Empire Grill | Shoreham in Adur

I would recommend the Empire Grill to anyone. The food is always delivered hot and the staff are really friendly. Their home made chicken fillet burger is the best I've had. I order from them fairly often and I have never had a problem with them.

Another disappointment. Thought I would give them another try, as they used to be great. But again it was crap, salad consisted of onion and two bits of cucumber. Kebab was OK at best, delivery took forever.

ordered last night food was cold and all four of us ended up violently unwell with stomach pains & diarrhoea. almost certain we’ve experienced food poisoning. would not order here again.

My partner ordered a mixed donner kebab Saturday night .. enjoyed it turned up hot good service and ate the whole lot....well come early Sunday morning my partner is vomiting badly then the diarrhea started and vomiting continues well into late last nite very unwell .. we waited till this morning to make sure it wasn't a tummy bug ( I will not order from there .. I had dominoes) but I'm fine so obviously it has to be from empire grill... my partner went down there earlier to speak too them but they were closed

Food was stone cold and the lamb doner was very salty and flavourless

You sent the wrong kebab. We asked for 2 chicken donners and 1 lamb donner. You sent 3 chickens so one dinner went without. It was also very late and oily. Very disappointed as we always order from you.

Have received only part of the order, cold, and cannot contact them as their phone number is disconnected, next time I will have to find another way of spending the £60 I wasted on this.

Tasty and hot, bit tight on the salad

Order arrived with a missing item. Rang to say it was missing and was told it would be delivered. Later that night after 11pm banging on the door from the second delivery driver shouting aggressively I hadn’t paid , swearing and name calling. After speaking to the manager to complain they realised it was their error and the takeaway was paid for to the first delivery driver. Scared my kids and upsetting for neighbours having to listen to the foul mouthed aggressive driver. Do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs. I’m absolutely fuming.

Made mistake with asking for delivery instead of collection, called and lady on phone was really helpful and sorted for us, food was ready for collection in 20 mins, all hot and great quality! Thank you

Tonight I had the Lamb shish Donna combination and it was delicious. I've had quite a few kebabs and always delivered early and not. the kebabs are of high quality.

Food was okay but kebab meat Tastes off really starting to wonder if it's really lamb at all so I skipped that had a burger bottom was burnt and the top was so soggy it fell apart bareing in mind I only had lettuce and a little ketchup on the burger it's self For the price u can't complain it's not horrible the salad box was very nice tbf as was the chips I received when ordering just personally wouldn't touch the kebab meat in all honesty with u all

Food was good but I'm not sure the chefs are reading the requests properly. I ordered a lamb shish kebab with extra chilli's and extra chilli sauce. Didn't get any chilli's and not much sauce either. Lamb was good as was the salad so shame about the extras. Will order again and hope tonight was an unfortunate one off. Friendly lady delivered.

The food was terrible. The amount of grease that came off it was ridiculous. Most of the chicken wrap went in the bin. However the burgers were ok.

The most overcooked meat I've ever eaten, underseasoned,the hot chilli sauce was like eating chopped tomatoes, the rice was undercooked and my stomach hurt before I'd even finished ¼ of the food. Will not be ordering from here ever, how it was rated more than 2 stars beforehand begets me as it was genuinely one of the worst takeaways I've ever had.

Used to love their food. However, quality of food has gone downhill in last few months. Food appears to be often cold on arrival and no consistency in the salad options

First time ordering and won’t be again. Wither it hadn’t been packaged properly or it had been leaning to one side in the car as the sauce and grease had pored out in the bag so didn’t really have any on the kebab. Also the meat didn’t taste great, didn’t have much flavour but also had a weird taste.

Food was some of the poorest quality I’ve had. Chips felt like they were cooked a week ago and the chicken burger was barely edible. Pizza was alright

Pizzas are really lovely. Generous toppings, not greasy or heavy. Good price too compared to bigger brands. This is our 2nd pizza order from them too and we will order again in the future.

First order from here as our other delivery kebab places have been letting us down. They are further away but food arrived earlier and HOT. Portion sizes are good and very yummy. The price is good too. Looking forward to next Friday.

