Nice place. Food and service good. Surprised there was no French wines though?

Waited around 3 and a half hours for food that was Tesco bought (hot wings), steak had clear signs of being glued together. Service was unbelievably bad, after we complained they had a comedic level of sas. Overall considering the price, service and quality of the food, may be one of the worst places Iv ever been. Nice scenery though😐

The best thing about this restaurant is the service, hence the 1 star. It is just a shame it is let down by such awful food. The cod tacos were stale. The tacos were so hard and chewy, they were awful and the cod was a poor quality fish finger at best. The chicken Katsu said on the menu it was homemade, it definitely was not, it had no flavour at all, the sauce tasted very processed. My husband had the schnitzel, which was a cordon bleu chicken, not a schnitzel. It was supposed to come with a smoked tomato salad, which was not the case, it was just normal cold tomatoes. It has put us off having breakfast here, so we are going elsewhere.

This was something. I was staying in the hotel and wanted to grab a quick bite for dinner. When I arrived, I was standing in the doorway for a solid 5 minutes waiting for someone to tell me which table is free. A guest finally took pity on me and informed me which tables where available. The waiters were kind- but ignored me for a solid 15 minutes. I ordered the gnocchi - which I assumed would be a safe choice - they arrived after a very short time... The taste was bitter and tangy. Half melted cheese was sprinkled across the gnocchi but did nothing to elevate the taste. While the gnocchi in the center where piping hot the gnocchi on the outside were cold. I am not sure what to make of it. Overall this was a strange experience and I would not recommend having dinner there. The manager offered to comp the meal which was a very nice offer.

My party of six had afternoon tea at the Burford Bridge Hotel this afternoon. We were quite full and couldn't eat the selection of cakes so we asked our server if we could have a 'doggy bag' to take them home. We were told it wasn't possible to take food out of the dining room. We asked why and were told it was company policy. Absolute nonsense, this is food we'd PAID for! Every five star hotel and Michelin star restaurant allows you to take home uneaten food. This ridiculous rule ruined the whole experience for us.

Several weeks ago I booked a table for a special celebration for this coming Sunday. Last night I got an email saying I had cancelled my booking, which I certainly had not. I have been trying to call to find out why they have cancelled my booking at such short notice, but they never answer their phone. Do not recommend at all.

Planned a date night here, they were only serving the lunch menu. Nobody told us this until we got there. Very disappointing!

Great experience of a posh afternoon tea. The full experience had too much sweet dishes and not enough sandwiches. Would have preferred it the other way round. We ran out of sandwiches and wanted more, whereas we could finish the macaroons, and other sweets. A little expensive but okay for a treat.

Great food! Had a meal here while stayed at the connected hotel. We had the 3 course fine-dining menu, which we couldn't fault. The pork belly was amazing!

Just had a family lunch in the Emlyn Restaurant, the food was fantastic! The linguini absolutely superb and the fish and chips were also well received by my family. What made the lunch even better was the wonderful service we received from Farid and the team, they created a warm and joyful atmosphere, so good we immediately booked to return.

Excellent food and good service. Very nice location and clean, comfortable restaurant. Relatively expensive but not crazy prices. We had the fixed price Sunday lunch menu with a choice of 4-5 options for each course. Very nice waiting area near the bar where you can look at the menu while waiting for your table.

Would like to see menu options please like on the wall. Some times also food is cold then food is mad hot. Can't win. Too small for the amount of ppl trying this place. Though EVERY STAFF MEMBER is great, polite and an accommodating. Store needs to be bigger. Then you've got a win in the high Street. MENU ON WALL PLEASE.

We were booked in for a birthday tea specially, even though they weren't doing teas that week. When we arrived a lovely big table with white tablecloth and napkins was ready for us. We were offered coffee and tea, which came promptly, followed by a plate of hot snacks and a cake stand containing a mouth-watering selection, including egg mayonnaise, coronation chicken and cheese and ham sandwiches. The bread was beautifully soft, with the crusts cut off. In addition were warm scones with jam and clotted cream, topped off by a selection of mini cakes. We were so full we had to take the cakes home! Thank you to Penny, who took such good care of us, and the other members of staff who made us feel very special.

I wouldn’t stay again. Hopefully the pub is alright but the rooms just don’t do it for me. Cobwebs on the walls, dirty hand prints around the light switch, crumbs on the floor. Pillows were maybe as old as me and had no substance to them and whilst the bottom bed sheet was clean there was no top sheet, just a duvet which I felt had not been washed since the last guest, it didn’t smell fresh. At under £40 for a single room it could be considered good value but it’s not a place I will return to.
