We happened to visit the restaurant while in the area, the experience was wonderful. The staff is friendly, food was delicious and the portions were big. Would love to go again soon.

Food was good, but I was charged extra for a rice plate that’s supposed to be included in the main dish charge! check your receipt before leaving! Extremely disappointed!

Delicious food, cooked to a high standard - I had fluffy rice, large juicy prawns in a spectacular tomato and vegetable based sauce with a crisp salad. The service was superb - our party of four was served in no time starting with drinks and the yummy hummus and thick sesame bread, which we shared, each of us then had a different main course and everyone said how good their mains tasted. We walked in to a welcoming atmosphere and friendly and warm service. Couldn’t fault it and will be making it one of our ‘go to’ places

Their kebabs are lovely, but stopping the salad and sauces that completed a £32 meal for two delivered, will probably mean I don’t order from them anymore sadly.

after being to so many Persian restaurants, trying all sorts of persian meals in different places, I must say the standards of service and food are outstanding at SOOSI'S restaurant. The koobideh which I had was tender and juicy and cooked to perfection. 😋 The Shirazi salad and the side 🍃 leaves salad were so refreshing, and the portion was so generous. 👌🏻 Also, it is real good value for money. Very decent prices with plenty of choice. This is the place where you'd like to go if you want to be greeted with the biggest smile and a very clean, beautiful atmosphere. Perfect for birthday parties or any type of event. And now they do delivery service too 😀. It is a family run business, so you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door. Thank you team soosi. Can't wait for our next meal with the Mrs at yours. 😁 Forgot to mention the homemade daily made persian Baghlava which was amazingly delicious, soft with crispy outer layer, not too sweet but with plenty of pistachios in it. Loved it 😍

Very good food but waiting time is too long and the price is too expensive for what you get.

Nice, cozy place, good ambience, traditional Persian food. The waitress was very humble, caring, polite and helpful. I went for a lunch and she suggested me the £15 fixed menu meal deal. Nice fluffy Basmati rice, lamb grill with lemonade, hummus with bread. Great taste. no fuss, no frills. Would definitely go again.

Excellent Persian food. We had Kashk e Badamjan with freshly baked bread followed by Soosi Special Lamb Stroganoff which was really delicious and the Joojeh Kebab with Koobideh Kebab which was very tender Finished with Persian tea and Knafeh. The Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would certainly recommend a visit to this cosy restaurant.

We had lunch there on the 04/01/23 .. with my family…. It was not nice from them that they don’t have card payments… this is first and then a lady plays with me silly move that I’ll have discount if I win in some how … anyway not good experience

I celebrated New Years Eve here with my family. The food and the atmosphere were amazing.

Ate here yesterday and it was absolutely lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was excellent. So full of flavour and obviously freshly cooked. I really do recommend that you try this restaurant. There was a lot people in here which is not a surprise. Excellent.

Great food that never disappoints. The quality is always great. The grills are tender and delicious. The portions are quite large. The staff are really friendly and they always go the extra mile. A true gem.

Best lamb chops in a long time, very well seasoned and a good portion. Salad very fresh. Good basmati rice, massive portion. Very warm welcome, and although quite (I had popped in on impulse mid-afternoon) the atmosphere was good. I will be back soon

The food is some of the best in Leeds 100% staff are lovely as well! Would recommend for anyone looking for a great mix of Mediterranean flavours

GO TO MEZZA In Bradford... don't waste your money here! I WAS a regular customer! I ordered online and put in the notes to have half rice and half chips (something I normal get ). When I went to pick it up they told me they haven't got my order because the website is down. The (rude) woman asked me to wait 10 mins extra which then turned into 40 mins (over an hour since I ordered online). When they finally gave me my order they told me to choose chips or rice. I told them I'm a regular and I always get half, they were very rude and refused. I explained to them that I have had to wait 40 mins in the restaurant due to their fault.. surely they could do that for me at least! They were very rude and said the issue is not their fault and told me they will keep the food and told me to leave (I already paid online). Ridiculous service from this restaurant no wonder why it's never full ! MEZZA is 10 times better than this place!!

We were here for our anniversary 2 weeks ago, the food was amazing, great host, lovely family. We are planning on taking our friends for an afternoon meal.

I was here two days ago the food is delicious , the prices are normal but unfortunately the service wasn’t good and slow also they put a service charge and I asked not to pay it as I usually tip they told no it’s mandatory our bill was 51£ not cheap , honestly I will never be back to such place what a shame .

