Rudy's Neapolitan Pizza in Leeds

We came to Rudy's on Saturday lunchtime without a booking but were shown to a table straight away. Romario, our waiter, was incredibly friendly and helpful! Our pizzas came very quickly and were delicious.

I went there to eat pizza even i can see many place but still the team member told me to wait for 45 min and if someone is hungry to let them wait for 45 min to get a chair. Rudy is my favourite place but not in city centre

Absolutely delicious pizza and burrata salad, and I can highly recommend the sour cherry aperol spritz! Alex was our server and he was so friendly and welcoming. 5 ⭐ across the board!

This was my first visit to a branch of Rudy's, and I was surprised by how busy it was - early on a Monday evening and the place was packed, which made it rather noisy. I was seated at the bar around the kitchen area and served quickly. I was a little disappointed by how few vegetarian options there were on the menu but chose a special which was extremely tomatoey, but nice. Personally I prefer the thinner, Roman style pizzas to Neapolitan ones with a thick, puffy crust like Rudy's offer, but that's just a preference. Service was quick and friendly - the pizza seemed to arrive about two minutes after I'd ordered it. All in all it was an enjoyable meal, but the pizza was a little disappointing when I'd heard such good things about Rudy's in the past.

Pizza was delicious as always, and the tiramisu is just the best. Our waitress was lovely, and Steven was really kind and helpful!

En primer lugar nos dijeron que no había reserva, finalmente concedió y acordó que había, por lo que, todo fue cuesta abajo desde ese punto. Nos dirigieron al bar y nos dijeron que esperáramos allí, ya que nuestra mesa no estaba lista y que solo la tendríamos durante 90 minutos. No nos dieron un menú y el miembro del personal que había tratado con nosotros desapareció. Había una mesa para cinco personas, así que después de 10 minutos preguntamos si podíamos sentarnos en ella y nos dijeron "no", ya que solo éramos cuatro. En ese momento había seis mesas preparadas para cuatro con solo dos clientes y tres mesas preparadas para seis con menos de seis sentados a su lado. Eventualmente después de 20 minutos y sin señales de estar sentado y haber visto a otros clientes entrar en el local y ser mostrado directamente a una mesa. Después de plantear la cuestión con el personal fueron finalmente mostrados a una mesa con un ambiente tenso entre nosotros y el personal. Pedimos comida que llegó bastante pronto después de pedir (pero ¿era esto para deshacerse de nosotros?) y tenemos que decir que las pizzas no eran nada especial bastante promedio de hecho. No es una experiencia agradable en absoluto. Nuestro tratamiento inicial golpeó el borde de una buena noche anticipada. A menos que las cosas hayan mejorado, no sería clientelar en el futuro.

Had a lovely lunch here yesterday- Hannah our server was so friendly and smiley. Helped us to choose pizza and recommended the aioli which was so so delicious. Definitely coming back!

Tenía dos cervezas, un refresco, tres pizzas, una ensalada de acompañamiento, dos tiramisú y un brownie - la cuenta llegó a £ 83. 10 , además dimos un consejo aparte. Vaya, qué comida - probablemente la mejor pizza que habíamos comido más el mejor tiramisú y brownie que habíamos comido también - realmente increíble. El servicio era de primera categoría, nos atendieron por Mika que era muy amable y eficiente. El lugar tenía una sensación muy agradable y estaba claramente muy profesionalmente dirigido y era muy elegante. Sin duda volvería a comer aquí de nuevo y lo recomendaría 100%. Vinimos a comer y estaba muy ocupado, así que recomendaría reservar. Gracias Rudys.

I've been visiting Rudys for a few years but feel the quality and customer service is taking a dive. There's hardly any vegetarian options and the menu is confusing because of the type of cheese they use.. it makes more sense on the website but it's a limiting nightmare for someone with dietary needs. Staff are friendly but service is quite slow. The staff seem to be able to wear what they want so blend in with customers making it difficult to get anyone's attention. I would recommend and visit again but as a brand or dining experience, it is not as strong as it once was. It is extremely popular and busy so you MUST book to avoid disappointment.

