Few days ago I bought some creamy cakes from them to take to the friends house, the cakes were all sour and dated, so embarrassed 😞. The prices compare to the other Persian confectionery in Ballerds lane are so expensive, and cakes quality is poor! Don’t recommended them to anyone!

! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Very rude staff. No courtesy. Extremely impatient. They have not been given any training of how to deal with customers.

I have been going to Emmanuel Shop for the past 3 years and I love their cakes. I have ordered few birthday cakes and I go there monthly after dinner for a sweet treat. I am a cake lover and I am always happy to go there. The staff over there are so friendly and they are genuinely helpful.I have bought few boxes of Jaffran tea and Jaffran sugar with the advice of the staff and it was so lovely. Nice and lovely little shop....Affordable....Need to go for a walk after eating those cakes. They are the best....I only ordered from them!! Very light with not much cream but it is for those who want to treat themselves fairly

Emmanuel is a local Iranian patiserrie which have lovely fresh cakes including my ultimate favorite large profiteroles. I first found out about it when my client bought some cakes to my office and they had said they were from Emmanuel in ballards lane. I then decided to get some cakes from there to take to my aunties house and was surprised at how rude the lady behind the counter was. To start with she didn't speak English so that was hard to communicate, she was speaking in her language to another customer whilst serving me which i ignored but this happened not once, or twice but 5 times at which i then had to stop visiting as it was becoming frustrating and rude. The last time i had gone in there, the owner was shouting at a customer in such a bad manner that i felt uncomfortable and walked out. Such a huge shame as the cakes were delicious but customer service comes above all!

I recieved the worst service from this little cake shop. DONT ASK THEM TO MAKE YOUR BIRTHDAY CAKE! Asked for chocolate sponge, chocolate topping for my daughter, they instead the complete opposite and did not try to fix or appoligise when I went back!!! encountered the rudest member of staff! Clearly no idea of how to keep customers happy! Will never go back again!!!

I am iranian living in London for about 18 years , Here is my unfortunate story , About 2 months ago, I purchased some boxed iranian sohaan and a couple of kilos of boxed Isfahan Gaz, When i came home i realised the expiry dates on the boxes have been tempered with ( scratched out ) and been labelled again with another date . Initially I trusted them and told myself , maybe it is a mistake , i opened the boxes and i checked them , They were all bad , I took them back to the shop the next day ( I had to drive about 45 min ) and hear what the lady shop keeper said. After my explanations and showing her the condition of the products , first thing she said was " don't worry its ok !!! We know that !!! I told her to do something about it , this is not good for our iranian community and i give her a proper lecture about the dangers of bad food , She promised me that she will collect all the expired boxes from the shelves that evening , Story short ,,,,i went there again a week later and i saw stack of boxes with scratched expiry dates and relabelled !!!!!! In a very rude way she said " oh its you again ,,,we mostly sell the daily production food (cakes) and we do not sell of those boxed products !!!!! Anyway , since then i have never put my foot in that shop and i advise you to not do it. Otherwise, you may be facing food poisoning, or other food related (health) problems!

The place sells expired products! Please check the dates of the items as many of them are expired or have new labels covering the old expiry dates! I bought there products which have been expired and their colour and smell was outdated! The shopkeepers were told about my concerns and they just ignored me! I am especially concerned about people who have problems with their health, such as diabetes! The Iranian sweets (no-sugar sohan ) for diabetics were expired too... It's very sad as Iranian pastries are amazing and it would be nice to try them in London but I would just like to warn everybody when buying products at Emanuel to look at the expiry dates and be aware that some of the products might be outdated and bad.

It is the first option for birthday cakes, their other patisseries are excellent too, but they have good competitors for Zaban and Denmarki. Also they have lots of religious signs and leaflets which doesn't fit the purpose of shop at all. Other than that, great sweets, cookies and cakes. BTW, it's not a restaurant!

This is a small patisserie near North Finchley with a small seating area outside on the porch. Iranian sweets come in two varieties; 'dry' and 'wet'. 'Dry' sweets are usually biscuits and do not need to be kept in the fridge while 'wet' sweets are fresh cream cakes and Iranian equivalents of Danish pastries. I have to say that this small shop offers the best Iranian fresh cream cakes I have ever eaten. The Swiss rolls and 'napelon' desserts are simply divine. Make no mistake, this is not healthy eating and each cake is calorie laden. But you know what that is exactly what a dessert should be. Proper cream cakes with pure thick cream and deliciously sweet. The cakes are sweet as they should be and do not overpower you with vanilla essence like other bakeries. They also do birthday cakes which cost £20 for 5 people. The shop also sells a variety of dried nuts and fruits. The biscuits are fine but not nicer than some of the Kosher bakeries in the same area. If you want a guilty treat and a taste of proper Iranian dessert then this is the place to go.

My food took so long to arrive and when it finally arrived it was a completely different order to what I ordered making me unable to eat.

Ordered plenty of nuggets, along with other items, with five sauces, all listed on the order sheet attached to the sealed delivery bag. Only two were inside. Called them and they tried to blame Uber Eats. When I told him the bag was sealed, person who answered the phone admitted that "maybe one of their staff made a mistake" but because of GDPR he couldn't access our address to fix the issue. Terrible aervice. Pathetic!
