KFC Dorking - High Street in Mole Valley

I've got reason to believe this place has been consistently overcharging me for some time. Since April they charge £5.49 for a mega box. The menu in the shop says £4.99. All the stores I've been to London and rest of Surrey charge £4.99. But at the till they charge £5.49. When I call them out on it I get "sorry, the menu is wrong, we can't change the till price, call customer service". This meal cost £3.50 last year. Like their wrap which cost £1.99 before last Xmas and now costs £5.49 but with crisps and a bottle of water. If they had significantly upgraded the store and food in this timeframe I'd get it but there are literally rats running round the shop, google this for evidence. The food isn't worth the price either. Always a tiny leg of chicken with dry hard skin and a weird colour. Lord knows how long they've had the chicken lying there for. If I ask for a thigh I get told they're for customers who order the bigger buckets. Does it really matter that much to you? If someone is ordering a big bucket anyway do they need the extra big pieces? Also there was a well publicised rat infestation in 2024. The only good point about this store is there is a toilet, but more often than not there's kids vaping in there

We ordered a 12 piece boneless feast (which comes with chips I checked on the receipt) and when I got home and opened the bag there was not a chip in sight, and I called about 20 times over the span of 2 hours and I haven’t been answered. It’s not like they were busy because when I went in there was only 1 other person in there. This is the only food I’ve had today and I’m absolutely fuming

Gave me wrong burger, chips were dead cold and dry. Prices are a joke for the quality wallah

normally love KFC not here though , greasy soft chicken coating and chips floppy. ate in and tables not cleaned and bins overflowing . This branch not upto brand standard

I pickup on my motorbike and they will not give me the drinks in cans. I have offered to pay more, I have explained the situation. I will never go here ever again. A crying shame.

Rarely go here and realise why. Last time asked for 10 wings, got home only 8, receipt said 10. This time, chips seemed soo old I needed sink plunger to actually get them down.

Every so often or once a year, I stop at KFC. The taste and smell are certainly moorish, but unfortunately the end result apart from an over dose of MSG flavour enhancer, is sad for the planet. The staff are under paid, the chicken is caged or barn reared (no free range here), the packaging destroys the planet and the food is bad for your health. But who cares? The Colonel certainly doesn't... He's too busy counting his cash and investing into a new company that makes a magical pill to counter obesity.

Every time we order the food doesn’t come or the whole lot is wrong then a rude driver calls to say he won’t deliver because our address is to far away??? You accepted the order you should be able to deliver it. Rubbish service called 8 times and no answer £50 taken without any food yet again.

I been going on and off for years and been what you'd expect for a fast food place, but the last fortnight or so I went twice and both times I've been ill the next day Not being a 'Karen' but you've lost my custom ...

The food must have been made hours ago and only reheated for when an order is made. I was so so disappointed to say the least, but judging by the other reviews, I guess this is the kind of standard you get from here. Food was dry and over cooked (probably because not fresh and left under a heat lamp), my boyfriend said his milkshake was watery!! The chicken was just not edible, there was a hard bit in my burger and barely any sauce. No idea what the hell is going on at this KFC and yes I’m aware, it’s fast food so not going to be the absolute greatest. However, I do expect it to be edible and made to order, not left out for hours and very obviously reheated. Absolutely disgusting, DONT GO HERE!

Absolutely dreadful service. My son's online order was taken and paid for. When we arrived and signed in as app instructed the order had been lost. Server behind the counter just shrugged her shoulders even though we had proof of purchase. Told us if we had a printer to print off proof and send it to head office. The staff were not busy but obviously couldn't have cared less. I will not be going back and I am advising all my friends not to either.

Loved the rat i found in my box meal and the unclean floors really exemplified its character

The chips are terrible- they look and smell like an old socks.... Staff is really nice. You probably won't get there in wheelchair or maybe they have somewhere hidden platform. There is one high step to get inside and doors weight like a tonne. There are few tables to sit and self service checkout. Edit. August 2023 Haven't been there for a while as food was terrible. On our recent visit- as there was no other options- kids wanted chips a no fish- I have to say food was alright. Generally speaking kfc went downhill in recent years. They changed the soggy, old chips? The toilet still stinks. The place always looks dirty. Staff is very polite.

Extremely rude, what I can only assume was the "manager". Explained the KFC site didn't give me a collection number, but apparently he has no idea what that system is. Kept repeating I don't know and just got angry at me. Clearly needs retraining.

Sure this branch gave us food poisoning and I’ve never been so ill. It’s the only thing we both ate. I’m going to avoid kfc in future and I would suggest others avoid it too.

Often miss out parts of the order here...its also luck of the draw if you get good meat one day or bad the next. Sometimes it's fresh and delicious then it can be grey dry and awful. It's put me off going now. Though usually this was due to the kids pestering me haha but yes KFC is off the list of options for us now.

