Em's Kitchen in Edinburgh, City of

Met up for a family brunch. Tried Ems as we were passing and we really enjoyed the experience. Food was great, staff were friendly and efficient, venue felt comfortable and welcoming. Overall really positive experience. Ems may well become one of our Edinburgh go to cafes when we are this side of town.

Vinimos aquí para el desayuno, que era muy sabroso! Teníamos tostadas francesas que era tan suave! El plátano y Nutella, más el tocino y el jarabe. El zumo de manzana también era súper refrescante. Bastante caro, pero tenía una buena selección de comida y el personal era amable

Desayunamos aquí con mi pareja. -Estaba bien. La comida no era de alta calidad, pero no estaba mal. Bastante caro en comparación con lugares similares. Probablemente no volvería si estoy siendo honesto.

Nos alojamos en el Travelodge justo al otro lado de la carretera desde aquí, y lo notamos ya que es difícil perderse ser brillante y rosa! Parecía muy acogedor. Revisamos su instagram y pensamos en venir para el desayuno. Esperamos en una pequeña cola afuera durante unos 5 / 10 minutos antes de sentarnos. Una vez que estuvimos en, el servicio fue rápido - las bebidas llegaron relativamente rápido y la comida siguió no mucho después. La comida era muy agradable - el café era tibio cuando llegó, que no era ideal, ya que para cuando llegó la comida, estaba frío. Myself & Wife tenía las tortitas con tocino y jarabe de arce. Es bastante caro por ser tortitas, pero era una comida encantadora. El personal era amable.

Muy caro y realmente no muy agradable El aguacate sobre tostadas llegó con aguacate marrón. ¡Pidió tenerlo sin los huevos y todavía le cobraron 14 libras! Los baños estaban sucios No recomendaría

Realmente decepcionante. La comida es pequeña y no fresca, por ejemplo los huevos escalfados claramente ya estaban hechos y sabían raro. Los precios son muy altos. El servicio definitivamente no es con una sonrisa. Ojalá no nos hubiéramos molestado.

Los huevos florentina fue algo decepcionante para el alto precio. Dos huevos estaban ambos con yemas sólidas y la masa madre debajo era más un fragmento tostado que una rodaja real. Después tuve hambre.

Qué regalo es este pequeño café. No queriendo soportar la larga cola para un desayuno mediocre en el travelodge, vi Em's al otro lado de la carretera. Había escalfado huevos en aguacate con masa madre. Los huevos estaban perfectamente cocinados y era un súper desayuno con un gran café. Mi amiga tomó el desayuno vegetal con una salchicha de carne - dijo que la combinación del humor y el aguacate era increíble. El mejor humor que ha tenido. Em es un pequeño tesoro.

Habíamos aterrizado en la ciudad fuera del vuelo de la mañana temprano y sabíamos que teníamos un día ocupado de espectáculos en el Fringe por delante de nosotros. Em's Kitchen era el trabajo para dos desayunos escoceses para prepararnos. El servicio era amable y rápido, y sin duda tuvimos nuestro lleno. Recomendado!

Very yummy breakfast, we stayed in the Travelodge opposite Em’s cafe. Lovely staff and great food, would recommend a visit!

I came here for brunch. I had french toast with Nutella and banana. It was very nice, but it did not feel me up as much as I wished; perhaps I should have ordered more to accompany it.

Coffee was good. I was able to get a decent gluten free meal and my wife said her food was good but not great. The food was not good enough to get 5 stars but I would eat there again.

After seeing my son off on the marathon, we knew we had at least 3 hours to kill so we headed off for breakfast. Our favourite cafe in the area was queued out the door and up the street as usual so EM’s Kitchen it was. I had tried this place before in 2018 and enjoyed but thought it was time to try again. I wasn’t disappointed. The place was definitely different to what I remembered as I sat in tables at the front of the shop which were no longer there. We were sat through the back next to a set of external doors and served quickly. All food was really well cooked and of good quality. I had the Scottish Breakfast which was very nice. I would certainly eat here again.

Found this gem of a restaurant that had a terrific breakfast! The service and food were both very good. Only thing that was disappointing was that did not serve alcohol at that time in the morning even though they had mimosas on the menu.

Came for breakfast and all enjoyed our meals. The avocado toast was outstanding and my son highly enjoyed the traditional Scottish breakfast.

Overpriced coffee (£3.80 for a latte and it wasn't even good! as expensive as in the airport) and the place doesn't have internet connection for customers! Not recommended at all
