El Faro in Leeds

Hadn't been here for several years but glad to see it hasn't changed one bit. Probably one of the best pizzas in Leeds. Thin, crispy pizza cooked in an actual oven, and quality ingredients. Two 12" pizzas 2 chips, 1 garlic bread and 2 bottles of pop for 22 schmickles. Sadly had to knock of 1 star for the most recent order. Chips were raw

After living here for around 8 years, I've just discovered this place. Honestly one of the best pizzas in the area and quite affordable.

Had 2 takeaways from here in last couple of months and it was faultless. The 2nd time we went to collect and its such a cute space. The staff seemed to take real pride in what they were doing and it was very clean. What's more, the pizzas are awesome! Cripsy base. Fresh ingredients. Just really good. Great value too. 2 pizzas, 1 garlic bread and 2 chips was £22.

used to have good food, declined in quality and is now more expensive following a price hike across the menu. Food no longer worth the money now. Their competitors down the road are better.

Classic takeaway style pizza, very well priced and always really nice! Would give a 5 for the food alone but we've ordered delivery a couple times and the food has been around 1h30 when it's expected to be 45 minutes. Consistently around that much time and arrives piping hot, which is strange? For collection which we started doing instead, the food has been ready in ~15 minutes which is what it says online too, i'd def give it a go if you remember to order in advance or are happy picking it up!

Food was great. Definitely something to order again. Donner Kebabs and chips with chili sauce. Sauce had depth and flavour 👌

Excellent food, excellent service and I always enjoy sitting down to watch the TV and have a chat with them. Sometimes can forget details on the orders but apart from that it's top notch.

Over the months el Faro kebabs have become total rubbish they are very dry could be re cooked meet and SMALL even the large are small we were avid customers looking elsewhere now.

Been ordering from here for years, the place is literally always open, so consistent, pizza always tastes great, never had a bad meal (and I’ve had many) and all is exactly as described. Great pizza, great food, fast delivery. Couldn’t rate it higher.

Great takeaway pizza in Burley Park. There's probably not much in the area that compete with the options. This place has been a staple of LS4 for over two decades.

Absolutely amazing food, you can tell the pizza is made fresh. This is my new favourite pizza place and will miss living so close. Would definitely recommend giving it a try!

Always fresh great quality and fast delivery

I'm never disappointed when I order from El Faro - pizza dough is fresh stretched, crispy and delicious, toppings are generous and tasty, and the dudes serving are just solid. It's a Burley Park gem, can't rate it more highly.

The owners of El Faro have been cooking me pizzas for nearly twenty years and I'm yet to find a pizza anywhere in the world as good as theirs.

The food from here is always great and it’s my go to but they seriously need to sort out their customer service. I live in a 3 storey shared house on the top bedroom so whenever I order I ask them to call me when they arrive or I won’t hear it. It’s not a hardship. I’ve just had some food delivered and they did not call and also had a go at my housemate who answered the door about needing a doorbell. It’s appalling and it makes me reconsider continuing to order from here.

Used to live opposite this place 13 years ago and ate there frequently. By far the past pizza place in Leeds. I came back to see if it was good as I remember all those years ago and it did not disapoint! Still number 1!

Perfect food and perfect service. Very welcoming and for those who speak little Spanish the waiters and bar staff are very very good with English.

I have been going here for the past Ten years or so. This is one excellent little takeaway, the staff are friendly and the food is superb. The pizza's are the best in Leeds and the price is very good for the quality of the pizza's. The 50/50 Pizzas are my favorite from here, and if you dare the 16" pizza, that's a beast. I would recommend this takeaway to anyone North side of Leeds. The delivery service is fast and a great delivery driver. 10/10 all day long. Please try this place and find out how good this place really is for yer sen's.

12/10 sat and served straight away, outside dining area is beautiful and the food is one of the best I’ve had in Tenerife. Would highly recommend the burger or steak👌🏼

The pizza wasn't good at all. It tasted alot like cardboard. I would say its the worse food. But you can clearly tell the dough wasn't fresh.

Really lovely Tuna, anchovies, black olive and pran pizza with a fresh salad and chips. Delivery great pizza hot and everything else lovely. Always a great take away don't hesitate to try.

Been going here years as have family, used to be best pizza around but recently the pizza toppings have been replaced for cheap disgusting alternatives especially the Salami ham and pepperoni 🤢🤢🤢, maybe new owners but lies told such a shame... why fix whats not broken???

After 6 years of subpar takeaways in Leeds. I decided to search through Reddit for the best pizza in Leeds and I came across El Faro. Let me just say that El Faro is leaps and bounds ahead of any 'takeaway' pizza shop. Can't recommend enough.