I have often gone to Soosi for many years I know since lockdown it has changed hands, however I went to Soosi last night along with friends for a birthday dinner, nothing was declared or mentioned nor on the website or on the menu that a service charge is compulsory. Upon paying the bill the lady said you have to pay this in which I replied this is optional and she said no you have to pay it, that is incredibly rude I didn’t feel the value of the service charge was warranted it was high , when advising them that they should declare this so people know, the staff were very wish washy and was only interested in the money, the food is absolutely delicious but based on this fact it put a sour taste on the night and I shall not be returning. In regards to your response it makes no sense I live in the Uk I’m a UK resident and I live around the corner from the restaurant, to me your exploiting your customers I suggest you make it very CLEAR you expect the service charge to be paid even the the rate was extortion

Just ordered a mixed grill for 50 quid on just eat then paid extra for bread service charge... Folks don't waste your time the food is not great came with a prawn cocktail sauce no tasiki no chilli sauce and very small amount of food for in total 53 quid. I don't often complain but was horrendous 🤢 rang to complain then told I could of ordered ketchup and thank you for feed back... Keep it real 😭

Called in yesterday late afternoon with our 3 year old grandson. The service was absolutely wonderful. The staff all made us feel very welcome. The food was completely delicious and was enjoyed by us all. When we were leaving the entire staff took the time to say goodbye to our grandson which was a lovely touch. We will be recomending to everyone and will be returning as soon as possible

Just finished eat from here. Went to Bab tooma up the road (what a waste of time it was) just before only to be disappointed by the service so walked out and came straight here. Atmosphere - 10/10 Service - 10/10 Food - 10/10 Prices - 8/10 Absolutely amazing food and awesome service! I definitely will be coming here. Really enjoyed the Koobideh kebab!

Been here today to celebrate my birthday, we had a great time! I’ve been going here for years and always have a great time! The staff are friendly and amenable and the restaurant itself is lovely! The food is always great here, fab portions and tasty food. I also highly recommend the Persian tea!! We even got a free pudding! Very happy customers over here!

Great. Fabulous food, quiet night just a few diners, then just one couple left, they were still great hosts and the food was superb too. Cannot fault the place, well worth a visit, a hidden gem.

Best Persian food spot in Leeds!

Came across this place today by chance.. the food is fantastic, would highly recommend the chicken kebab and stew..both are extremely tasty, superb quality produce.. the portion size of the stew is huge and well worth a try.. the staff and owners are extremely friendly ...already planning our next trip.

The restaurant has changed hands recently and has a new owner. The new food is devine and the staff are so friendly. They will go out of their way for you with a smile. My partner had the Kofte which was absolutely wonderful. The risotto was gorgeous. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is so fresh and beautifully presented.

Amazing atmosphere on last day before second lockdown

A very pretty place excellent service and the food was just fantastic. Dinner date with my neice just for a catch up. Lovely venue and well worth the price and didnt have to wait long at all for the food. Will definitely be going back❤

Been here lots of times over the years, never been disappointed until tonight. I normally go for hummus but thought I'd try the nachos.. Lovely homemade ones.. (Just tortilla wraps cut into strips n fried we all kno that) WRONG what I got was a bag of Doritos with cheese sprinkled on the top. Horrendous at £5.50.The waitress asked if everything was OK and I told her no and that it was basically Doritos. Next a dish I go for everytime. Its a beautiful smoked haddock and spinach dish. So looking forward after the the Doritos. Wrong.. The dish was ruined by loads of mushrooms. It says nothing on the menu about mushrooms, the dish has never had them in before. I must have picked out 20 I kid you not. Good job I done have an allergy to them.. Just don't like them. I don't know what's happened, we've always had decent food but tonight's offerings where dismal. Waitress was told about it, no offer to change the dish, no apology.. I wasn't expecting a refund just an apology and an explanation. The Doritos tho.. They where proper mingling.

Disappointing. Sorry to say that it just has not been a good experience, twice. On my first visit the starter I wanted was not available so I ordered something unknown for a taste surprise. I was surely surprised when the main course came and not the starter, which never made it to my table. When asking for the bill I asked what happened to the starter. Seems they knew which one it was (and may have prepared it) but couldn’t work out who had ordered it. Not many in that night so should not have been difficult. The other table or mine. Decided to take another risk today - May as well stayed home!!! Which is where I ended up eating. I rang in the afternoon to see if there was space, made a booking. Arrived at arranged time. Only 1 couple dining in so staff hardly stretched. Door LOCKED. I rang to see what the story was. Couldn’t find any booking for this time. No explanation as to why door was locked. Already back in the car and home to eat. Unbelievable. I don’t know what has happened to this place however I would recommend you give it a miss.

Attended as part of a family meal. All dishes ordered were absolutely fantastic. I had the chicken with spinach and artichoke which was very tasty and a generous portion as well. Service was excellent, the lady who took our order was really friendly and helpful. I ordered the Persian tea which came with really lovely biscuit - the whole family thought it delicious and so the lady brought out more. The owner came and spoke to us too. Really made us so welcome. Would highly recommend.
