Came here for lunch. Service was very quick, food was delivered within 10 minutes of entering. I had the el pastor tacos. I felt that although the flavours were good the meat was quite dry and not as great as similar tacos I have had elsewhere. It was an ok lunch with no major issues, but I’m not enthused to come again

The food was ok - some interesting flavours but almost every dish was dry. Overpriced and surprised El Pastor (as a whole) is on the guide. Service was not good - a lot of downtime between dishes in a quiet restaurant and confusion about what we had ordered. You can get much better tacos elsewhere.

This place provides great serve and quality! The menu offers plenty of choices. Well worth a visit if you like Mexican food!

Food is great. But they really do sneakily rip you off with a subtle “do you want some guacamole, chips and salsa dips?”. In any Mexican restaurants, these items are either free or very cheap. But they come to almost £20 pounds here. Shame on you El Pastor.

Food and cocktails were enjoyable. However, service was poor. The waiter seemed to have no real understanding of the menu and did not engage with us and made our experience super awkward.

We were looking for somewhere for a pre theatre meal, gong to see Moulin Rouge, came across this lovely Mexican. Great atmosphere, lovely decor. I chose steak quesadillas, my daughter chose the tacos, we also ordered the guacamole and nachos. The meal was lovely and we really enjoyed it, we had a drink as well. Not too expensive considering your in London, cost £57 for the two of us including tip. Would highly recommend, the staff were brilliant, very attentive.

Really disappointed by our experience. Expensive, small portions and most of food was tepid and a couple of dishes were just plain boring. Waiting staff were impossible to hear as music too loud for their voices. Venue is aesthetically pleasing and great location but in our opinion not worth the £££z

We had a great Saturday lunch with friends. Service was excellent. Food was very special and would go again.. it’s pricy but worth it.

Came here for an early tea with friends on a Thursday evening, was pretty full early on so nice atmosphere although the ground floor room has high ceilings so felt a bit cavernous. Enjoyed the food, I took the quesadilla which was good and guacamole excellent. Margarita’s nice but at over £10 each and not that big, 6 later added to the bill quickly! Wine was nice too.

Booked online and restaurant were accommodating about request for highchair and space for buggy. Warm friendly reception at the door and general atmosphere of the place has a good vibe. The food itself was tasty enough but all felt the portion sizes felt a bit small for the price, so didn’t feel like we were getting good value for money. But we were in Soho so is to be expected I guess!

Excellent! We were lucky to be seated from a walk in, eat, drink and pay while still having 10 minutes to walk around the corner to the theatre - delicious Mexican food and an amazing virgin pina colada! Will definitely return.

We’ve been twice, once at this soho venue and the food was excellent and once couple of months ago at coals drop yard. This will be our last time though. Had a nice table upstairs and told we had the table for 1.5hrs. Service was quick and order was taken immediately, although would have preferred a drink first we just ordered at the same time thinking drinks would come out first. We ordered the guacamole and chips for starters and then the carnitas sharing plate (having had the short ribs sharing plate twice before). The main course came out before the drinks and starter. We questioned this (and drinks then arrived ) but told the guacamole (which is under starters on the menu) comes out at the same time as the main meal ?? So bearing in mind tortillas don’t stay warm too long (even in the pack ) and the guacamole is cold anyway we just accepted it. However it wasn’t really the point. We had been walking around London 10 hrs and this was first time we had eaten since a crossaint earlier in the day. We wanted to sit have a drink with the corn chips and guacamole and then have the mains. We honestly didn’t think we had to make that clear. Anyway we continued so as not to make a fuss. Have to say the pork sharring ‘platter’was a very small portion to share for £30! The small corn tortillas must cost pence to make, and then we had a very small thimble sized pot of salsa (we think) a small dish of chopped onion and herbs and another thimble sized portion of what just looked like one piece of a sliced carrot (the slice of carrot just about fitted flat in the pot so you get an idea of how big the pots were) no explanation of what was in the pots. We had to ask and it was called pickle. Anyway no one came around to ask if we wanted more chips for the guacamole or tortillas and when we asked they took a while to come out bearing in mind again they must have a stack in the kitchen as this is all the menu consists of. (Menu says they are made fresh by them in another London venue if theirs) so they aren’t made at the actual restaurant. It was underwhelming and very overpriced, more of a fast food with the frills of a restaurant. Sad as the previous sharing platter was plentiful. Cost cutting not sure but burnt a hole in our pocket and wouldn’t go back. Better Mexican restaurants serving a wider variety of food in London

quality of salsa was very good and certainly food tasted authentic . Good gesture of serving nachos on the house and for sure Michelada was amazing and did not expected similar Mexican taste back in London . concept is set around sharing and pork carnitas as main course , along with tacos as starters made this Mexican experience overwhelmingly joyful . Anyone looking to have this kind good experience without going to Mexico must come to this place .

On Saturday the 3rd to El Pastor localized in Soho!! I came with 3 friends. It was my friend Avinash b-day and so we decided to celebrate in Pastor Soho! The food was amazing!!! Really good highly recommend!! But what really made our night was the service!!! We were received by two lovely girls in the entrance that one of them took us to the basement of the restaurant, where we were welcomed by 2 amazing gentleman's!! This w waiters were amazing 👏 never had such good service in London!! Our main waiter was just amazing with all jokes that made us cry of laughing, with his kindness of singing happy birthday to my friend!! Me and my friends and I, when we were leaving, just wanted to hug those two boys! Pastor team, a a big thank you for everything that you thought to this, boys!! They are going to be great in this restaurant!!!

I love Mexican food and this experience definitely did not disappoint! The pork tacos were especially delicious and it was a very well balanced menu. The staff were lovely.
