We had a really enjoyable breakfast here. The staff were really friendly and very accommodating of our baby and buggy. The food was delicious- glad we found this little spot.

Some confusion with orders on tables around us. Decent pot of tea. Shakshuka more baked eggs. Chipotle chicken wrap so mild we thought it must have been wrong order. Good fries.

Breakfast with friends here was a pleasant experience. Good choices, well cooked and we all raved about the coffee served here

Been here a handful of times already and always pleased with the customer service, it’s been a bit more busy today but things look like they’re moving smoothly and our drinks and food came to us at a good pace. Food is always lovely as ever. The environment/atmosphere is always friendly and cozy to sit in and have a brunch date.

Eat. Drink. Relax. A true gem of a cafe with very friendly staff. Close enough to the city centre for tourists but far enough away to be full of charm and character. Always busy especially in the summer, is always the best compliment you can give. I am often here to enjoy a brunch and coffee whilst doing some writing. The lunches are always fabulous too. Delicious menu at reasonable prices. The exterior has been recently upgraded following the extension to the Edinburgh Tram line. Highly recommended, if you can find a spare table.

Quick breakfast before an early train out of town. Yummy eggs, croissants, coffee, and teas. We went twice this trip as service was excellent.

We had a lovely and delicious breakfast before leaving Edinburgh. Hospitality, atmosphere, service, staffing kindness and Last but not least the food was great / delicious! Next time I will definitely come back for a breakfast again!

Absolutely disastrous. We waited more than 1.5 hours and were always put off without compensation. During this time we could see how others left the café again and again for lack of hospitality and that tables were not cleared for long periods of time, so that more guests left the restaurant again. The dishes that came to the other tables were wrong or something was missing. There was no table where everything was right. When the food came to us it was cold and tasteless and lacked the side dishes that were on the menu. A portion was also scraped together from the last supplies and much too small. When asked about this we received a £0.60 discount and a hearty speech from the proprietor. We have never experienced anything like this.

We were blown away by the positive attitude of the staff and the good, down on earth, food. Breakfast (all day) and Lunch - items offer a great variaty to choose from. Dairy free wasn't an issue at all! We tried cheesecake-brownie, chicken wrap and avocado-egg-sourdough-toast. Finger-lickin' good!
