My 2 friends and I are here last night before attending Yeadon town hall to see a show. It’s my 3 time eating there. I love the food. The service was really good also. We will certainly go back

First time trying here even though we live just up the road! What a lovely place! Attentive staff, open kitchen, authentic and the food was beautiful! We will be regulars

Waitress showed us to our table with our menus took a good 20 minutes to take our drinks order another table of 4 walked in after us and they got there food after coming in after us receiving there food as our order was been taken food was lovely but never experienced such lousy service in my life and eaten out alot its like we got forgotten about to be honest restaurnt was very cold to be honest and sat next to a window there was an awful smell coming from the kitchen like a burning smell possibly from the pizza oven as smelt more when it was opened I'll stick with my usual italian restaurant in yeadon

The best meal out we have had in ages, service and food was excellent we will definitely be back

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Everytime I visit, I feel I need to come back sooner! The food is amazing, staff wonderful and always the most welcoming atmosphere. If you haven’t been yet you’re missing out.

Great relaxing environment, good pizzas and friendly owners. A local restaurant to us but eating there feels like being on holiday.

Always a great experience whenever we visit, the atmosphere is always welcoming, the food is great and the price is really good value for money. The Brie and the pesto pizza on our latest visit were amazing and the whole family loves the Carbonara. We always leave feeling happy and full! Never had a bad visit and always one of our top choices when going to eat out as a family. We feel there is always such a good range of food to choose from and an option to keep everybody happy!

This place has it all. Warm and friendly staff, amazing food, charming and relaxed family friendly atmosphere. Very accommodating to little ones, booster seats/plastic cutlery and plates, everything you need and nothing is too much trouble. Our 18 month old has an egg allergy and they had all the allergen information and were very confident with this. This is very much appreciated as it can be quite unnerving eating out with an allergy but it was clear from the start that we were in safe hands. The food was very tasty and more than reasonably priced given the high quality and current cost of living. Thank you so much, we will be back soon.

The food here is phenomenal. One of those rare places where every single item on the menu is a treat. Lovely friendly staff and a nice atmosphere (it does, however, get quite noisy)

Took about 2 hours to get ours food, blind no test, the pizza dough wasn’t fresh at all, disappointing

This is such an amazing restaurant, the food is so so good. Even if you just pick up a takeaway the value for money is excellent. I have been about 20 times, just love it.

Eaten here a few times now and it never fails to disappoint, food is always delicious and we’ve never had any problems with the service which has always been friendly and attentive. Our latest visit was before we went to a show at the Town Hall and after contacting them to explain we’d be pushed for time a lovely lady called Emma arranged for us to preorder our food and as agreed it was on our table within 10 minutes of us sitting down which allowed us enough time to enjoy it without rushing. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Shared a meal with 5 other friends on sat evening. Wonderful atmosphere, attentive staff. Most of all wonderful food,one of the best nears for a while.

The food, service, staff and atmosphere were all excellent.

We were a table of 5 for a birthday meal. The restaurant was lovely and warm, the service was great and the food was amazing. We all had a starter, main and dessert and spent just a little more than when we go elsewhere with just two of us. We will be back again soon.

Similarly to a lot of people in these reviews, the food was good but speed was atrocious. Took 2 hours for the main course to arrive and when it did it was partially wrong. I feel very sorry for the waitresses in as they take most of the flack from customers. But if the kitchen with 2 people can't cater to 20 people then you either need more or different staff. Seems there's a major understaffing issue, we loved coming here as a family but afraid to say that we won't be back after the service tonight. Truly a shame.

We cannot think of words to say how good this restaurant is, as everything about it is outstanding

Went to Il Sogno last night for a get together. The service was excellent the place was lovely staff very welcoming. Our meals were to our exact specifications due to a medical condition. Absolutly beautiful. Will definitely be going again in the new year.

What a shame! Booked for 5:30 knowing we had to be out by 7:30.... yet 2 hours was not enough for just a main course! Waitress was lovely and very apologetic for the long waits. Took an hour for the bread to come to the table and didn't get the main course til 6:55. Side order of chips came after some of the party had finished their main. Politely complained to be told the management will see you on the way out - oh and heard management saying doesnt everyone in here. If you can't handle the bookings, don't take them! How embarrassing. If 2 chefs cannot cater for 20 people then they should not be in the trade. Seemed to care more about delivery/take outs. A lot of miserable faces in the restaurant. Such a shame! Food was acceptable

The food was lovely. Sadly the kitchen wasn't able to cope with less than 20 people as it took 1hour and a half to get our food, leaving only 30 minutes to eat.

What a great little find!! Booked last min and was amazing. The food is great honest food. The restaurant is homely and comfy. The staff are great. We took 4 kids and they could not do enough for us. The waitress brought over colours and paper and the kids were given sweets when we left. The menu is small and everything is made to order, the kids could have anything from the menu and it.was made smaller, which again is brilliant. Normally on a Saturday night you feel a pain in the bum with children but not here, we will be eating here again!

