Best stone-baked, sourdough pizza in Coventry. Hands down. I've never had a bad meal from this place. Only problem is them being too popular and selling out!

never received the food yet it is claiming we have. attempted to call to get this resolved but no one is answering so we can get an explanation to why we haven't gotten our order. disappointing service

Pizza’s are the best around, have great deals on Thursdays 2 pizza’s for 16.00. You can eat in or take away.

Finally!! A beautiful authentic tasting pizza, this was delicious beautiful ingredients right down to the sourdough base, not a piece of plastic cheese in sight, well worth the money. And in a different league!

Oh my goodness I don’t even know what to say the food was absolutely delicious best takeaway pizza I have ever had! So fresh and full of flavour…. All I can say is WOW

2nd time we have ordered pizzas from here. The pizzas are hot (and we are quite on the outskirts of their delivery area) and really flavoursome. 100% better than normal pizza takeaway. Really happy with the service.

I got cold food, I got no sause I have ordered and I got no coke as well. The delivery guy had to go and buy coke but it didn’t matter coz the food was cold anyways. I would like to get a refund for this because I definitely am very upset with this order

Order was processed MUCH quicker than anticipated. It was still hot when I got it; quality & quantity were clutch (looking forward to my leftovers in the morning) and the delivery driver was an absolute sweetheart!!!

Absolutely fantastic! There are two top 1 pizza places in Cov and after today I think The Barrel is the 'toppest' one. A bit more spicy than I expected, but it made it better. F loved it. Delivery time set to ASAP and they delivered ~30min sooner than JustEat suggested. Lovely lady who delivered, warned me about new recipe for the base. I can't say it's better or worse, it's still great. Keep up the good work, The Barrel! Please don't disappoint us like other pizza places did after some time. 7 stars!

2hrs late and not answering phone. Steer well clear of them at all costs. Awful experience never to be repeated. Truly surprises Just Eat let them trade.

Lovely food, especially the calzone! The pizza base was a little dry/tough and the chicken goujons were terrible value for money. However the food arrived on time, had delicious flavours and was enjoyable.

Very few places do stone baked pizza. It’s not the usual fast food slop. That’s probably why it’s always the top rated pizza place.

**PLEASE READ** First thing is first, I haven't felt so sorry for anyone in a long time as I have the poor woman who delivered this evening. Visibly upset at my door due to frustration of wanting to get food out and knowing it was a disaster, you did your best. Now. Food was over THREE HOURS until it was delivered. I understand you're short staffed, but don't tell me when we were an hour and 40 minutes in that "I have one out and you are next when they're back, 30 minutes" when I asked for an estimate. That 30 minutes was 85 minutes in actuality. 7pm order, 10:05pm delivery. Then when eventually it arrived the chicken was nice, the garlic bread was nice but 1/4 was burnt which left a horrible taste, the pizza was nice. The pizza was create your own in which 2/4 ingredients I paid for weren't on the pizza. The garlic bread I ordered was plain when I ordered an Nduja one. So 2/3 things wrong. All in all, simply a disaster. 13 calls overall as I tried to get through to say just cancel it but didn't pick up the phone 12 times. Highest rated pizza place in Cov, fine, must've been an off night. But never again.

First time I’ve ordered from here. I was swayed by the impressive reviews so thought I would give it a try. Now this was the first Friday after payday so I was expecting it to be busy and perhaps take a while - and it did. In fact it was really late compared to the quoted delivery time, about 2 hours after I placed the order. However, a lovely chap from the restaurant phoned my mobile to tell me that it was going to be late; doing so before I rang them to ask, which was a nice touch and great service. He explained that they were a driver down and obviously it was bad timing with it being a Friday night. He assured me that my order would be with me as soon as possible and I was fine with that. These things happen after all. Anyway, some time later the food arrived. Again the delivery person was very apologetic and explained the situation. Thankfully the food was really well packaged and retained its heat and freshness. I was worried it would be cold (as often happens with late food ordered online). As for the food itself; well the Pizzas were the highlight. Absolutely fantastic quality and very authentic to those you may find in Italy. Will definitely be trying again. Hopefully on a night where they have less issues going on. The wedges weren’t great but perhaps that was down to the delay. Can’t rate highly enough for the food and customer service. Well done! 👌🏻

What more can I say,, I won’t get pizza anywhere else and been buying from here over a year. Told all my friends also. You won’t be disappointed.

First and last time ordering. Food was late and forgot the dip, the drivers said he’d go and get it and come back, he didn’t. I had a calzone which was burnt on the outside and undercooked on the inside. The dough wasn’t fully cooked and the filling just tasted like tomato purée. I did see a review saying this was the best pizza in Coventry, if that’s true then it must be the only pizza available in Coventry. Awful.

Honestly the best pizza I have had on a long time. Good communication from the delivery driver. Outstanding. Highly recommend. Also the spicy dipping sauce is Hot hot!! Right up my street. If I’m in the area again I will certainly be using this place.