Came ones so far and it was fantastic, no one rushed us we were left to drink and eat in peace we are returning today in the evening at 9pm, if it goes well again we will be coming here every week end

This place is one of the best Pizza restaurants and they make the regular pizzas a bit out there so kids can try something new while having what they like. The service here couldn’t have been more perfect. The atmosphere had a relaxing friendly vibe to enjoy a chat and a pizza. Lucy was incredible. Her knowledge of the pizzas help so much to know if it’s spicy or includes of any allergy’s. This was an incredible experience and so good I can’t thank them more. 100/10 recommendations.

4-star only because the vegetarian options felt very limited. But but I loved the pizza, the thin and authentic tomato sauce was cherry on top. Perfection. Mouth watering. That’s two words I can say. The cheese melts in the mouth and the taste was on point. Also, I had asked for some chilli flakes (to spice it up), tasted even better I guess than the normal one i guess. I had ordered ‘Nduja Ortolana since it had some veggies on top. 1 pizza is enough for 2. I packed up rest of the pizza back home. So coming back to our order: Pizzas: ‘Nduja Ortolana (veg/vegan), Triple Pepperoni, Salami Drinks: Bramble Berry Spritz, Apple juice My friends loved the Salami Pizza so do give it a try! I missed the fresh bread that I was used to at other Italian places I have been to. But great service and vibe here. I also liked the open kitchen concept, adds to the vibe with the music playing in the background.

Went last night with my work for a meal out, the staff were amazing and the food was great! Even got to try their orangelo made by local artisans in Leeds. Will definitely come back with my partner and dogo. ❤️

We visited Rudy's as a group of six of us and got seated last minute, ON A SATURDAY! The staff were so accommodating and kind and the downstairs seating was so nice and intimate. The staff Tino and Hannah were super helpful and friendly and provided us with top quality service. We had such a lovely night spent with friends and that's thanks to such a lovely staff team at Rudy's.

I love this place. It was heaving busy on a late December evening, but the staff still made a great effort to make us feel welcome and get us a drink and starters at the bar, We had an hour wait but really enjoyed the hour or so during which we had starters and wine at the bar. The food was fantastic - have never had a bad meal here. The service was great. The bill was very reasonable. I’ll be going back again!

Fantastic place to grab a pizza. Very very tasty (we had marinara and triple pepperoni) at a good price and the vibes are immaculate. Lovely presentation of the restaurant and staff were friendly too. Perfect laid back and relaxed dinner. Very clear procedure and information for dietary requirements and allergies too!

Our booking was for 8pm and had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seated, then had to order drinks before we were allowed to order food. Our food came about 50-60 minutes after we arrived. The staff seemed really stretched and stressed.. there were 2 chefs working to produce food for 50+ people paying £10-15 per Pizza. This is what you get in late stage Capitalism - but I'm not denying the Pizzas were exceptional

We went here on a busy Saturday night the restaurant has a great vibe, excellent customer service and friendly staff. The pizzas we all had were excellent and I will definitely go back when I'm next in Leeds

Order 3 pizzas home delivery,for the last 3 orders they had been very stingy with the ingredients I paid extra 2.50 to add ham twice. As you can see in the photo I got two small pieces and half. Really disappointed, because the quality of the ingredients is amazing, but the cut corner with ingredients it is abuse, specially because they are not cheap.

What a meal !!! Arrive and was told a 25 minute wait, was shown the bar and requested red wine which was running short but found a couple of bottles thank god 😂😂👍🏻 , starter of milky cheese was heavenly and had us chatting about it for a good 10 minutes. The pizza was spicy but again hit the spot, we followed with dessert of ice cream with espresso OMG took me back to Italy. The service and food was as five star, so as a big thank you to the pot wash, cooks and service staff a £200 tip was left for the overall great work these guys are doing. Overall I would recommend 6 stars out of 5 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 email on the way to head office. Enjoy your year new guys and your tip, you deserve it.

