Rustica in Leeds

Went to visit a friend of mine in Leeds and he recommended me this lovely place to eat. Food was so delicious..Thank You Guys

Under new ownership. Very friendly and attentive service. Food was delicious. Can recommend the calamari, the Meatlover pizza, and the special chicken dishes. Good value for money. Would definitely go back. Wish them every success.

The pizzas are great! The dough is really good. I wouldn't recommend the pasta for a number of reasons but it's one guy working on his own, making everything from scratch and tending to front-of-house so I appreciate his efforts.

Very yummy pizza, the pizza had a nice seasoning in it and the sauce was very nice and not overcomplicated. I will definitely be trying more when I have a bigger appetite. I came in during a pretty dead hour so it was just the one staff member, he was very nice and helpful. If you're wanting a nice place to sit and have a nice pizza I will recommend you give rustica a visit whilst youre In the area!

I loved the foood and honestly the chips were 10/10 and the customer service was a lot 10/10. We ordered rustica special pizza which was honestly sooo soo good. Definitely recommend :)

Nice pizza, with thin edge and crust.

Came here on the off chance, we had been to a gig and was in need of a hearty meal. Got the pesto pasta chicken and a bbq pizza. Polite service, was quiet when we went in which was nice. Food ordered at the till and bought over. £28 for 2 meals a side and two drinks, can’t complain!

The food was amazing, and the classic music was so good, was really relaxing when I had my meal, and really matched the style of the restaurant, but recently changed the style of the music 🥲

The pasta was some of the worst pasta I’ve ever had in my life. I could have bought ingredients from Tesco and made better pasta myself for less than half the cost of this meal.

Interesting place right next to Parkinson Building. A restaurant with a variety of options with good price! The food taste very good and the staff are super friendly. They have some vegan options which are all pretty tasty. You can also find them on JustEat. The food tastes as good as when it is fresh in the restaurant!

Been discovering different restaurants around Leeds for 2 years now and this place had some of the best + most fresh burgers / pizza I've ever had.

Pay nearly £8 a burger for a “Rustic Burger” and a “Buffalo Burger” - Both turn up exactly the same, plain burger and cheese with some sauce thrown on top. Absolute disgrace, especially when the driver notes that Rustica had not even started to cook the order when he had arrived. Very disappointed and can’t even contact the restaurant to get a replacement.

Delicious burgers and great milkshake.

The burger was very dry (had American cheese burger) and the milkshake was probably the worst milkshake I’ve ever had. It was semi flavoured milk topped with whipped cream. If I wanted milk I would have poured myself some of the milk I have at home and saved myself £3.50. The chips were very nice though. Will not order from here again.

Proper fresh ingredients, cooked really well, make all the difference. All packaging can be recycled. I may never cook again, lol

It has a Nutella calzone. Gotta give it 5/5 for that alone. Decent prices and really good food!

This is very much a takeaway that has seats as opposed to a restaurant that does take out food. I was incredibly impressed with the pizza - it was fresh, tasty, and made to order. I had a garlic bread alongside, however, and that was too greasy for my liking. I was offered no form of napkin which would have proven incredibly useful given the combination of greasy garlic bread and a flour base pizza - this simple change may well have tipped it up another star. I'd get pizza from there again but I'd consider the take away option next time.

I have been to this intimate family restaurant over 5 times and I am yet to have any form of dissatisfaction. I have tried most of the menu but I love the chicken waffle burger the most (Beef isn't far off-pic below). The customer service is always brilliant.

Pizza size not the biggest, but good quality.

Food was over 40 mins late (which I'm not too mad about considering the current circumstances) but it arrived stone cold. Had to whack it in the oven and the garlic bread which was already on the verge of being burnt did not live to tell the tale. My pizza did however live to tell the tale and was quite nice but won't be willing to take this risk again.

Visited in a large group of around 15 people. You go and order at the counter, for such a large group we didn't mind this and it allowed us to pay individually saving time and hassle at the end of the meal. Food was very tasty, pizza's, burgers, panini's were good. The chicken waffle burger looked incredible! Food took around 20-30 minutes to be served. The staff kept checking if everything was ok with our food and it was good. Would recommend for couples or small groups. Can't comment on the takeaway service.

Very dissatisfied waited 40 mins for our drinks ( tea coffee and diet coke) and only got them after having to request a second time over an hour before we got our food which was cold there was no cutlery on table I asked for some and was told they would bring some then had to ask again after a further 10 mins. The toilet had huge fungi growing out of the floors on the whole a very poor experience

Always late to prepare food. Every single time if they say it'll 5minutes, you can expect 15-20 and it goes on proportionally

Food was amazing, the service from the cute chef Ahad was also amazing. He was so polite and worked really hard, He was great company too. Overall service was great, food was even better, worth every penny

I stopped for lunch here with my partner on 22/07/19 and was very disappointed. Really slow service - it took 40 minutes for the latte which came out with two paninis (which also took 40 minutes!). The food wasn’t great either, I ordered the meatball panini which barely had any meatballs in and was rather tasteless - completely lacking sauce so was very dry too. My partner wasn’t fussed by his meal either, again lacking in taste! I think the worst part was when I decided to use the toilet only to find a used sanitary towel near the sink that had been left so long it had moulded. We quickly left and definitely won’t be returning, think we’ll nip across the road to cafe Nero next time.

