Eliza's Pantry in Babergh

We had another delicious meal at Eliza’s yesterday, the food is freshly cooked and delicious. In our opinion it is the best cafe in Long Melford and we have tried them all. Well done team and we will certainly be back.

I visited with my wife whilst we were looking for antiques in Long Melford. We stopped for a late lunch in this cosy café. The menu was extensive including an all day breakfast. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The service was quick. The food was delivered promptly and was excellent. My wife had the smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast and I had the coronation chicken sandwich, which was the best that either of us have tasted. The food was freshly prepared and the cappuccinos hot. We would definitely go again.Highly recommended.

The locally sourced food sets this eatery apart. Delicious, tasty cooked breakfast and great coffee. Plus a genuinely warm and friendly welcome from all the staff.

My husband and I have visited three times this year and have been really impressed with the quality of the food and the attentive service. We will certainly visit again when next in the area. Well done to the team

Eaten here several times, recently for Saturday breakfast. Excellent food with locally sourced ingredients, dog friendly as well, great service. What more would you want. Highly recommended

We have previously paid a midweek visit - today it was a Saturday lunchtime. Busy in there ( because it’s popular) but we found a small table just being vacated. The menu is vast - displayed on blackboards - everything from a slice of great looking cakes to a full English - my companion is vegetarian and she found plenty to choose from. I challenged myself to a “big breakfast” - 2 of everything but failed to clear the plate - it was so filling. Next time, just the “ normal “ one of everything for me. My companion chose the cheese ploughman’s and enjoyed every crumb. Very good value for your money. Well worth a visit. (Free on street parking outside).

My boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere for breakfast and came across this little gem. We went in a couple of times the food is gorgeous, the food they used was locally sourced including the sausages from the local butcher which was very good quality. the staff we found were so friendly. We didn't know the area but took the time to talk to us about where to go and if it was worth a look. The interior is both modern and comfortable and very welcoming, we will definitely be back to try the amazing cakes that were all on display. Good work by all staff you do a brilliant job.

Whether it's a coffee and cake stop or full English breakfast this place can't be beat. Quality fresh coffee with lots of choice. We had a vegan breakfast too which was delicious and more than enough to fill a hungry tummy. The cakes are freshly made with a wide choice catered for. We are definitely going back very soon. By far the best in long Melford if not in Suffolk!!!