Never have I had such bad food.Ordered a pizza ,hardly any cheese and No Bbq sauce which I asked for,very lean on all toppings as well.Also Garlic pizza bread with cheese ,totally burnt. Make sure you never deliver that again to me.Ive been getting food from you for years...Today was not good at all

Seems to have gone downhill. Not happy anymore, used to like it here, but now no discount offered and food portions seem to have got smaller.

I had the Lamb Doner and Lamb shish combo with garlic mayo and a hot chilli sauce pot. All the salad. It was amazing. The lamb was very flavoursome and was not too salty like other kebabs. Probably the best kebab in shoreham. 10/10

New Customer: Unfortunately I can not rate this restaurant high because when it finally arrived the food was absolutely stone cold and where it had gone cold it was so greasy and not very nice at all. Due to the time I placed the order by the time it came unfortunately the store was closed and no one answered. If I was too far to deliver then maybe don’t come to the area. I really hope they get better and become a great place to eat, but only time will tell. So for now, it’s a no from me.

We have been using Empire Grill for the last three years, the first two years the food has been excellent with very generous portions, unfortunately in the last 12 months things have gone downhill….. Let’s say I’ve ordered food there 10 times in the last 12 months, 90% of the time food has turned up with no sauce or no pitta bread, or the complete wrong order. Tonight I ordered a mixed wrap and specifically asked for no tomatoes as I am allergic, guess what, my wrap had tomatoes in it, and my friends kebab turned up with no pitta bread, basically everything went into the bin. Come on Empire Grill you used to be so much better than this! What has happened to you guys??? Update 16/06/2023 We thought we would give Empire Grill one last chance, again as usual, they completely messed up the order, so we gave them a call to ask what was going on. We spoke to 3 members of staff, All of them were incredibly rude telling us that it’s Friday and we are busy so mistakes will happen, how dare they speak to paying customers this way! Who on earth did I think they are? Without paying customers, they would not have a business, and without listening to the that the customers make they would not have a business! That’s it for us we are never ordering from there again, the food is too quickly, cooked and wholly underwhelming! Good bye empire grill there are so many other kebab and burger shops in town why should anyone use them?

The food was cold, the steak was overcooked the chips were soggy from the steak juice and a death by chocolate cake was dry, and not worth the money

Ordered a meal for our family left notes for the restaurant to not put olives on the pizza order arrived with olives on the pizza and also 2 of my kids complete meals never turned up with order so we had to eat ours while it was warm and then had to wait for the missing meals to arrive by which time the kids was not hungry won't order there again

We ju⅞st didn't really like the food! Cheesy chips were microwaved to melt the cheese so it made the chips hard and chewy! The best bit was the garlic mushrooms although they forgot the dip!

I have ordered from this place a few times and has always been my best kebab place up until now. Sadly the last two orders of my food was cold and the kebab meat was gristly, tiny portions of salad They also forgot the dips I ordered and PAID for as well. This place has really gone down hill in the last couple of months.

OMG lucky i gave it one star as could not give it less staff unprofessional food ì would not feed to my dog this place has gone down hill big time there are far better places out there mite have to travel a bit but is better then wasting my money at empire grill

As always with Empire Grill - great service and good portions. Once in a while I like a kebab and if I have one I want to be greedy. I only go to Empire Grill as they are the only place in Shoreham that actually has large portions.

What happened? This used to be good kebab shop. Price ok quality gone down not happy.

The only fault I can record with this takeaway is that they got the order totally wrong. A chicken doner kebab with salad and no sauce was ordered, as was a lamb doner kebab with no salad and sauce was ordered. What was delivered was two lamb kebabs, both with salad, neither with sauce!!!! Pretty poor on the standard of order.

In most restaurants prices are going up and portions are getting smaller. Empire Grill is the only place in the Shoreham area that still gives you a large serving when you order one and is cheaper than most. Never been disappointed with them, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Ive always liked Empire Grill as its the only place locally that seems to have a difference between a large sized kebab and small. Other places just seem to have the same size no matter what you order. Always pleased with what I get.

We always order from empire grill and never have a problem. Tonight was the first time we had an item missing, when I called the restaurant they were very good and the missing item was sent out asap. I would happily keep as our regular.
