First time and have to say. stunning..first time in 3 years I had fish and chips ..Portals are massive..didnt expect that..well done

the chip shop is only down the road, yet it took 75 minutes from the time of ordering to actually get the food. The driver was on route for 35 minutes on what should have been a 10 minute drive at most. Our food was cold on delivery. Very disappointed as we raved about the food the last order

Awful had last night's left over kebab was pretty hard tbh and the chips wasn't much better absolutely gutted all I wanted was a nice meal 😪 never again..

Nicest fish and chips we've had a long time. I don't usually like sauces with my fish and chips but that was the nicest curry sauce and gravy I've ever had. Decent price and good timing!! Definitely order again or recommend. Thank you..

I ordered a doner kebab with nan bread. Opened the box and i could only see doner meat. Normally I get my kebab where you can pick it up within the nan. I pulled the meat to one side and there it was, the tiniest nan I’d seen. I managed to get a couple bits of doner meat on it and fold it over before eating. The rest I had to eat with my fingers. Bear in mind I had chilli sauce all over the meat so this made for one messy meal. Sort your nans out so the meat goes in them. Google a picture and you’ll understand what I wanted.

My fritter was a bit overcooked and was too solid to eat

Lovely curry sauce and great portions - will be ordering from here again

45 minutes late and salad missing from kebab

Yet again before I placed order stated delivery was 50 - 60mins after order placed delivery time was 75 - 85 mins. When food arrived was Luke warm, by time was plated & ate was cold - half of the chips was thrown, as was the battered rissole.

Within timescale given but not what was advertised before order placed. My only gripe this order was chips were mainly end/crispy bits as opposed to chips. Not usual so will not put me off ordering again

Qaited between 30 and 45 minutes later than i should of. Delivery driver didnt even apologise for the wait. Hsd my food to find he bruger was rock hard and luke warm at a push. Chips were cold and unedible. And sausage batter was vile! Not happy!

Beautiful meal, arrived very fresh and hot. Fish & Chips were gorgeous as well as sausage in batter. A real treat ❤️

Used to love this place but since it was renovated (and possibly new owners?) it has gone down hill, quality isn’t the same anymore. Chips were super pale and not cooked properly, fish was soggy and gravy lumpy.

The chips were really greasy had a big potion they charged for a bag when I said I didn't need one and then just chucked the money on the counter not the best customer service

Great fish and chips. Generous on the chips and fish was tasty and batter was crisp.

After 2nd order I can honestly say... Really tasty Fish 🐟 & Chips 🍟! Good quality food, fast delivery, reasonably priced.

3 stars for chips only - bit hard not cooked through , anaemic looking & soggy. 5 stars for the potato fritter & rissoles - stunning as ever.

Lovely food great courier who actually delivered and has integrity

The worst experience I’ve had with a food delivery. Our order included 2 large chips, both of which were severely undercooked. I called them to ask for properly cooked chips to be sent out. The guy answered the phone and was immediately confrontational. He then told me that he was aware that they’d had a bad batch of potato’s come in, and that they’d used them anyway. Hoping that would explain the problem. I naturally told him that that wasn’t ok, and that I wanted properly cooked food or a refund. He said I could complain about this order, on my next one, or that he could send me more chips tomorrow. I said that I was needing them now, seeing as that’s why I ordered them, he then told me to just speak to just eat, and then hung up on me. Worst service I’ve had, and I will NOT be ordering from these Emelias again. Save yourselves the effort and go with someone who cares.

When customers spend £30 on food. its expected to arrive on time, still warm and delivered to their front door. Not in this case. The order was late, the delivery driver refused to bring it to my front door, on Top of him being at the wrong street, so by the time I could find said driver , the food was freezing. The chips tasted stale and the batter on the fish was soggy. The delivery driver had an absolute stinking attitude! never ordering again!

