Rudy’s is a must go place for pizza lover. Food and staff are great, one of my favorite place to eat pizza outside from Italy!

Some of the best pizza in Leeds! If you've ever walked past Rudy's and smelt it, I can assure you it tastes as good as it smells! And the service is excellent!! Harry was particularly good to us especially as we were such a big group.

came here about 15 minutes before the kitchen closed on a busy saturday night, so wasn’t expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised! really lovely pizza and fast service, would definitely recommend.

When the greeter could be bothered to end their phone call, at 2pm they told us, with a half empty restaurant, and a straight face; “we have nothing available until 6pm”. We dined elsewhere, and didn’t have to deal with such stuck up staff, or worrying plastic porta-cabin airlocks. I can see other reviewers who suffered through it having to balance liking the food but also hating the service. No pizza is that good, get over yourselves Rudy’s.

Initial welcome was warm, drinks and food arrived swiftly, the waitress was quite serious (no smiles). The pizzas came highly recommended by a friend, however for us they were disappointing. Too wet, very soggy, great flavour but it seemed undercooked. The service after the food arrived was non existent, no follow up, and we had to approach staff to ask for the bill as we just couldn't get any attention. I won't write it off though as I do believe there can be off days for anyone or any establishment.

Absolutely love Rudys but our server ruined our whole experience today (06/04/24 at 13:30, table right in front of the door). She was visibly in a mood and made sure we knew it. First of all, when she came over to take our drinks order, she started asking us what we wanted before she even got to the table, her tone of voice was rude and we felt quite rushed which made me feel really uncomfortable and anxious. We had all ordered our drinks and I asked if we could order food as well since we were ready, she said “I’m gonna take your drink order first and then I’ll do the food” but with such an attitude, she asked me what I wanted to drink but I said I wanted water which is what I asked for in the beginning but I can understand why she might have thought I hadn’t ordered my drink as typically people will get water and a proper drink but she didn’t need to say it the way she said it, then she asked someone else what they wanted to drink but they had already told her. Then she said to me “now I’ll do the food”, again, in a rude way as if to be like, be patient. So I told her the pizza's that me and my partner wanted and she replied with “sorry?” (I should probably just say here, if you just imagine someone speaking really rude with an awful attitude every time I write what she said), anyway, so I had to repeat it which is fine but with how she dealt with taking my order, I felt sooo anxious the whole time which you would never imagine feeling that way in a restaurant. I don’t want to be that person but as someone who has worked in hospitality for so long, I could never speak to anyone like that, doesn’t matter what day I’m having or what my personality is actually like, you always be nice to nice customers which is what we were. When she brought the glasses for the water over to the table, she didn’t set them down nicely, she was still basically walking away when she placed them down and because she stacked them quite high, they were so close to falling over. It was just generally an unpleasant experience because of this server, she somehow had the ability to affect my mood so therefore it affected the whole experience. It was my family’s first time coming to Rudys as well so it wasn’t the best first impression for them. I will say though, on the other times I’ve been to Rudys, we have loved it so much and the service has always been great. _Server: small bob hair, bright blonde, oversized green top, facial expression - extremely moody._ Please please please work on your customer service because it’s just not nice or fair to ruin someone’s experience at a place they love.

Went to Rudy’s on the weekend. Was greeted by a friendly member of staff who took us to the bar whilst we waited. After being seated however no staff ask us for or order and I had to tell them we were ready. Our pizzas came very quickly (within 5 minutes) but had forgotten our drinks. The pizza its self was very good but not mind blowing, or something I would come back for. The tiramisu was beautiful but the portion was small. The seats were nice especially with a real candle burning between both of us and the noise level was at a point where you could have your own little conversations without anyone else hearing. The decor was really nice and it’s good to see they have real plants around rather than plastic. Overall the pizza was good but a-bit basic and slightly over priced as-well as very little options for toppings and for vegetarians.

was served by a lovely lady called leah so was so interactive and helpful and gave such a good recommendation for my boyfriend. the food was delicious and the quality of ingredients were amazing! would really recommend the speed of food and atmosphere was unreal!

Great Pizza, unfortunately found hair on it although we did not mind eating the pizza, the manager Alex kindly offered a refund and some complimentary goodies. Great customer service and did not leave disappointed. Will return again.

