Beach Green Hotel in Adur

Great friendly staff, nice fresh beer, ok location you can see the white cliffs of Dover (inside joke). Locals are a little weird, was here on a business stay over and they were very friendly welcoming even the girl who believed in Euthanasia and her love of Joe Biden!. They allow dogs and a great place to spend an evening away from the North!

Was looking for somewhere to get away to for a few days so discovered the lovely village of Lancing. I decided to stay in this hotel for a few nights with this being the only hotel available if you want to stay in Lancing itself, as opposed to a guest house or some Airbnb places. I preferred it here anyway than one of the chain hotels in the nearby Worthing. I phoned up to make my booking ahead of the trip which was easy to do with a friendly person at the other end of the phone. When I got there I was again greeted by friendly staff and also throughout my stay too which was pleasant. I was given a room at the very top of the hotel which gave a really nice view of the beach. The location of the hotel is ideal if you want to be near the coast and the beach itself. It is however on the corner of a main A-road so there are quite a few lorries and other regular traffic at various hours but it wasn't too bad. If I'm honest the room was adequate for what it was and the price I paid which was reasonable. It had all the facilities you'd want from the average hotel room along with a decent ensuite toilet/sink/shower. The bed was comfy, there was plenty of storage space, and a working TV, although I didn't watch too much of it, I was out and about instead. If you do want to go exploring maybe even until the late hours you're given an RFID key fob to let you into a side door so you don't need to pester any of the staff to get back to your room. Again with the location it's on a bus route along the coast so you can make your way as far as Brighton, or even with a few buses along to Portsmouth if you want. It's also a short walk from the train station which was how I got here. I can't comment much on the food as this wasn't available at the time when I stayed, but I was made aware of this when I booked and ate elsewhere anyway. I'd probably stay here again if I decide to come back which I probably would as it was a nice place, and this little hotel had a certain charm to it.

Visited today for lunch. We both had three of the ‘small plates’. Food was delicious, fresh and served in good time. Young male staff member was very efficient, informative and helpful. Catered to our preferences with the food, tweaking it to our liking. The garden is a lovely large stretch of grass and there was a bouncy castle there today should people be visiting with children (there is a charge for bouncy castle) Land lady is friendly and pub dog Rocky is a beauty - he is dog friendly and very calm and sweet. Would definitely recommend. Have previously had a cooked breakfast here which was also lovely.

We had a lovely afternoon tea there for 10 people. Service was good and the sandwiches, scones and cakes were lovely. Thank you so much.

Food was terrible ordered burger a chips the burger was so pink not cooked. so many people sent the burger orders back. When it eventually come it tasted odd I just left it. lady looked moody and annoyed with all the food being sent back, I didn’t bother to ask for a refund. Great location and big outside back garden. Nice place to go for a drink, bar staff was friendly just a shame about the food.

stayed at the beach green recently, stayed for dinner with my friends, the garden had a lovely atmosphere, and the food was very good value for money given the portions and quality of food. i got the chicken burger, and my friends got steak frite and classic burger. the room was very clean, and had a comfortable nights stay. would definitely come back!

The staff, drinks and food were all fantastic. There was a superb atmosphere, the beer garden was very spacious and homely. Would recommend!

We recently stayed at the Beach Green Hotel for a weekend while visiting Family. The room we stayed in was Lovely. And the Staff are very friendly and welcoming. We also enjoyed a few drinks in their lovely Bar. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Went To Karaoke Night Good Sound Good Atmosphere Would Like It To Be A Regular Thing

Cozy hotel, excellent breakfast, nice base for visiting the city of Brighton. Bus station is nearby

A great location and could do so much with the garden. The lady in charge was not very friendly. Chips were so cold my husband couldn’t eat them. Children’s ice cream they charged me more than on the menu when complained charged the menu price but gave one child half the amount!! No not a great pub. Such a shame as could be.

This hotel/pub/restaurant is well located just across the road from Lancing Beach/Park. I actually went twice. Once with my parents for a fry up at 10am on Saturday morning. The owner was friendly. There is a gorgeous cloud of a dog. The food was lovely too. Went back on Sunday at 2pm for Sunday lunch. There were seven of us. The service we got from the team was brilliant. Quick. Attentive. Friendly. All spot on. The food was a delight. I was really happy with my roast beef. A really enjoyable lunch. I expect my parents will become regular visitors.

Very comfortable stay. Great sea view from a clean well appointed room. Staff very helpful. Breakfast very tasty.

We regularly visit Beach Green to eat and have never been disappointed. Today we had a seriously good roast dinner, lots of well cooked veg , beef done to perfection for someone who likes medium rare. Service excellence in a relaxing and pleasant environment. Thank you to all !

Absolutely sublime Sunday lunch, consistently good standard of food and service. Well worth a visit.

We very much enjoyed our four night stay and would recommend Beach Green Hotel.

I went to the pub earlier this morning with my family, and the attitude of the manager was absolutely appalling. Seeing the way she speaks not only to her employees who are clearly young but also customers disgusted me. I can say i will not be returning as I do not want to give money to such poor management. I do not recommend coming here especially if you want to take your children to a nice environment. People should NOT be treated like this

Only moved to Lancing recently. Very nice pub & landlady seems nice stopped & chatted to us

Did not stay but ate in the restraunt. Food and service top class. Will visit again soon.

Lovely Sunday Roast Lunch. Great service, great food, seafront location. Washed down with a delicious rose Pinot Grigio.
