Lovely little cafe! Great food & coffee, friendly staff :) enjoyed our homemade soup at this cute little cafe! Also a little sweet shop inside.

Popped in for coffee on way home from lakes. Needed to stretch legs. Few people in but two girls behind counter greeted us with smile and a hello. Sweet corner when u first go in with amazing sweets from long ago and new ones. Spent ten minutes browsing remembering school days !!!! Lady behind counter very chatty. Asked for earl grey. No soya just oat so had black. Hubby asked for decaf coffee and looked at the cakes. Asked if any were dairy free and waitress said she wasn’t sure but would check allergen book. Then suggested caramel shortcake or chocolate vegan cake. Hubby said yes please they said take a seat we will fetch them over. Very chatty and friendly. Took a seat and they were brought over within minutes. Lovely little tea cup and good sizing of cake. Hubby said was delicious. Visited toilet before leaving. Very very clean and well presented. Nice handwashing and clean fluffy towel. Reasonable prices, good service clean and friendly. Very impressed would definely call again !!!!

Beautiful cheese scone the best i’v ever had washed down with a gorgeous cup of tea in a China cup and saucer … absolutely delightful. Will be back ASAP … thank you happy staff xx

Popped in for a cuppa and a scone while visiting the area. Lovely little place - staff were friendly and helpful, and the scones were amazing! Will definitely go back next time I'm in Allendale

Really good honest fare at very reasonable cost indeed. Very clean throughout and they actually serve tea in proper tea cups !

A fantastic welcome, lovely home cooking and baking, great coffee, and a traditional sweet shop to boot! A great place to spend a while!
