Fuimos a cenar el viernes 7 de marzo de 2025 a las 7 pm. Éramos 13 con diferentes necesidades dietéticas y todos estábamos contentos con nuestras comidas. El servicio fue atento y amable. La comida era deliciosa y de buena calidad. El restaurante está limpio y tiene un gran ambiente. Algunos en nuestra fiesta habían estado aquí antes y tuvieron una experiencia igualmente agradable, así que no fue solo suerte esta vez. Los clientes estaban haciendo cola para entrar, así que asegúrese de reservar una mesa!

En el camino a un concierto y buscando comida que habíamos encontrado este lugar en - línea, pero no reservado una mesa. El lugar fue embestido, pero una espera de 10 minutos nos hizo sentarnos y el servicio fue lo suficientemente rápido como para que llegáramos a tiempo para el espectáculo. El lugar es pequeño, con un montón de mesas que se pueden mover un poco, pero a menudo resultan en compartir con otros si estás en un grupo más pequeño. La puerta es increíblemente difícil de abrir, así que tire o empuje muy fuerte - esperemos que resuelvan eso en lugar de solo tener un letrero en la puerta. La comida es muy auténtica tailandesa / malaya llena de sabor. Había un montón de platos que nunca habíamos oído o antes, así que nos desplomamos por un par de curry. Mi plato de salmón era exuberante y muy rico en leche de coco. El pollo al curry de mi esposa era un poco más ligero especialmente después del salmón. Los entrantes / guarniciones son deliciosos y si hubiéramos tenido más tiempo nos habríamos atiborrado de más de ellos. Solo teníamos los rollos de primavera de pato que eran encantadores.

Deliciosa comida auténtica, buen y amable servicio, precios muy razonables. Hoy comí Laksa: bastante picante considerando que era solo 1 designación de “chile”, pero un tazón enorme de él, lleno de fideos, brotes de frijoles, pollo, tofu y verduras. Los amigos tenían diferentes platos de fideos: Me dijeron que todo delicioso. Comemos aquí cada vez que podemos encontrar una excusa para estar cerca!

Gran ambiente. Muy popular. Gran servicio, amplio menú y buenas porciones. Comida excelente relación calidad-precio. Una verdadera joya en la parte trasera de la estación de King’s Cross. Recomiendo a fondo y visitará de nuevo si está en la ubicación. Gracias.

Usé esto para una comida rápida antes de subir a mi tren. Restaurante moderno. Menú son las alfombras de mesa de papel. Tenía ensalada de gambas para empezar. Gambas bien pero sin sabor, ensalada estaba fuera de un supermercado de bolsas - que no era muy asiático. Canjeado por una excelente salsa agria. El principal fue el arroz Hainan Chicken, que era un plato de descenso de arroz y pollo sabrosos. El agua helada gratuita proporcionada y la bandeja de condimentos de varias salsas de chile era bueno.

Pequeño restaurante muy cerca de Kings Cross, calle Pancras y Coal Drops Yard. Equipo amable y acogedor y servicio rápido y eficiente. Muy sabroso Nasi Goreng. Sorprendentemente bebible Sauvignon Blanc para un cinco.

Disfrutamos de nuestros entrantes de rollitos de primavera de pato (aunque caros) y tofu. La parte principal del curry de salmón era increíblemente picante “caliente” ... Les había pedido que bajaran el tono de la especia al pedir ... ¡Creo que lo hicieron! Renbang de ternera no era picante en absoluto. El arroz es muy caro. Buen servicio en general Sillas muy incómodas £££

Visita de regreso. Comida y personal de espera consistente como el año pasado visita. No podía faltar nada. Los precios han subido un poco, pero siguen bien para Londres

La camarera fue grosera sugiriendo que yo era un alcohólico por pedir una botella de vino para dividir, lo cual era extraño, y continuó presionando esto incluso cuando obviamente no me pareció divertido. Se fue corriendo antes de tomar mi orden de comida, luego recibimos una orden doble. La comida era promedio en el mejor de los casos (aunque al menos barato). No iré de nuevo

Este es un restaurante fantástico - una joya en Kings Cross! Hemos visitado varias veces y lo hemos disfrutado cada vez. El menú es genial y no enorme, lo que me gusta. Gran selección de bebidas y las camareras son siempre atentos y muy acogedores. Me gusta especialmente el curry de salmón. Volveré...