Great atmosphere, lovely family run place. The food was delicious and the wine was tasty. The garlic bread with pesto was a lovely starter.

Lovely ambience, amazing good value food and friendly and helpful staff have made this one of our favourite restaurants. Definitely worth a visit. Booking is advisable for a Saturday evening.

Wow.I can't believe I only just found this place! My family (adults) love Italian food and the more authentic the better. We've enjoyed some great meals in Ilkley and in Otley where we live, but we never knew there was another great authentic Italian so close by.What we're really missing where we live and work is great authentic Italian pizza takeout and especially when our favourite shop that comes the closest to authentic is closed, it sends me scraping the barrel for alternatives that aren't curry or kebab merchants...So tonight, having a surprise disappointment finding our 'usual' place was closed I tried to salvage the evening by googling for a nearby alternative. That's when I found the reviews for this establishment and placed a quick call to the proprietor to find out if takeout was on the menu.We're so glad it was. Without even a menu we ordered our favourites - Al Funghi, Chicken Funghi with Extra Cheese, Bolognese and Mediterranean Chicken - and were advised to collect an impressive 20 minutes later. The service was fabulous and the pizzas are simply superb and make for incredible value. My wife and I love spending holidays down in Nice, which travellers know to be full of incredible Italian food, and this pizza took us right back to one of our favourite pizzeria restaurants down there and the images of the restaurant which we're yet to have the pleasure of visiting are also a reminder of a great Italian restaurant in Nice - simple, authentic, focus on food and value rather than image... just brilliant.Thank you so much for saving our evening and being such a revelation. My wife is especially fussy about how her pizza is finished, and she was just a bundle of satisfaction when she'd eaten...This pizza is excellent, people, and could easily be the best - even the only authentic Italian takeout pizza in the area and probably most of you don't realise it's there. Makes for a tasty supper and definitely deserves our support through this difficult time for restaurants...I urge you to try these guys and keep this little gem going!

Mi yerno y mi nuera se unieron a nosotros para una comida y realmente lo disfrutamos mucho, nuestra joven camarera fue tan atenta y servicial con una actitud maravillosa que contribuyó a nuestro disfrute. Si no has probado Il Sogno, hazlo pronto, no te decepcionará.

Very nice meal on Tuesday night.

Went to Il Sogno Tuesday 8th Sept. There were 4 of us dining. For starters we had Pate, Garlic Mushrooms and the Calamari, main courses we had Lobster Ravioli, Chicken Forestiere and Ribeye Steak. Could not fault any of the food at all - it was amazing. We couldn't manage a dessert but all opted for liqueur coffees. It was our first time at this restaurant and definitely won't be our last. Thank you Kim for being our server for the evening. A hard worker and nothing was too much trouble.

Top notch food, great staff. The lobster ravioli is one of the best meals I've had and our lasses pizza was cooked to perfect. 10/10 would scran again.

Tasty food, attentive staff, clean and comfortable surroundings, reasonably priced. Would have given 5 stars but very strangely they only take cash which is convenient. That said, highly recommend nonetheless.

Mixed review on this one. The welcome was nice and friendly and unlike some restaurants the table for two was big enough for two. We both had Calamari to start then i had the pork arrabiata and my wife had the chicken in Brandy sauce. The service was pleasant and not rushed. Both dishes were very nice and for those reasons we will be back. On the negative side, the young lady who served us was very pleasant and helpful but when looking up all i could do was focus on the ring through her nose. We felt that this wasnt very professional. The other negative was that the place was a bit cold, one guy was sat with his fleece on and his partner didnt remove her scarf. It didnt give the restaurant a relaxed feel. We mentioned it to the manager/owner so hopefully it will be addressed. But as i said, we will be back and maybe take a sweater just in case!!

Visité un martes por la noche para una celebración tardía de cumpleaños. Había reservado una mesa y, aunque había algunas vacantes, estaba ocupado. El personal no parecía apurado a pesar de los números y tanto la comida como el servicio eran muy buenos. Tuve el entrante de champiñones de ajo que era encantador al igual que las gambas disfrutadas por mi compañero. Ambos tuvimos el panqueque para main que burbujeaba tanto que tuvimos que esperar un tiempo o arriesgarnos a una boca quemada. Botella de Prosecco tenía un precio muy razonable y tuvimos una velada muy agradable.

Had a great meal here 2night very tasty food great staff

Not been here for a while but the food is just as good as we remember,I had the chicken in a brandy sauce with mustard, small portion which was enough for me, delicious. Most in our family chose pasta or pizza, starters were pate, jalapeños, bruschetta.Desserts were ice cream, chocolate fudge cake, Russian coffee & Calypso coffee.

