Empire Kebab House in Croydon

Hands down the best, the food, the staff and service and value are all amazing. From the excellent meal packages to the perfect charring they get on the chicken shish and the crisp & plentiful salad. Nothing like it around and used these guys for years with consistently excellent food.

This has been our local kebab shop since we moved to the area 4 years ago and we regularly order. The chicken shish is always delicious and perfectly cooked. When I treat myself to a lamb donner, it’s equally tasty! It’s always delivered swiftly and with a smile and the guys are so friendly, they always wave at me when I walk past the shop. Great kebabs, very happy!

Had a kebab from here for the first time and chips go it all cold I asked for a chicken shish and a combination chicken doner and chicken shish.only got two bits in the combination looks like thay took two bits out out the chicken shish.really will not be ordering again discussed.may take it on got pics

Honestly such a great kebab shop. Friday night is my takeaway night and believe me i will always opt for Empire! I get a chicken shish, which is absolutely delicious. Chicken is succulent and has so much flavour. There has not been one occasion where I haven’t enjoyed it. No other kebab shop can compare!

Just the best! I always order the chicken shish. It is so delicious that my friend comes from Downham just to buy it. Every part of it is fresh and the chicken pieces are nice and juicy. I used to eat it with garlic sauce, yum but it is also lovely without it. My son loves the lamb shish and my partner gets a veggie burger while my younger son gets the quarter pounder with cheese. The staff are great too. It would be nice for them to do loyalty discount cards for regular customers. 😋🤞🏽

Very small portions for the money being charged. Had a chicken wrap and main taste was the salad as there wasn't much chicken in there. I asked for a large chicken wrap, staff didn't say they only do one size (small). Won't be coming back im afraid

Excellent food at affordable prices. Chef Ozzie, really takes the time to understand how you like your food and prepare consistently to a very high standard. I highly recommend the Chicken Shish Kebab in skewers. Also the donner kebab is very tasty.

We LOVE these guys. I dont know why I havent left.one sooner. Kebab is always so good had one that wasn't once and they were so friendly said sorry and next time didn't charge. The chicken doner can not be beaten in my opinion the salad is.so fresh and you get lots and the chips are always done so well. Friendly on the phone and always on delivery. We tried one closer to.us today and really regretted it. It was nothing on empire despite having great reviews. We will always order from these guys moving forward now! By far the worse kebab I have had in a long time. The meat in my kebab with burnt and dry The wrap my son had was half the size of the gorgeous wraps at Shirley Best Kebab. He had hardly any Salad or chilly sauce. Which frankly I think was rubbish anyway. NEVER AGAIN. IF my youngest hadn’t ask to go there I would have stuck with SHIRLEY BEST KEBAB. They do what it says on the sign board

The food is dry, it was cold, looked as if there was spit in our food and was icy. The customer service is apporling, the owner of the shop spoke to me and my fiancee in a disgusting mannor, was swearing and also threatened me.

Always freshly prepared and very friendly staff. Good always of a high standard and the boxes usually crammed full. I travel several miles and pass other kebab shops to get there. Try it.

Bland rubber lamb meat thats more then likely been sitting out for God knows how long! Large chips for orderd small box receive Salad doesn't even taste fresh. Cant say I'm disappointed this is clearly a joke 20 wonga down the drain and now I'm off to Macdonald's as a result. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Was not happy with the way the food was cooked as it cost £30 for two people Tbone £19 and mixed kebab £11 online when l check it said Tbone £14 and mixed kebab £8.50 if l would have order from home the price were wrong rang to complain about food the person that gave he's name as jack was rude and wanted us to bring back the uncooked steak so he could cook it as we had asked them to do in the first place what a JOKE my bin is happy 😔😠

Just got charged £1.20 for two small tubs of sauce on my chips, after he poured it and didn't tell me the price. I assumed it was free but felt pressured into accepting after the guy just shrugged his shoulders 'they tell me to charge this'. I used to go here for years, never charged before, won't be returning.