I'd ordered from them before and wasn't 100% happy with the food, but they really made it up to me last night - the food was AMAZING, the delivery driver was lovely and the owner really went out of his way to turn my bad experience into a good one. Wow just amazing. Long story short we actually ordered by mistake something happened on a page I was actually ordering from rang up to explain the situation as not been local knew there was no chance of getting the food. After speaking with them and explaining they very very kindly offered to deliver to us. The food was better than any of our local takeaways. So thank you so so much you made a stressful situation a success with all the family. If we are ever in your area we will defo be eating from here

Awesome stone-baked pizzas. Nice and friendly staff. Reasonable prices. It really worthy. Strongly recommend. We ordered their new flying duck deep pan, and normal elfaro meat special. the best pizza I've had in Leeds.. We ordered Chicken strips and cheese burgers aswell. They gave us a bottle of wine for free because of putting phone order over £35 cash paid. A big surprise xxx Thanxxx elfaro

Have been using these guys for over 10 years from different parts of Leeds. The food always arrives hot and is IMO the best in the area. Propper 12 inch Pizzas with quality ingrediants every time. The reviews with low ratings seem to have had a delivery problem, which I can say I haven't had from multiple Leeds areas, these people should try them again, and so should you.

I've recently found this local takeaway pizza shop. I'm so picky about food. I really loved the quality of pizza crust. Then I found that they make the dough freshly everyday and bake it on the stone. You pay reasonably for a stone baked high quality pizza. I also loved the chips. I'm not a fan of kebabs, but my husband ordered doner kebab and loved it aswell. I would strongly recommend it. 😊

One of the best pizzeria in Leeds! Pizzas taste very good, very fresh ingredients, not greasy, good size and reasonably cheap, very nice owner and staffs, and quick delivery. Also you could pay by card if you decide to pay at delivery, awesome! Definitely recommend it!!

I’ve lived in a few different parts of Leeds and tried all kinds of different pizzas in the decade or so that I’ve lived here. El Faro make the best 👌🏼 It’s a shame they’re not taking orders anymore!

Pizza amazing, chips a bit dry, delivery time however really let it down. I ended up going to bed as it took over an hour and a half to arrive.

Wouldn’t recommend ordering from this place , ordered a pizza which weren’t too bad but very standard tasting nothing special , and got a donner kebab and the meat were white in places , very undercooked , and when I rang about it the guy on the phone was rude , saying that they’ve never had any complaints about the kebabs and couldn’t do nothing about it , then hung the phone up straight away , the driver was rude also

Why ask for the customers Postcode at the start? When i added, it gave me the green tick. Placed my order to only get a call saying they have cancelled my order as it was outside of the delivery zone. Pointless feature.

Great place, consistently good pizza

One star only because staff are polite. I ordered online twice and they messed up with my order each time. First time they forgot about my extra toppings ( the min for delivery is £8, So I had to add extra topping) and last night they sent my pizza to another customer (50-50 Pizza) and I v ended up with a greasy deep pan salami pizza! Staff was polite over phone and offered me to send another pizza over but I was already waited 40mins, so, I rejected the offer.

Been going here for more than 10 years. Staff refused to give extra sauce and had the audacity to argue and try charge and then say “we don’t want your business” all because we questioned why charging for extra sauce on an already ordered item that included it. Obviously have zero appreciation for their long standing customers. Never again. This place when we went back to get the refund in this instance was unclean, rubbish outside and vermin running around. They say things happen for a reason. AVOID.

Delicious takeaway pizza!!! Even on weekends you don't have to wait long for your pizza to be ready to collect or delivered. We've done both numerous times and find it speedy. Pizza's are always spot on and pricing is great. Very cheap in comparison to other takeaways in the area, but this isn't reflected in the quality.

Delicious pizza at good price. Really nicely made thin base and perfect flavours, never disappoints! Delivery takes an hour, you may prefer to pick it up. Also, when ordering from the website you get a discount, so better that than using Just Eat.

Great pizzas for a really reasonable price. So much better than the usual greasy takeaway pizza. Also if you book through their website and you can save 15%.

El faro should be called el fairo. I ordered on Tuesday and accidentally paid twice. My fault. Unaware of this I go in to get my order today and they told me and gave me the money back. On top of this they got my irritatingly specific customised order perfect. Good, honest food. Thank you el fair faro!

As a family we ordered several things from the menu including,Pizzas,Garlic bread,Burger and Fries.All which were delivered very quickly,all piping hot and tasted great,especially the pizza. Worth a visit

Ordered a 50/50 pizza whilst staying up there last week. Probably one of the most bland and tasteless pizzas ive ever had. This was after reading the reviews aswell. There must be some very deluded people if they think this is very good. Should try elsewhere is my recommendation. Had 3 slices and threw the rest away.

Really great pizza, we've moved out of the area but after trying a few local places we've gone back to El Faro's. The pizza isn't greasy, the toppings are fresh and is well seasoned with herbs. Lovely tomato sauce on the base.

Definitely above average quality for takeaway pizza, but in my opinion not as good as the street food pizza offered by Pizza Fella, Dough Boys, Ecco and at Water Lane Boathouse, some of which are in the same price range and taste fresher. I think they could have a sneaky peek at what those businesses are doing and refresh their range (intended as constructive criticism!) It's a decent place to sit and watch TV while you wait, staff are friendly and its a rare in-the-know place for Burley. Happily recommend going.