Just had this amazing zinger burger! It was so dry it also came with few lettuce leaves🤤 can not forget about the teaspoon of Zinger mayo at the bottom👌 amazing value for only £5.49

I think I'm never ordering from Dorking Branch. FOOD HYGIENE will be getting a notification from me. Last time I ate from there was just before new year. I was on the toilet the next day.. On the 19/02/23 @13.17 Thought I'd chance it. It's gotten worse. Been on and off the toilet since 5am.

Bought a bucket this evening, yesterday's chicken and they over salted it to crisp it up, 4 unhappy children, treat night ended up not a treat.

As a loyal KFC customer for over 30 years, i was shocked at the lack lustre food and service from the Dorking restaurant. This is not my normal experiance. I had the unfortunate experience of ordering a family bucket last week! The order was thrown into a bag as no buckets were available. This meant the chicken grease had saturated the order before i got back to my office. There were no condiments or sauses (despite asking for them) put in the bag, which made the food bland, especially the chips. The biggest issue was the chicken. The coating was either overcooked or worse reheated! It was far too many shades darker than it should have been. I would have taken the order back but was at work at the time amd that ship sailed. It ended up in the bin literally. I did, however, go back to talk to the manager/franchisee. On my way home from work the same day. However, I am still awaiting a courtesy call back.

Terrible customer service. Try to call their phone number. You will understand In the last two years, every time I tried to call them, no one answered my phone call Shame on owner Shame on manager And Shame on KFC's head office

Food was ok. However, someone had mopped the floor with so much soap in the mixture the surface was like and ice skating rink. Almost comical. Lucky I am not litigious because a solitary slippery floor sign in the seating area would not be sufficient i fear to negate the management's responsibility should someone slip and fall walking through the door. The risk was clear to all, no one seemed concerned.

The chicken had been cooked, cooked again, and a hat trick let's cook it again for good luck... dry was an understment only one place for the 6 piece family bucket.... the bin. What a waste of money.

Regular customer for over 20 years plus ,staff amazing and friendly but portion sizes are so small now . Honestly I would recommend Royal chicken few doors up .

Food is always cold never hot have asked for fresh hot food. But never get it gone down hill. Chicken far to salty and very dry. Not in enjoyable Baked beans over cooked. Just a very unpleasant experience and a waste of money and they never even offered our money back or even offered to cook fresh food after i had taken it back.

We go here quite regularly and have always found it to be good quality food-wise. Everyone hates on KFC but secretly they know it's great. The staff here are nice when you get them talking, but they are clearly all overworked and underpaid which is a shame. Order on the app ahead of time and check in on the way for the speediest service (and best deals).

Food below par. chips where dry over cooked the zinger burger was so dry with a tiny bit of lettuce and a dash of mayo. The gents toilet was dirty and smelly with no handles or locks on the door.overall not happy on my first visit there.I dont think i would return anytime soon.

Shocking place to visit never mind have something to eat in Called in around 5.30ish on Thursday 21st July Not that busy when we were in the queue just a few customers in front The young lady on the Till was very polite and helpful guiding us through the menu We each decided to have a KFC gravey box Food arrived very quickly so we thought that we would eat in as there were lots of empty tables although not all were clean just a couple taken up with school kids in uniforms Can't complain about the quality of the items in the box everything was fresh and hot. That's where the good points end. During our time in the establishment it started to get busy but not really with people eating it was more with school kids and their friends The school kids in uniforms were well behaved From the other lot there was only a few of them who had food and half a dozen plus hangers on The overall general behaviour left a lot to be desired one girl thought it funny to wave a open Tampon in the face of a young boy who was trying to eat his burger, she continued with this behaviour for a few minutes while her friends found her amusing. After a while One young girl left the group walked up the street and returned with 2 large boxed pizza's She sat down with them and was promptly informed by a female member of staff (who looked like she was magement) that she could not eat them in the seated area and at that point the young girl left with a few of the other school kids During our time there School kids were rushing in and out and from what we could hear it sounded like some sort of ongoing conflict between a couple of the kids The member of staff who spoke to the young girl was standing in the staff doorway and was joined by a male member of staff and she appeared to be pointing out and discussing the state of the floor and the tables. The door closed behind them and that's how it was left. We carried on eating and chatting to a young mother who was at the table next to ours with her 2 very young well behaved children who were also having a meal. After the crowd of school children had left we thought that would be a good time for staff to get out and around the seating area to clean and tidy up No we were totally wrong there was only one clean table without scraps of food and rubbish on it and that was taken by a young man who had decided to eat in. Overall not impressed with the management of the KFC and the handling of the school children or the general condition of the tables and the amount of food debris on the floor my quickly taken photographs show part of the general condition including a mayonnaise slip hazard From the photographs it can be seen that the waste bin is full to overflowing and there was only the top of that area where trays with left overs had been placed, to place any waste boxes food etc We spent over 3/4 of an hour inside and at no point in time did any member of staff enter the seating area to either clean the floor or tables The waste bin was already full when we sat down. It just shows how quickly they have returned to not cleaning tables between customers. I will say nothing about the gents toilet the photo says it all The Pandemic appears to be a distant memory.. Until there is a dramatic change this place should be avoided..