Pizza is good here, but the service let the place down, only because it took too long for our drinks to arrive (8 of us dining) and some of our food too. We ended up cancelling some drinks because they were taking so long to arrive. To be fair, the management recognised this before we even thought about mentioning it, and they credited our bill to compensate for the lack of service, which was very good of them. This is my second time here, and whilst I enjoyed my trip the first time, we (2 of us) had a disproportionately long waiting time (we were walk ins on an evening) for a table, when, we ended up sitting downstairs (which lacks the same atmosphere of the ground floor) in a room half empty. There was no way that area had been fully booked out whilst we were waiting 45 min as not THAT many people had left the restaurant in that time. So service here needs to be improved I feel but the food is lovely

Hands down the best pizza in Leeds! Exactly the same as I had in Naples, so go for it if you're in search of authentic Italian pizza! Loved the vibe of the place too, and the staff were lovely. Exceptional value for money. Can't wait to go back!

Ugh… wish I could give this more but the service is beyond poor. The food is sublime and it’s great value for money. The cocktails are also great but jees, the staff?! We were greeted with a snotty attitude, it took 30 minutes and 2 requests for them to send waiting staff over for them to even take our drinks. By that point we were ready to order food as well. We went on a Wednesday night at 4.45 as well, so not even peak time. When our order was eventually taken, our pizza then arrived before our drinks. We had to practically flag someone down and walk up to them to order second drinks. Then at the end of the night they added a service charge to the bill. I refused to pay it. What service? I won’t be returning unfortunately.

A fantastic pizza restaurant just off the beaten track (out skirts of main shopping area). Well worth a visit and the prices are cheaper than I had expected too. Definitely ranked in my top 5 pizza places to go so far and I've visited many around the country when on our short breaks.

Very Decent pizza. However we were seated downstairs which is a disgrace of a restaurant setting even in a casual dining sense. Think of a building site cabin and you get the idea.

This was the first time I'd been and it's now top of my list when back in Leeds. Everything was great, the pizza was incredible (I had vegan basil cheese sauce, broccoli and truffle oil, BF had some meat pizza that he also loved). We had an Aperol and amaretto sour (also both perfect, I'm always surprised at how many places still get a spritz wrong), and our server Keith was just ace. The atmosphere is great, couldn't fault anything!

First time visiting Rudys and have to say I was quite let down. Ordered pizza and it arrived late and then had an upset stomach the next day after it. The atmosphere for a pizzeria was very dull and felt quite stuffy. The staff working were helpful and made the experience a little better.

Reputation well deserved. Fantastic welcome and seated fairly swiftly without reservation. Fresh and tasty salad to start. Quality of product sourcing. Fabulous pizzas. Tiramisu was great dessert. Highly recommended all round.

Pizza was really nice staff where slow and we struggled to work out who actually worked there because they was no uniforms or work attire but best way to pick out the staff was ask the scruffy looking ones wearing tracksuit bottoms because they all seemed to work there was left without drinks for a while and we could of just walked out without paying we was sat for so long with our coats on waiting for the bill won't rush back

My go to Pizza place in Leeds. Beautiful aesthetics, very delicious Neapolitan style pizzas and nice selection of drinks.

Super fast service, everyone loved their pizzas but felt a little flat for me, would have been lovely to have a wider selection of dips just to add to the 2 options they have available. The chilli jam is just maple syrup with a sprinkle of chilly flakes.

I enjoyed my whole experience and would come back but I will avoid the Carne pizza. I know the meats are salty but it was salty to the extreme! I was hydrated and still woke up through the night with a dry mouth. Besides that the staff are lovely, they work very hard and are all polite. I’d go again but get something that’s hopefully less salty. The menu food names aren’t in English which I get because it makes it feel more authentic to Italy but that just means it’s hard work for us English who don’t speak other languages! I had to use my google translate camera to help.

Just thought I would write this review as I’m really disappointed in the Service of Rudy’s !the plates were dirty.And the waitress did not look interested at all witch is not the best impression for our first visit with the kids and no sugar free drinks to cater for dietary needs pizza was sloppy but ok 😞went to the one in Manchester and it was amazing just a let down really!!

I really do not normally write bad reviews of places but I was just so disappointed with this place. Just want people to know if you’re thinking of going - don’t! We were a party of 6. We sat for 20 minutes before someone came to take our drinks orders. We ordered food. Two pizzas arrived before any drinks and before our starters. The waiter seemed surprised I would want my starters first saying “it will all come out together”. A couple of drinks arrived. Then a couple more pizzas (and the “starters”). Then a couple of drinks. Then a couple more pizzas. Eventually everyone had their drinks. Terrible. It’s pretty basic service to expect drinks then starters then mains? There was not a lot of choice for the vegetarian in our party. There’s a couple of vegan pizzas but that was it. Usually pizza is a safe bet in terms of choice. Pizza was average, don’t know how this place has such a good reputation. Soggy base and black crust on some pizzas. No one offered us any more drinks. (Although probably for the best, as it took long enough to get the first round!) It was my son’s birthday too so I was extra disappointed to have such a terrible experience.

