Eastwood Takeaway in Southend-on-Sea

I ordered a supposedly lamb shish kebab, in which I wouldn't give my dog. All I got was all gristle and no meat. The worst kebab I've ever had and now very expensive. Gone up from £8.50 to £10.50. That's trdiculous.

First time of having Eastwood takeaway I must say that it was awesome friendly staff Donna meat was spot on nice and moist Will definitely be ordering from there and 😋

In the words of the inimitable Chasey Lain, that’s a LOT of meat! The portion size of the XL kebabs is huge, so make sure you’re hungry. All food arrived hot, ingredients were of good quality and their garlic sauce is excellent. Would certainly order from here again and would happily recommend

Wouldn't order again - the food came sorry and like it had been thrown around in a box. Used to be really large portions but had gone down hill sadly. Won't order from them again I'm afraid.

Lovely food. Exactly what we needed. I order medium lamb diner for my one person: the amount of meat supplied was phenomenal! Chips…you just can’t beat kebab shop chips! Skinny and crispy and gorgeous. Loads too! Can’t wait to order again next week!

Ordered from here for the first time. I ordered a chicken shish wrap with a drink, and peri chips. The food came really quick, was nice and hot, loads of chips, peri salt was nice. The chicken shish wrap was really thin, just chicken, no sauce or salad. I called and explained the situation, they said Just eat has not put the option in for selecting salad, if you want salad you need to put it in the comments, luckily they sent me another one with salad, it was lovely.

Worst service I've ever had, with just about serviceable food. Delivery time was set for 9.50pm (ordered at 9pm on a Tuesday). Asked to be left doorsteps round side of house and knock on door loudly. App said food was "on way" at 9.30pm, but 10.15pm no knocking and checked doorstep multiple times and out front, nothing. Called restaurant, they claimed it was delivered, said it was my fault for asking to leave on doorstep, said they believed their driver and would graciously do food again. Awful!

Great delivery drivers, good food and service. Quickly became my local go to kebab, recommend.

Pros: - delivered earlier than expected - lamb doner was nice, not as salty as other places and could taste different herbs and spices in it - chicken was also good. Cons - ordered 1 garlic sauce and 1 chilli but got 2 garlic, and was really looking forward to the chilli sauce but didn’t see the point in calling just for them to bring that - the meat was unfortunately not hot when it got here even though it was delivered early. Overall it was ok.

Placed a large order for 9 people and the food was delivered on time, was hot and tasted delicious. 5 stars from us!

Put in a timed order for 20:00. It arrived an hour early and driver showed me the receipt which had the correct time it was supposed to be delivered on it. May not sound like a big deal but we put in a timed delivery to ensure we could relax and enjoy it once we put our baby and toddler to bed. Instead we had a cold disappointing pizza each

So disappointed have had food from here before normally all ok but tonight the food had so much chilli sauce thrown over it it was not edible and when we called their customer service takes a lot to be desired all they want is your money

First time ordering from here. we ordered pizza's all nicely cooked and not greasy at all. chips were crispy and the kebab was full of flavour. Food arrived piping hot. 100% will use again ☺️☺️

Best takeaway ever ı had in my life

Awful. Will not be buying from here again, shame because the reviews are really good. Chicken burger is literally just chicken in a bun, no lettuce or Mayo which is standard. Chicken was extremely greasy, had to throw it. Chips were soggy, cheese on top tasted like powder, again threw away. My partner ate half the Halloumi wrap but had to throw the rest.

haven't used this takeaway for a while, although the prices had gone up we enjoyed our kebabs and it was delivered quickly.

Altho lovely 5* food, very expensive now, house special was £17 went up to £24, then £26 now £29, and the usually lovely red cabbage is now pickled red cabbage?

Very lovely kebabs we ordered last Friday. You get what you pay for. Excellent all round food, just could have done without the chilli sauce on the kebab as made the bed soggy.

Have ordered a few times from here and I have to say the food has been fresh hot and really delicious and.on time very friendly got to be 5* for sure 1 of the best local takeaway around 😋

Ordered lamb shish kebab, said it came with peppers and onions. Turnt up with 4 pieces of lamb, no onions or peppers, and paid £4 for rice that was clearly reheated rice half cold and hot where not heated properly.

Shockingly bad! Ordered and popped in to buy from this place before. Always been good, but this time was atrociously bad. We ordered this time 2 quarter pounder burgers a6 for a quarter pounder burger with cheese, but missing all the filling you usually get which made it a complete rip off in terms of the price. Cheese only just made it into one of the burgers. Practically all spilled and melted out of the side so could not be replaced. Other burger was practically black either side of the bun.

The food was excellent. Just enough salad for what I ordered and was packed separately to the main item as ordered. Garlic sauce was fantastic and the chips were heavenly.

Good and bad. I persuaded my wife to try Eastwood takeaway because it had good reviews. My wife has lost her appetite for most foods due to a digestive condition. She doesn’t like most common foods. I suggested tryinMy Chicken and lamb kebab was absolutely delicious but my wife’s pizza was a big disappointment. She wanted tuna,prawns and anchovies. About 10 minutes after placing my orderI got a phone call asking what else I would like as an alternative to anchovies because they didn’t have any.

Chicken and lamb smelt and tasted off, rice was uncle bens vegetable but still managed to make it sloppy and wet . To sum it up the best bit was the salad

First off food arrived within time slot, however driver took forever to get from restaurant to my home so the food arrived on the cold end of lukewarm, although with a warm greeting… this man’s smile wasn’t enough to stop it from going in the oven. The kebab itself was tasty although not the highest quality… but only when it was finally heated, and one was missing salad and the other with a pitiful amount… worst of all missing the integral kebab component… the chilli peppers which we’d requested kindly more of. Would not order from here again as I don’t like cooking on takeaway night!

We ordered 2 different shish neither arrived with onions or peppers. Chicken was dry. Kids sausage and chips had an almost burnt sausage. Use this Kebab often but this was disappointing.