Llevó a su nuera y nietos (de 2 y 4 años) a comer. eligieron el restaurante ya que a todos les gusta la comida italiana. Reservé con anticipación y me sorprendió gratamente ser recibido por una agradable camarera que había preparado una mesa con sillas altas y cubiertos para niños. (solo se requiere un refuerzo, pero una buena idea) Un poco de consideración como esta hace una gran diferencia en toda la experiencia cuando tienes niños pequeños contigo. En lugar de tener que pedir sillas altas, etc.Pedimos diferentes platos a los nietos que compartían los adultos.La comida era deliciosa y abundante seguido de postre de helado (grandes porciones de fruta). Todo el personal era amable, sonriente y muy atento y paciente (reemplazando los cubiertos desechados por los kiddiwinks en el piso) y rellenando la jarra de agua.

Después de haber viajado a lo largo y ancho de la U. K. y más allá y haber comido en muchos restaurantes italianos y llamados "italianos", creo que estoy calificado para juzgar la calidad de este establecimiento en mi ciudad natal de Yeadon. Pues aquí está. . . . . Solo puedo decir que la comida, el servicio y el ambiente de esta pequeña joya son excelentes, mi esposa juzga los restaurantes italianos por la calidad de sus canelones. . . Bueno, su veredicto en esta ocasión fue. . . lo mejor que ha tenido! Por mi parte, tuve un hermoso calzone. Compartimos el tiramisú más delicioso con helado, crema fresca y frutas de verano mmmmmm! Un vaso grande de excelente vino blanco para mí y un refresco para el precio total del "conductor" por debajo de 32. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar..

Very limited choice for vegans, especially if you're gluten free as well - and you have to ask in advance. I had a bland risotto.

Good food and great with the kids

Me habían recomendado venir aquí para una comida, pero no estaba seguro debido a la ubicación. Qué agradable sorpresa. El restaurante estaba arriba del ruido de la calle. El personal es muy amable, la decoración básica pero agradable. La comida era buena, las setas de ajo, carbonara y tiramisú, no me puedo quejar en absoluto.

We travelled from Greater Manchester to meet up with our daughter and her family and ate here yesterday. Firstly we were given a warm welcome before being shown to our table. The restaurant is very bright and airy and spotlessly clean. The food was absolutely delicious. Between the 5 of us we ate 11 different dishes and every plate was emptied. We will definitely be eating here again.

Amazing food, better staff! We went with a small group as we were staying in the Premier Inn prior to a flight and needed somewhere to eat which wasn't the Beefeater nextdoor (see their reviews) So glad we were recommended here as it was fab. We had a baby with us (well ours) and the staff were so helpful making us feel at home/all our needs were catered for etc. Prices were very reasonable and flavoursome. Doesn't take cards however, but there are 3 cash points right opposite at Morrisons supermarket

We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed a great meal. The pizzas and Calzone are made with a nice thin base just the way we all like them.

Advise booking a table. 2 adults and 2 teenagers we in our party. Friendly staff very attentive. We had 2 x calamari (cooked to perfection) and tomato garlic bread for starter and we all had pizza and 4 x chips (2 x chips would have been enough). The food was great, lovely atmosphere we had 3 beers and 3 soft drinks and the bill came to £81 left over Pizza we took as carry out. Will definitely go again.

My husband and I brought our 11 year old son and 14 of his friends for his birthday on Saturday evening. We brought the boys to Il Sogno last year too and it was fabulous so was first choice again this year! The owners always make us feel so welcome and the food is delicious. A lovely warm family and friendly atmosphere and really tasty food. Thank you so much again for making Harry’s birthday so special

Come here time and again and am never disappointed with the friendly staff and quality of food. Fried mozzarella starter was delicious along with its homemade tomato sauce. Opted for my favourite Rustica pizza and again this didn't disappoint. Not sure if this is only when you dine with kids but the sweet jar that arrives with the bill is a nice touch

Il Sogno significa el sueño y es la comida italiana más deliciosa que se sirve en un ambiente realmente agradable. Sí, está en el primer piso y hay un baño para mujeres en la parte superior de las escaleras, pero el restaurante es encantador, la cocina está en exhibición y los camareros son muy atentos.

Excellent food, this is a great place to eat with friends. I highly recommend that you try it out, maybe for a first date meal........

Visited for a family meal - good food but limited choice as it is fresh and not from a long list of frozen food. Good service - friendly and attentive.

Tenía un par de noches de celebración de la familia encantadora. Teniendo en cuenta que éramos una gran fiesta, naturalmente hubo que esperar comida, pero; s cocinado a pedido desde cero, así que tienes que esperar esto. La comida cuando llegó era excelente, caliente y sabrosa. El servicio fue excelente, el personal amable y atento y el costo era muy razonable. Recomiendo encarecidamente Il Sogno

Habiendo sido recomendado este lugar, estábamos esperando una auténtica comida italiana, lamentablemente todo sobre esto es horrible. La entrada de arriba al restaurante está en mal estado y no da una buena impresión, ya que los baños te reciben en la parte superior. Entrando en el comedor a través de un área estrecha y torpe entre la cocina y la nevera del desierto, te lleva al interior, donde la decoración es muy anticuada y de mal gusto.

Pizza with an egg on top whats not to love

Had take out pizza for 1st time this Saturday and they are a winner. Kids loved theirs and choice of 3 toppings for £6 is great value. Will definitely use again