Had a Rudy’s takeaway the other week via Uber eats and from no fault of Rudy’s, it did arrive cold due to the driver taking on another job on the way to our house however I cannot even complain because even stone cold this pizza was unreal, honestly😂 we were gonna heat it up using the instructions on the box (very helpful by the way) but we really couldn’t stop eating so there was nothing to heat up in the end so that has to be good thing😂 thanks Rudy’s, we’ll definitely visit the restaurant next time we’re by the station👏🏼

Great pizza let down by awful service! Train your staff. We arrived at 8 for a booking and our table wasn’t ready. Asked to wait at the bar, no problem. Sat down at the bar. Bar man apologised for being busy and said he would be right with us. Just about to order and drink and got taken to our table. If you are going to get us to sit at the bar at least give us time to get given a drink! Waitress eventually came over to our table after another 5 minutes. We asked to order our food (as we had 10 minutes already to look at the menu) and she told us: ‘wait until your drinks arrive’. Drinks arrived and we were allowed to order. One item was sold out and I asked for the same pizza with a different topping. It was literally a case of ‘computer says no’! I couldn’t order it because it had been ‘taken off the menu’. Seriously just offer a substitute to one of the toppings. Food was excellent, but I’ve never known a waitress with worse timing. I think she managed to walk over and interrupt mid sentence every time she came over. Just pause for a couple of seconds to let people finish speaking. We were not rude and we were not going to ignore you. This sounds really ‘ranting’, so please look at my other reviews which are nearly always 5 star. I was very ‘polite’ and still left a tip, but seriously just offer some basic customer service training to your staff. Shame such good food was let down by the service.

Rudy’s never lets me down! We came in without a booking so we sat at the bar/kitchen seating area where they were making the pizzas and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the pizzas being made 🤩 Tasty pizzas and sauces although food was slow to come, will be back for delicious pizzas 🍕

Went in at 3pm on Friday with an friend after seeing the deal online. Immediately as we went in was met by coldness by the man at the host stand. We asked if they were still doing the deal and he replied with a snark comment of ‘the question is if we have any tables or if we have time to give you takeout’ which took me back. I then asked if he had any tables or if we were able to wait for one to which replied ‘yes we’re still doing it, but no we don’t have any tables till 6:15pm’ which was after the deal ended. He didn’t allow us to donate the toys anyway or give us the option for takeaway. I wouldn’t have been so taken back by this if I hadn’t let the two people in front of us wait for a seat.

Really really good pizza. Probably the best pizza I've had to date! The base was sensational. The chillie oil was also really lovely. No salt on the table, but they got me some quickly after requesting. Slow service, nothing spectacular Make a booking. It got busy.

Great pizza, sour wine (two of three red wines were sour). Overall decent service, except it stings a little seeing five waiters standing around but waiting ten minutes for a glass of wine. We also waited probably over 30 minutes before getting the bill. The food arrived quickly and was very good. Large portions, but you can box up leftover slices.

We've eaten here twice now. The first time was great. This time, my wife's pizza came with ham cheese and greens, plenty of toppings all spread out. Mine however came sparse and was practically a 1/3rd pizza with small crumbs of sausage, the rest nearly just plain tomato and cheese. When I mentioned it to the waitress she offered to either remake or provide a free dessert which I wasn't expecting and I cannot fault their customer service. It more than makes up for it. Thank you!

Cracking place for a nice pizza great atmosphere and service with a smile ! You really would have to go a long way to beat this for an all round great night out. We had pizza garlic bread with cheese which was delicious, caprese salad and spicy salami pizza a couple of drinks and it should have been £45 but they ran out of the usual salami so did not charge for the pizza … honesty integrity and service ! I wish there was more … thank you !!!

Unfortunately really don’t get the hype with this place, waited over an hour for an underwhelming pizza and found the manager rude. We went on a Wednesday evening and the place was steadily busy. We were all pretty hungry and we ordered a garlic bread for starter just to share between us 4, we quickly finished that and then we waited for our mains which took nearly an hour after our starters were finished to come. We asked where our pizzas were and were told 5 mins. We waited a further 15 and complained again saying we were past it now. The manager came over and said other people had got their pizzas first as they hadn’t ordered starters. Excuse us for ordering starters and spending more money! Equally we don’t expect to be waiting an hour for pizza. In the time we were waiting for our mains tables were seated, ordered and were nearly finished with their pizzas, i don’t expect to wait that long for a quick eat! The pizzas eventually came and were underwhelming, lacking in tomato sauce, toppings all in a pile where they were clearly made in hurry. I ate mine purely because I was starving but it was also burnt and others on our table left a fair bit, no further questions were asked when we said it was just ok. We did see numerous takeaway pizzas go out during our sitting and so I can only imagine the kitchen was overrun with those. Won’t be returning.