I was on Wednesday night, tables and floor very dirty, trash cans full, had to leave garbage after meal. next to the garbage can. I was there for the first and last time.

Uber eats messed up my delivery but the staff at kfc sorted it no problem

Very popular, but often has a significant queue and quite a long wait at popular times. The location of this particular branch of KFC is difficult for parking, and can easily result in a penalty charge notice, so you will need to park further away and walk back. Prices seem to go up fairly often, so it isn't as good in terms of value for money as it used to be. Menu choice is very extensive, but the chips don't travel well, and aren't great by the time you get home.

I think out of the KFCs I've been to, this is one of the nicest however it is quite small and the staff seemed very nice! It was a quick visit but my expirence was pretty good to be honest.

First time at this KFC and it was a quick visit, so can't give a full review of it. That said, the service was super quick and the staff there were very friendly Overall happy and satisfied with the service :) Update: KFC App is unfortunately not working here currently. Hopefully there'll be a fix there soon!

Given the bad reviews I hoped this branch wouldn't be as bad as people have stated. Sadly it really is the case. I have stood and watched people (men) arrive and be served before me despite ordering much later, to then be told they are just cooking more chicken and will be another 5 or minutes. This is after 20 minutes already. You know that old joke about getting a fatty meal amd ordering a diet coke? Well the jokes on you as they are no longer selling full fat pepsi but are happy to sell undercooked deep fried chicken. Go figure. Last meal made all 3 of us ill. Will try the leatherhead branch but not holding much hope for the brand anymore.

When I arrived there were about 7 people in front of me and one person taking orders and serving the food so I got ready for a long wait. But...... I couldn't be more wrong, that girl behind the counter was on fire, she rocked it and banged out them orders like a champ. Before I knew it I was tucking into mine. That first deserves a medal.

You can sit in the turnaround I pretty quick. Parking is an issue as there are yellow lines. KFC is fast food. Youll like it if you like fried chicken.

It's fast .. it's food .. zinger popcorn chicken was very dry .. and the zinger fillets too ... But it's either here or Cobham services .. it was fairly busy so I'm surprised they were so dry as you would think the turnover would be high

This is a small, take away KFC with reasonable parking available to the side. It is also only a stones throw from the theatre and leisure centre.

Has a self service touch screen (as per McDonald's) which I found very useful. The waiting area is small though so squashed in with lots of other people (not very covid friendly!). Food was very nice (wrap and popcorn chicken). Prices very keen and does not have to be unheathy

The chicken is far to spicy, the menu is totally different to other KFC.

Clean well maintained restaurant and chicken always tastes better from this restaurant.

Go here often as do my colleagues. The 20% NHS Blue Light Discount card means that we tend to eat more KFC than we ought to!! But it's always hot and tasty.

Today was my first visit here. Really professional and considerate staff.

Arrived in the queue of two about 19:20 and waited what felt like two to four minutes as the cashier was asked to help catch up with the order s. Got my order into the system and moved to the waiting area. I could see a number of orders were being made ready and an order which was ready to be picked up. The picking up area is also frequented by the delivery guys on bikes. After a short while the qued list of about six orders all transferred to the pick up screen and all of a sudden there was a lot of confusion. But nevertheless I did get my order and left. A little more work on the dispatch side of things might help a little, perhaps get the delivery boys to pick up via an entrance beside the sit down area.

Many years since I've visited a KFC & I was pleasantly surprised. Chose a Boneless Feast - tasty selection, lots of sides & dips & a large bottle of Pepsi. Chicken & chips piping hot. Packaged with minimum of plastic packaging which is great.

If KFC didnt have a multi million pound annual advertising budget then this place would sit empty and have no customers. The new menu is the worst in their history, the portion sizes are small and the prices are not cheap in comparison to their competitors. Overall a complete rip off.

This place used to be a regular occurrence for me and my friends, but in recent years the standard of service has gone pretty downhill. My last visit was for two crush'ems, this took about fifteen minutes to make despite there only being three other customers in the store at the time. Definitely not the fastest of foods...

Looks like staff do not know anything about online orders. Arrived to KFC, marked my online order to be collected but instead of giving it to me it has been put on the side for delivery drivers. Also got wrong drinks.

The team is great. Even on a busy day with people queuing outside they kept themselves calm and did their job properly and at high standards. You can also order online and get your food delivered at your door! Try it, you will not be disappointed!

Even with the current situation they dealt with each customer quite efficiently. Very happy with the service and the food was great! Highly recommend!

Worst KFC I've ever been in. Dry small chicken pieces and expensive. Lettuce was going brown and the fillet burger was horrible . The staff were miserable and whilst I was waiting a woman was complaining about the shows chicken.
