at night and it always hits the spot. Prices are very reasonable and you can even get real bacon with your burger or on your pizza unlike many similar takeaways!

Reasonable prices, fast service, good food for a lazy night. They did get my order of 1/4 pounder wrong, and instead served a 1/2 pounder, but I didn't mind as it was only a little bit more expensive.

Great takeaway. Can't fault the food here, great burgers and kebabs. Reasonably priced, clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Rarely go elsewhere for this type of food.

Very bad food . Pizza was awful and fell apart . Also I said not to put olives on any of the pizzas . When they arrived they were covered in olives .rang shop a few times and no answer . First time ordering here won't be returning

Yet again.i didnt get what i ordered. Please people dnt get it delivered.you wont get what you ordered and youll get charged extra for crap you nevered ordered. Unbelievable. Im never going there again

Been placing large orders happily for years but recently they have substituted food without asking got orders wrong and over charged numerous times I phoned to complain got promises of money back and discounts that they did not honour. Wont be using them again. The food is good when they get it right.