Couldn't look beyond triple pepperoni as an option on the menu. Delicious and great crusts. Slightly soggy middle of the pizza, but didn't really detract. Good side salads. Primitivo was a decent red, I thought. Affogato for pudding is always an excellent choice (with amaretto of course).

We tried Rudy's for the first time a week ago and I would say it was okay! The service was a tiny bit slow and my pizza was underwhelming flavour wise. My husband loved his though so you decide!

we booked a table for our wedding anniversary on Saturday,was asked to arrive 15 mins before otherwise our table would be released,we arrived earlier and asked to go.to the bar for drinks,I had a pint of lager,wife had a double vodka with diet coke,over half and hour later we were taken to our table,this was going on to around 8.15pm, table was booked for 7.30-9pm,we ordered starter,mains bottle of wine with our meal,end of the evening my wife paid the bill, following morning we realised that we had £25 of drinks on our bill and a -£17.70 staff birthday discount,we were celebrating a wedding anniversary not a staff birthday,I have since emailed the restaurant 3 times but had no reply..it will be a long time before we go back there for food... photo evidence below all starred.

We visited Rudys for the first time, I was with my parents and my little girl. We was served by a lady called Tino, who was very polite and helpful. We asked if they did a little ice cream for my 2 year old and when she brought the bill she said it was free. Thanks Tino, we will return.

I was taken here whilst visiting Leeds on a business trip and was described as the best pizza in Leeds, and I was not disappointed! The dough was delicious and not floppy like some pizza places. The ingredients were spot on and left me wanting more. Would definitely visit again if in Leeds again

Some of the best pizza around in Leeds. The crust was perfectly thin and overall delicious. Laid-back vibe and good atmosphere. May get a bit loud as it was busy, and there is all sorts going on with people at the bar, wtaff running around for service as well as delivery collections. Overall, great pizza.

Decidió cenar aquí temprano por la tarde (alrededor de las 2. 30 pm) para que pudiéramos conseguir una mesa. Servicio extremadamente pobre. Pedimos un entrante y chapuzones, nunca vinieron, no había personal en los alrededores para preguntar, tenía que ir y encontrar personal. Nadie nos preguntó si nuestra comida estaba bien. Nadie se molestó. El personal nos hizo sentir a mí y a mis dos hijas como si no fuéramos dignos de estar allí.

The pizzas are excellent. However, we waited nearly an hour to be served our food. Though the staff brought us olives and crisps to make amends.

Rudy's Pizza Napoletana is a must-visit for pizza lovers! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the authentic vibe and the warm welcome from the staff. They took the time to introduce the restaurant’s philosophy, focusing on traditional Neapolitan pizza made with high-quality ingredients. The crust was beautifully charred and perfectly chewy, made from a simple dough that’s left to rise for 24 hours. The tomato sauce was fresh and flavorful, and you could taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. The mozzarella di bufala was creamy and rich, really elevating the pizza. I appreciated the dedication to authenticity in both the cooking methods and the ingredients, making me feel like I was enjoying pizza straight from Naples. Overall, Rudy’s delivers an incredible pizza experience, and I can’t wait to go back for another slice!

Bit of a let down really, been trying to go for a few week after walking past and never having availability, managed to finally get booked in for 9pm, so hopes were high if it was this busy. The staff were lovely, couldn't fault them so no complaints, seating was good and didn't feel cramped. The wait for food also wasn't too bad to say how busy it was. Drinks were good too, no fruit cider but the Lemonade cocktail was a good substitute! The only issue is, the pizza wasn't good, by any stretch really. Very soggy base and lacked flavour. Really the key things you'd expect to be the main attraction of a pizzaria. Hope it was just a one off but it was disappointing.

Pizza was very good with high quality ingredients. NO ridiculous service charge was added to the bill which I thought was excellent.