A true italian pizza as if it was made in Italy. I wished they had a better tiramisu with real mascarpone but lets hope for the future :) The service is also great, both in Birmingham and in Leeds city.

Their pizzas are really good and the writers are really nice. All that for a reasonable price. I really recommend.

We ate here tonight for our anniversary meal as we wanted something casual. The staff were very friendly and although very busy, really fast and attentive with us. Drinks arrived very quickly and shortly after our order was taken. Our pizzas arrived very hot and were absolutely delicious and a large enough portion. Great choices for dietary requirements too. The atmosphere and ambience in the restaurant was really nice too.

I have been to Rudy's many times and each time the food is superb. I have tried most of the food menu and have never been disappointed in my food choice. However the last few times I have been the service has been a bit lacking, this branch is always packed so I can see why and it isn't the case in less busy branches. The last few times we have been sat in the corner tucked away and so sometimes felt we were forgotten about. Haven't had this issue when sat in the main restaurant. The atmosphere is fantastic, we love the open kitchen and the general vibe of the restaurant is buzzing

As a person who ate pizza in Naples several times, I can attest that this place is authentic and they use the right ingredients. Top quality. If you wanna have a genuine Italian taste this is it. The babà though. The original recipe doesn't have cream in it. Personally I think it's iverly sweet if topped with cream and amaretto.

The pizzas are delicious , the best pizza I’ve ever had! I ordered the Tarantina but tried 3 different ones. A group of 8 of us all loved it, great service and atmosphere to, fairly priced - I’m planning on returning asap!

Pizza is good but Caesar salad portion too small. Overall not much complain.

A really good pizza and not too expensive which is a surprise for city centre eating all the family enjoyed there’s , will go again.

This has become my favorite restaurant chain. Pizza is always good, great selection of soft drinks and decent service. Last but not least, it offers great value for money.

Φαγητό με την κόρη μου, πήραμε πίτσες ,bufala, μπύρες. Ήταν ωραίες γεύσεις αλλά η ζύμη της πίτσας ηταν πολύ μαλακή (θα τη θέλαμε πιο ξεροψημενη από κάτω)και η bufala ηταν λίγο σκληρή (ίσως λόγω ποιότητας). Η κοπέλα στην υποδοχή ηταν πολύ εξυπηρετική. Οι μπύρες σε ποτήρι που μας πρότειναν ηταν πικρή,αρωματική και θολή (πολύ ωραία). Πληρώσαμε 44 λιρες.

Probably the best pizza I've had this side of Napoli, Probably better than most I've had in Italy. Service was friendly and efficient, food came out in a timely manner. Forget the rest, I've found the best. Very highly recommended. 5*

Great place to eat proper Italian pizza. Great service, we were seated straight away without booking, but it was as quite Monday night in Leeds, bet its fully booked on weekend. Highly recommend over the large franchise pizza places. All 5 people in our group enjoy the pizza's and was offered a box to take any pizza that was not eaten home.

The food was a bit cold but that's because they were really busy and I totally understand that I would give 5⭐️ next time also really good stuff there and love the music they have definitely give a try if you into Italian food😍

food was great but the garlic bread starter took 40 minutes to come out, then once we finished our pizzas we sat there for another 40 minutes until closing time for them to realise we were still there and bring us our bill. They didn’t even clear our plates until we left. I really wanted to try the tirimasu and didn’t get the chance. Disappointing service

I arrived at 5.20. Ordered a large red wine and large pizza. By 6.10 I was politely told they needed the table back in 10mins! What a joke, and utterly ruined some relaxing food and drink time on my own. I may be alone, but being pressured to leave after less than an hour with half a glass of wine left. Absolutely disgusting. Get a grip you money grabbers. And the pizza was soggy and lacked seasoning. Places like this are killing the food industry.

This is the second time we have visited and found great food obviously made with authentic ingredients served by super friendly and attentive staff which made the whole evening so chilled out and enjoyable See you again very soon 😊

It is fantastic because the ingredients are excellent and the food it absolutely authentic because they are the correct ingredients and it’s cooked in the correct oven. The atmosphere is great - relaxed The service is excellent!! The staff are really polite!! Simply put, it’s a really reasonably priced, relaxed restaurant with great food and great service.

Ordered on Deliveroo, the order took forever because they weren’t preparing the food so drivers kept leaving and cancelling. After two hours our food finally arrived and it was someone else’s order. Had to spend our Friday night waiting for the order and then dealing with Deliveroo help centre. Rudy’s didn’t even answer the phone. I enjoyed your food previously so such a shame to have such an awful experience with no response or compensation.