I ordered via Food Hub and a small fish and chips onion rings mushy pea sauce and orange Fanta. Waited 3 hours as delivery was pre order for 5pm. When guy delivered he asked for payment to which I showed my email receipt. Then after he'd left I'd no mushy pea sauce or drink. Paid 17.00 too including delivery. So not very organised and probably won't use again or maybe not use Food Hub ......

Arrived really quickly. Portions are HUGE. We ordered 3 meals that would have easily fed 6 people the portion sizes are so generous. Only real negative was the 'cod' bites. 3/6 were just empty batter, no fish which is disappointing, obviously.

My mother always order from her and myself as food always delivered fast to us and food is so wonderfull best chips and food ever higely recomend this chip shop

Before I booked delivery time was 50-60mins, when order placed that went up to 60-84 mins order finally arrived at approx 100 mins. So from deciding to order at 60 mins food actually took 40 mins and I would not have ordered at that time of arrival as due to health reasons cannot eat after certain times. Chips not to the usual standard very chewy bitty chips although only had a few due to the above so pretty much wasted. Unable to eat Rissole/battered sausage until today. Would think twice about ordering again.

Hands down the best kebab that I’ve ever had. Only down side was my tummy wasn’t big enough to finish it all!! It was amazing. Highly recommended

I always order food from this restaurant and I've never had a problem but last night I had a problem. My order was delivered 15 minutes late and part of my order was missing. When I rang the restaurant. They said the rest of my order would be with me in 40 minutes, I don't think I'll use This restaurant again, I feel quite let down

Bit disappointed with order tonight as the lid on curry sauce hadn’t been put on properly and was all tipped out so left with no curry sauce and really messy packages of food.

Outstanding fish and chip shop. I have been many times and always had great service. The prices are fair, the food is always fresh, the service is fast and the portion sizes are extremely generous. Highly recommend, one of the best around. Keep up the good work.

Missed bread roll from order (ordered 2, only received 1). We did receive a large sausage instead of a small sausage, maybe why we didn't receive the extra bread roll? Portion sizes were below average. Probably won't return.

Food came really early and was lovely. Unfortunately they missed the cheese and beans off one of the meals but what we had was delicious.

The food arrived an hour and a half after the order was confirmed. It kept getting put back because no driver was assigned then the food was delivered in a paper bag and was cold. My wife and I only ate it because we was hungry. I would admit it's normally delivered early and in a thermal bag but they dropped the ball on this occasion hence the low marks.

Terrible unfortunately my food was spoilt due to them not taking any notice of the notes on the order asked for NO SAUCE ON THE KEBAB BUT CHILLI SAUCE ALL OVER also food was very greasy to sorry don’t like to complain but was a waste of money

The meal was really nice for a chippy but it took about a 1 hour and 15 mins for delivery, they did state it would take about 1 hour but I think they just need to improve on delivery time.

Chips are nice, everything else isn’t great.

Only reason given 3 stars was the potato fritters & rissoles were cold. Food itself was lovely and would order again

Chips from here are fab . But I had chicken & mushroom pie and it's wasn't great ! It was claggy, filling was dry and tbh difficult to taste as it all tasted of pastry . No chicken or mushroom or sauce !! If you have changed suppliers these are not good !

Large portion size, hot on collection, good service. Nice to have the option of a hotter curry sauce rather than the standard affair found at most chippys.

Absolutely disgusting customer service, ordered 2 monster cans and recieved redbull. Called to ask if they could send the right one out to only be hung up on multiple times. When I did manage to get through he said they would be sent but never received. Would definitely never order again and would not recommend unless you want to be spoken to like a bit of dirt or hung up on. Will not be supporting this buisness again. I will be taking my money else where. Worst service ever received. It's a real shame as the food is amazing.

food was still piping hot on arrival which was surprising as don’t live near by, food was outstanding, best chippy had in a long while, only received 2 cans though instead of 3 as part of the meal deals, i’m sure it would have been. sorted had i rung but we didn’t have a lot of time. do feel the delivery charge is a little steep though.