The pizzas are lovely. The staff are very friendly. Just a shame that the last time I went that my pizza was a bit on the cool side with spoilt it a bit but I was hungry so I tucked in and ate most of it. They did give me a box to take what I couldn’t eat and I heated the next day in my air frier and it was delicious.

First visit yesterday can’t speak highly enough of the whole experience

First time we've ever been asked to vacate our table, despite offering to buy another bottle of Primitivo and there being two empty tables (three including our vacated one) after 8pm on a Wednesday! Don't bother with Rudy's. If you want to relax, rather than rush your meal, go to a Leeds Pizza restaurant that treats their customers with respect: Veeno, Franco Manca, Pizza Express, Pizza Pilgrim..... Very short sighted, penny wise, pound foolish policy at Rudy's.

Pizza is brilliant but service can be a bit slow or forgetful when busy. Also it tends to be quite loud. But it’s worth for the food! They have good offers on sometimes like the Negroni Month this September - so worth it!

Hannah was the best server ever. They even realised it was a special day to celebrate for me and brought us complimentary lominchello aperitif. What a delight the evening was, and the food was top notch.

This was quite possibly one of the worst pizzas I've had in my life. It was so incredibly sloppy and wet, that it had turned into a sludge you probably couldn't legally feed inmates in a prison. Triple Pepperoni apparently means three slices of Pepperoni. This one is a huge "avoid" for me and one of the more disappointing visits after some recommendations from colleagues.

Server was great but food arrived before drinks, so I think the bar staff were struggling, but is was a Saturday. Food was just as good at the one in Chaple A.

Best pizza in Leeds . So quick and the staff are very friendly. I will be back here to eat when I return to Leeds. I've been coming to Leeds a lot and was told about this Gem of a place.

Great pizza. Some unique and interesting toppings and went well with the garlic sauce. Not pictured was the tiramisu that was finished in about 10 seconds. I do recommend and would return if I was back in Leeds.

We were short on time so let the server know. They took our food and drink order within a couple of minutes and we got our food and drinks a few minutes later. Tasty pizza at Rudy's and friendly and fast service from the team, but terrible contact prior to our meal. I came here with a large party from work (17 in total) and they accommodated us wonderfully, we had a great time. However, it was more stressful for me than it should have been, as I did not receive any replies to multiple emails and either could not get through on the phone, or, when I left a message, did not receive a call back. I was told when making the booking (which was also difficult as I did not receive confirmation) to confirm exact numbers closer to the time, and that I'd need to preorder the pizzas if the numbers got too close to 20. I couldn't do either of these as I could not get in touch. I was contacted by email to give feedback on my visit, where I shared this, but also did not receive a response. I was charged for a drink we did not receive, but given the total inability to respond via normal methods, I might have to go in person to claim it back, not really worth the ~4 quid. Deducting 2 stars as we did all eventually have a nice time, but I wasted a lot of time trying to get hold of the team and would have appreciated some response. I would not recommend for a large party where this kind of contact is required!

Pizza was authentic and tasty, we all had margaritas or Tonno. Our waiter Morgan was attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

I absolutely LOVE Rudy’s pizza fabulous staff, great service and delicious pizza. Also serve great range of drinks and the desserts are also worth leaving space for. Does get very busy in the evening so worth booking.

Lovely atmosphere and lovely staff. The pizzas looked amazing. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because there was no salt in the dough which let the pizzas down which was a real shame. I will be back as I am pretty sure that this was just an accidental coincidence

Went with my friend on a thursday and despite the food being good as always, service was questionable and a few of the staff members put me off coming back. Two of the girls looked extremely angry and miserable, we were waiting half an hour for a bill and avoided asking around for it in thinking they would be annoyed or give us bad service- one was blonde with short hair and one brunette. seemed unapproachable hence why we waited so long and got the attention of a much nicer member of staff who brought us the bill and took our payments a few minutes afterwards. I have worked in hospitality myself and understand the stress and fluster of a big restaurant and loads of customers but i also learned to keep my cool and put a happy face on for a few hours until I get off shift. There is a branch closer to me and will be going to that one instead as staff have always been kind and seemed happy to help. Again, food was very nice and meal decent value.