Decided to eat here as it was near our hotel for the night on our way through. Located in the university district of Leeds. The pizzas were really good, fresh and had a nice thin crust which is what l like. We would go back here for sure. The restaurant does not serve any alcohol but they do pick up take away.

Tastiest and cleanest food you’ll find in all of Leeds

Improvement on the last visit. Food was fine but not enough filling and far too much bread in the panini. Pizza tasted good and the chips were great. Plus - it was ready when we arrived.

Friendly staff and tasted good but it took 40 minutes instead of the 20 it was supposed to and when it arrived it only had about 3-4 meatballs. All dough, not enough filling. Also, we ordered a milkshake to have whilst we waited and that took 35 minutes to make. We ended up eating and having to sit and wait for the milkshake. Not very well organised at all.

Visited here for the first time one lunch with a friend. You pay at the till when you place your order. I opted for the chicken and bacon pasta with a garlic and cheese bread. The pasta was cold (but meant to be hot), the bacon was burgundy in colour and the chicken was minimal at best. It was in some sort of tomato based sauce, but it was just disgusting. Told the waitress, but she just took the (full) bowl and walked off - did not offer anything in return. Garlic bread was okay, but you could barely taste the garlic. Won't be returning and won't be recommending - there are far better sandwich shops from which to get a delightful lunch.

Lovely little fast food restaurant, comfortable furnishings. Very reasonable prices, friendly staff - falafel and halloumi burger with fries and a cream soda is a favourite but the pizzas and other burgers and fab too. Crispy’s could never!

Staff were kind and very welcoming, but food was extremely disappointing; although the pizza looked nice, we all went for chicken meals. The chicken was dry and unseasoned; the most was a bunch of black pepper. I had chicken skewers; I beg you not; I literally got one chicken skewer. But as someone who works in hospitality, I didn’t want to be a pain and complain as it was busy. The chips are amazing however, I do believe that if I were to go again I’d try out the pizza but definitely never the chicken on its own.

I got a pizza via delivery through just eat (I realise that there’s a review option on there, but since the restaurant was closed it wouldn’t let me review) I ordered 2 pizzas and 4 dips at 8-10 on a Sunday and it didn’t arrive until 9-45! The pizza was totally stone cold, the pizza base was like chewing already chewed chewing gum, totally inedible, the chips looked like the leftovers from the night before...burnt, covered in oil and generally awful, to top it off my sauces didn’t arrive! I contacted just eat and as an apology from them, they gave me full refund however I don’t see if fair that Just Eat should have to compensate the services from this shambles of a restaurant. When I try to ring the restaurant to ask where my order was there was no answer. Without doubt the worst takeaway experience I have had in Leeds.

The food was nearly cold when it arrived the sweet potatoe fries were soggy and cold on top of the 1 1/2 hour wait to wait an extra 45 mins was a joke they said a driver had gone home early and wasnt very apollogetic the driver nearly missed giving me half my order ! Usually have veey good food from here but this time it was awful !! Will think twice before ordering again for the price !!

Food was 45 minutes late - rung the restaurant twice to check, and though the man on the other end was helpful, the first time I rang he said it was 10 minutes away when it was actually another half hour. When the food did eventually arrive it was stone cold, though it was tasty after we'd reheated it. They also missed one of the items - we only ordered 4.

Wandered over as was at the university for a day. It's a pleasant, fairly cheap and cheerful place - very clean and nice decor. I had a chicken salad and sweet potato fries, was really pleased that I didn't have to add any seasoning. Although the staff looked a little bored, they really know how to prepare food! The calzone was phenomenal and the rest of the menu looked good from what I saw on other tables. When you go, get the Oreo Milkshake - pure indulgence. Cash only - but bank machine a few doors down.

Milkshake tasted amazing, however the classic veggie burger tasted very poor and bland. Was hoping for a soy or tofu burger instead of mashed up vege. The pizza was good but expensive for the size.

Ordered after reading good reviews but didn't like the food.

Rustic again with the outstanding quality. Today I tried thier chicken strip and fish burgers, both were absolutely delicious. They also gave me a can of coke and garlic bread for free, that tells me how much they appreciate thier customers.

Ordered burger and chips separately, but burgers come with chips (which is not clear on the website). Not a problem (never going to turn down chips) ... except that the chips were under-cooked slices of potato. I have selected 5 minutes later for the delivery question .. but actually they were 35 mins later than expected. Website advised 45-60min wait .. which was fine, but the email advised 90mins. the restaurant did then call to check this was OK - so no negative marks for that. Burgers themselves were lukewarm and not particularly tasty (hence 3 stars)

The classic burger was alright, though I was not aware crunchy salad includes pickles and onions. Please specify the ingredients of the salad in the menu (I do not eat pickles). The fries were splended but the Ferrerro Rocher milkshake was rather too warm to be served, I would rather have it cooler (ice temperature) next time.

Food for 7 people was delivered in 30 minutes! You would think food cooked in a rush like that would be of lesser quality but NO! everything was absolutely delicious and perfect. My guests were fully satisfied, there's no leftovers for tomorrow👍👍👍👍👍
