I took my wife for a meal a few days before I travel abroad. It was in appreciation of her allowing me to travel for a charity trek abroad. When we arrived we were seated to a suitable table. The lady was warm and welcoming. As my wife was wearing the niqaab the lady placed a purdah screen around our table. There were many appealing items on the menu. We ordered Lamb shank with brown rice, Soecial Mix 4 (Kobeda and lamb chops, Lemon and Mint Mojito, a bottle of mineral water. That cost us £38. The portions were a good size. Along with the lamb shank with rice there came a lentil soup. Really loved this soup. All the food was nice. Maybe a mistake on our part, we should have asked for the food to be served separately as it went a bit cold. I was fine with it but wife wanted to have it warmed up. The lady offered to have it warmed up. I didn’t want it reheated in microwave. She went and checked with the kitchen. She returned to inform us it would be reheated in microwave, so I let it be. I was very impressed with the food and the mojito was magical though a little pricey. There was a nice atmosphere and being a Tuesday evening it wasn’t too busy. We will return again soon.

Excellent food and great flavours…fabulous service and atmosphere. Highly recommended! Prices reasonable too…all round great experience.

Foods not all that great, customer service is dead only take cash at busy periods of time decline card payments which i can only assume is a form of tax avoidance and expect customers to walk to a cash machine in order to pay cash...0 stars if i could avoid

My most favorite place to eat in Blackburn. I crave for their food every week! Everything is so good from starter to main course. Variety of drinks and also tasty desserts! Good size portion, great service, very clean and well organized. Suitable for children, friends and big family. Couldn’t recommend enough.

First visit, having been recommended to go there by a Friend, but will definitely be back. Food, ambience and service all brilliant. Couldn`t fault a thing and the Kebabs were out of this world, all accompanied by lovely fresh salad, flat-bread and dips .... everything delicious.

Absolutely brilliant food which was only bettered by the service, would definitely recommend for a visit.

Cannot fault this place, the food is fabulous and very reasonably price, unfortunately we could not finish our food. Nice friendly folks and the servers were not in your face or rushing you. We will be back!

Fantastic food lovely service deffo going again. Good atmosphere and food was nice. warm welcome was asked whilst eating if we need anything and if everything is okay.

I came to Elaf with high expectations but unfortunately was let down. The staff were friendly and interior nicely decorated and clean however the food was not great. My mix grill came out rather cold and my naans quite hard and a bit burnt. My daughters burger came out a while after everyone else’s meal came. When the burger did arrive it had no salad or sauce even tho we asked that it did. The staff were accommodating and sorted the burger and warmed my grill up but ultimately it just didn’t taste great. The meat just wasn’t marinated or had any flavour. For some reason this place doesn’t give tap water and Is cash only which was annoying. Overall I don’t think I would come back to Elaf or would recommend it. The food was disappointing and not the cheapest either.

Amazing food, fresh and so tasty and really reasonable. Me and my bf both had a mixed grill and a drink plus a naan bread and it was only £35! Only negative was I asked for my leftovers to be put in a box then forgot to pick it up, will have to go back another time instead lol!

Wanted to have a good evening out with friends after a hard work week/kids etc. would normally head into Manchester for a special meal out but don’t bother - if you are anywhere near Blackburn this place is amazing, excellent food, great service, lovely family...

Amazing customer service. The food was excellent, tasty hot and the presentation was awesome! I would visit again and again the family loved it. A real family place with a friendly owner and team.

ELAF is amazing, we were presented a personalised grand platter with my fathers name on it, followed by candles and sparklers which made his birthday special and truly one to remember. Not to mention the complimentary soup, baqlawa and tea ! we are so impressed...

It’s wonderful having dinner at Elaf loved the food especially serving the platters sitting is limited but manageable clean and cosy

Lovely fresh food and good value for money. Portions are a decent size and a nice variety. We were too full for dessert but hopefully next time.

Fantastic Food and Great Host, we booked for 30 people and ordered the grand specials, some starters etc. I cannot fault the food in this place at all. They know their stuff. The Grande special has everything in it. The hummus was lovely and soft...
