EL Cafe Verde in Chesterfield

Tasteless breakfast, if I could give it less than 1 I would.

Absolutely amazing café. The food was perfect in every aspect , the atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff are second to non I really felt at home that much that I decided to stay and have a 2nd breakfast as it was an experience I wasn't willing to leave. Fantastic job team. I'm extremely impressed

First time visiting Chesterfield I wasn't too sure on where to eat so had a quick look on Google maps and EL Cafe Verde popped up as being a stone throw away. Staff was extremely polite & helpful and the food was absolutely banging 👌 Hot, well presented and wasn't greasy unlike most other cafes. I'm back in Chesterfield soon so will definitely be popping back in for another brekky

Came in and had a caramel ice coffee and a spinach and cheese panini was AMAZING 🤩 great customer service x

Delivery of Breakfast cobs. Excellent service and fantastic food. The best sausage cob I've had in years (I'm rather fussy re sausages too)

Run by a nice lady. I love this place. I always go for the sausage egg chips n beans. The homemade chips are the best of the best.

Awful..no hygiene skills. I certainly would not go there again..

Pig ignorant went last week no please no thankyou just drop the plate in front of you ! Thought I would go again as everybody can have a bad day! Walked in just blanked turned there back on us left us stood there , so walked out went else where , clearly customer service is not there strong point ! Shame as breakfast was good!

I just made an order from here a few minutes before they closed. i was shocked to see how good the prices are, much cheaper than anywhere else I've seen lately. I wasn't expecting the food to be much for the price however I was wrong. It was beautiful, exactly what I wanted. Proper cafe food, really good portion sizes and good customer service from the driver too. Will definitely be ordering here more often. Thank you!

Wasn't really that impressed to be honest the coffee was cold recieved wrong items on my build your own breakfast quality of food we did receive was OK could maybe do with a couple.more members of staff felt like we couldn't say anything about the mistakes due to there being only 2 members if staff who were clearly pushed to the limits

Whenever I'm fancying a breakfast. This is my go to cafe. Dog friendly, so my dogs also enjoy a sausage or two from there. Breakfast has always been nice and the staff are always friendly and polite. There's also a little play area what my girls enjoying playing in whenever they are there 😊

The food here is always excellent, I've recommended it to friends and colleagues and they all agree. Very reasonably priced as well

It's clear the staff care about providing good customer service and are passionate about the environment. Cute selection of zero waste items to purchase. Definitely recommend!

Nice friendly cafe. If eating in there is table service. Usual menu, full English breakfast, assorted meals and sandwiches to take out, good selection of drinks it is decorated very nice with oldie worldwide pictures on wall. We had two lattes and two toasted teacakes for under £8.00. can recommend.

Went for breakfast. Popular place. Very busy. The food was good. Pancakes were smaller than expected. English breakfast was decent. It's a greasy spoon but not a bad one

Ordered at 8.35 got a estimated delivery for 9.35 9.55 arrived at 10.20 eggs i could use as a boomerang food soggy .

Went today with friends after a recommendation from my niece. Three of us had chimichanga and one had jacket potato with chilli. All of it was served beautifully. Good size portions and great prices. We all bought some of the plastic free and health products too. Staff were really helpful and informative. Great service and will definately use again.

Had full English breakfast this morning spot on, not your average greasy spoon at all well done

Came into the cafe had a great breakfast really filling for the price and had a tropical mango smoothie was amazing ... staff very helpful couldn't have done any more to make sure everything was OK

Can't leave reply on food hub as usual not clicked as recieved. Not my usual brilliant review. I ordered larg brekky ham cheese panini meal and a large ham and cheese sandwich. The ham is inferior to normal and if any1 has ever had a panini with unmelted grated cheese then unlucky for u aswell

Had Sunday dinner today as a takeaway. So good to have real food instead of frozen mash pellets reheated in a microwave proper dinner with proper yorkies was reccomended by a friend, would reccomend their dinners, will be back thank you

As a coeliac it's brilliant to find somewhere that understands your needs properly, with good tasty food and value for money, will definitely be visiting again.

Finally a proper cafe and restaurant in chesterfield that understands coeliac dietary requirements If you're vegan or gluten intolerant or simply if you like tasty food a very clean and well presented cafe with a great menu and opening hours cannot believe our luck and right on our doorstep well worth a visit and repeat visits as me and my family intend to frequent this wonderful place from now ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ deserves an extra star for understanding people's dietary needs correctly 👍

Popped down to buy a cake treat. It's so refreshing to be able to ask about allergens and get not only a sensible reply, but a willingness to change items to work with an allergy. We had cheesecake, chocolate cake and peanut butter brownie (the brownie was vegan and soya free) and they were all amazing. Well worth a trip out, especially if you are coeliac, vegan or have an allergy. Now to decide, salads or breakfasts next time?
