Great friendly pub with a great atmosphere

A great little pub in the town centre. Visited it for one of its regular live music events. It has a great atmosphere, the staff are excellent and welcoming. Next time i'm in the area, i'll certainly visit this establishment again.

Dropped in for a cold drink during the first hot day of summer and have to say the service is brilliant. The lady who served was friendly and engaging. Atmosphere is very laid back. Although quite small,it has a terrace outside at the rear where you can enjoy a quiet drink and a chat with friends. Id definitely recommend this venue

Had not been back for a while, but it was great to step back in and still feel welcomed, plus the prices are great.

Staff working at the time, not at all interested in serving drinks. Stayed for first drink then left. Did not try the food. Need to revisit when back in Kent on a better night, after seeing other reviews what are good. 🤞

Spent almost 20 years at this pub,(2nd home)till i moved away nearly 4 years ago, went back earlier this year,as always it was like i never been away, well run by a good team, Manager is lovely,considered a freind, customers always friendly,best pub in Ramsgate,not that i went any where really..miss it and some of the locals..

Had a quiet midweek drink here weeks ago.... returned this week for the Cider and Punk festival. Great atmosphere. Good range of ciders. Fun evening.

Friendly service in this compact local. Use it or lose it!

Really friendly landlady who loves dogs. Our dog was greeted with a bowl of water and dog biscuits. One happy dog and we had a lovely relaxing drink before walking back home from Ramsgate. Loved the 80's music playing too. We will definitely stop off there again with our doggie 🥰

Great little pub which quite frequently has live bands. One tiny critique is that the bar staff need to be constantly hailed as they serve both bars.

Best music venue around they've had some real classic band's over the year's great night out.

I had not been in this pub for 12 months because of walking problems and lack of nearby parking. As soon as I walked through the door, the barmaid asked if I wanted a pint of Guinness. What a memory.

Lovely pub, over 20 of us popped in over eater as we were on a pub crawl. The locals were friendly and enjoyed the music we provided for the short time we were in there. Drinks were reasonable and a great vibe.

Beers always good but the live music this Friday was horrible had to leave because it was way to heavy and sends a negative message

Not a bad pub, nice crowd and bar staff. But £4.20 for 2 cans of coke is excessive. I thought I was in London not Kent. Not great for those that are driving.

Came in the other day for a drink. I was refused a drink by a member of staff who appeared to be drunk. Was then told I could have a drink if I brought the member of staff one which I refused. Won’t be going here again. Shame.

Nice pub, live music (very good) friendly staff, busy night friendly atmosphere. Went with friends for a Christmas party. Food put on was traditional buffet. Have visited on several occasions and my experience has been consistently good.

Loved the atmosphere, great staff and publicans, friendly punters, great regular entertainment, all sport on offer. We are now regulars and recommend you visit.

Not been there recent times, at one time used it fairly regularly. Good atmosphere have various venues (entertainment) there considering many pubs in this area have closed down but seems to have survived ok. Used to have quite a lot of regular customers, and think they still do. Was a pub with a good atmosphere and when passing still seems pretty busy . Not a great deal of room inside the pub when it gets crowded. Presume they still have outside smoking area at back of the place. Overall I'd say its quite a well known pub and looks as if it still gets a fair amount of trade. Used to be a good night out to go there so hope it still is.

Great locals pub. Friendly and welcoming staff. Regular music entertainment from resident DJ Muffer and a wide variety of bands. Would greatly recommend visiting on a beer pong night

This pub has been my 'local' for over six years and its greatest feature are its manager Paula and her staff. It regularly has live music and the bands are a mix of most contemporary styles. When there's no band Tony provides the entertainment with his disco/kareoke most Friday and Saturday nights. The customers are friendly and whether you are out for the evening or just popping in for a quick pint you can be assured of a warm welcome.