The pizza was served relatively quickly. It was delicious and I had to take mine home since it was a large portion. Budget friendly and the staff was really friendly.

It was very busy when we arrived so I was glad I had booked. I have to say the table they gave us was very small and against a closed door and felt like they'd squeezed us in despite booking a month in advance. The place was buzzing, good atmosphere, but very noisy due to high ceilings and the noise carrying. The staff were warm and helpful and attentive. The menu was great, the specials were interesting, however we all ended up choosing from the main menu. The pizzas were huge and delicious, despite being super thin bases it was still a struggle to finish it. We tried all the dips, my favourite was the nduja aioli. The chilli honey was more like a large pot of honey with only a couple of chili flakes in it, so you didn't taste any chilli and it was very sweet. Overall I thought the pizza was excellent and fairly priced and I would eat here again. Good place for friend's to meet.

Cannot fault this place. This was my first visit to Rudy’s and I will definitely return. I visited last weekend with some friends, and we shared two pizzas and the vegetarian sharing platter - all the food was really lovely. The service was spot-on, despite the restaurant being incredibly busy - the friendly, hardworking staff are a definite strength here. There is a great vibe to this place - the clientele is a real mixture, which was nice.

Very rare I give top marks but struggling to mark down. Service excellent, atmosphere excellent, pizzas another level (and I've eaten alot of pizzas). Toilets raised a few eyebrows but 5 stars all day long. Highly recommended.

Very nice pizza place. Mine with the nduja and nduja aioli dip was divine. The service was very caring, gave us platters when our order was taking too long. I had the Cinghalia. Also had a rather dry Italian cider, which was also a good change.

Quick and friendly service, delicious pizzas (exactly how I like them!), lots of choice and all fairly priced. The garlic mozzarella bread is to die for and the cinghiale pizza is delicious. My favourite place for pizza!

This place is popular, the vegan pizza was delicious!! But the service wasn't amazing, we had a big group and some people were unhappy, I was simply unimpressed. It's not a cosy place and the layout could be better, but these are minor concerns. I gave the food 5*s and that's what really matters, I would definitely eat the food again, but I'd prefer to take out.

After having heard good things unfortunately this was a let down. We were admittedly a large party - but we booked in advance and came prepared with a list of food we would be ordering. Unfortunately they don’t have either capacity or didn’t have enough staff to facilitate a large party despite having a private space downstairs for this purpose. It took nearly an hour to get drinks. Pizzas arrived in twos very very slowly. There was a 40 minute gap between two people at one table each getting their pizzas. Over all from order it took 2 hours for most of us to get served. It was chaos. They knew we were coming in advance. This simply should not have happened. No one as much as acknowledged the wait to the people waiting for food let alone apologised. It took so long people were leaving to catch trains before desert was served. Might be alright for smaller groups - the pizza itself was nice although by the time I received mine I could have eaten a circle of cardboard I was so hungry.

Not sure what all the hype is about. Average pizzas, stingy on the toppings (boar) and long waits. Service was rude, substandard and unwelcoming. Place run by students and I wouldn't recommend to anyone over 35. Loads more options in Leeds for a nice meal in more grown up settings. Wont be returning.

The food is amazing, the service seemed genuinely and friendly (some places you can tell they're being polite because they 'have to', here they came across as genuinely wanting to male sure customers had a good time and good food). Upstairs is a bustling area with high ceilings and lots of windows at front of building. Downstairs feels a little like being in a cellar, but was nevertheless enjoyable with subdued lighting and much quieter than upstairs.

I booked a table for 5 people for 8pm on a Saturday evening. We had been before and the food was really good so we recommended some friends try it as well. We arrived on time only to be told our booking was for 7pm, it wasn't, it was clearly 8pm on my confirmation. With a bit of huffing and puffing and making it quite uncomfortable, we were shown to a table. The service was the first let down. We ordered a bottle of wine and it was literally dumped on the table. We ordered food and the starters were OK but when the pizzas came, they were very substandard. We ordered well done and they were soggy, not very edible at all, and I ended up leaving more than half of mine. I was going to complain but the service was amazingly bad and the woman who seemed to be running the show was on the verge of popping out of her top at any moment, I had thecfeeling it would fall on deaf ears. I am all for freedom to wear what you like, but I prefer to dine without the fear of a breast dangling in my food. All in all, none of us will be returning. It was a shame as the first experience was really good. The next day I received notification my booking had been cancelled. After the experience we had, I wished we had done that before.

Fabulous place , truly authentic pizza just like in Italy! For the price, amazing value with varied ,imaginative ingredients and gorgeous soft stretchy bases and quality tomatoes . I had a small problem and wow! , was it dealt with fast . These guys really care! Totally recommend, 5*