Lovely restaurant located in the Kings Cross area, offering Southeast Asian cuisine - very much enjoyed my green Thai curry & rice meal (although, I could have done with a little more fresh chili being added to my meal). Welcoming staff, quick service, and reasonably priced. Be mindful of the opening hours when planning a visit - as on Sundays, the restaurant currently closes at 3pm.

Excellent choice on menu with friendy and very efficent service. Not to o expensive and will certain ly return if in the area. we had the fiery Sambal Udang with Hainan rice ( a first taste of this) and the Prawn Pad Thia washed down with a green and red jiuce.

Huge portions, tasty and quick service. The dishes we had were pretty authentic - the sambal could have been a bit spicier but was delicious. Will definitely return!

What an excellent little gem of a restaurant, service was great, food was amazing, really authentic Thai tastes, place was buzzing and friendly, all this and only around the corner from Kings Cross!

We have visited Ekachai a number of times of the years. The food is good, affordable and there is something for everyone. One thing I love is that we are always greeted with a warm smile by one particularly lady at this restaurant. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 on this occasion is that I noticed of recent that the staff start clearing up the table as you are still finishing up. It gives the impression that they’re trying to get you to leave asap! Other than this, please give them a try if you’re looking for a quick eat in the area.

Fabulous restaurant and if you’re in the area looking for Asian food I’d highly recommend. The dining area is small with the tables crammed in, so you’ll ideally want to have a reservation, but even without it’s worth the wait. The open kitchen is a delight to watch in action and the effective air-conditioning ensures it isn’t too realistic with an Asian climate! There’s a handful of tables on the pavement outside too. While the service felt a little slow to start with it was redeemed with a really funny and entertaining member of staff who ended up being proactive and professional for the rest of the visit. There’s a fair selection of wines and of course local Thai beers on the menu. There’s the perfect amount of options for food, without the menu getting too confusing. The main dishes were served with huge portion sizes and meant we probably shouldn’t have ordered as many starters to share, but given how tasty everything was there were no regrets! The prawn spring rolls had the perfect amount of filling and the dim sum spot on. We had an amazing evening meal, with the quality of food and staff providing great value for money. I cannot wait to return!

Prima eten voor wanneer je niet uitgebreid wilt dineren. Bij wijze van spreken kun je binnen een half uur weer buiten staan. De nasi goreng is erg smaakvol en er staat voldoende vegetarische keus op het menu.

Heard fab reviews for Hainanese rice online. Arrived for late lunch 1415 on a quick trip to London today. Hainanese Ayam rice hit all the right spots esp the chilli n ginger sauces ( would satisfy an Ipohlite or KLite foodie) Reasonable prices for this area . Had paid much more for horrid similar food in different parts of London!

This is a lovely little restaurant with loads of atmosphere & friendly staff. Very close to Kings Cross & St Pancras. The tofu Nasi Goreng, Sweet and Sour pork and the beef Hor Fun were all excellent. My husband was disappointed with the Hainan chicken.

Fantastic spot for dinner! Great location! Definitely loved the customer service and not to mention the food which was amazing. Loved their Nasi Gorang !!

A great spot to grab food after shopping. The food was tasty and all the staff very friendly. Will defo come back

Some month ago we went to Amsterdam; One of the highlights was to be a traditional Indonesian rijstafel. It tuned out to be a lowlight. Despite choosing one of the top recommended restaurants, everything tasted insipid and similar and it was very disappointing. In contrast, the food at Ekachai is ALWAYS excellent. A short menu of deliciousness - expertly prepared and served by very friendly staff. I should make mention, particularly, of the excellent waitress, BIANCA. And all this, at a very reasonable price.

Had lunch here 20/5 and it was probably the best Thai food I've ever eaten. Pleasant staff, great service and big portions. Would definitely recommend.

Was really disappointed with Ekachai, the menu looked different and I was looking forward to a chilled evening catching up with mates post work. Instead from the moment we sat down at 6.15pm, it was clear that all the restaurant was interested in was turning tables. Food was mediocre at best, portions were small. Spring rolls weren’t home made, there was no spice to the salt and pepper tofu and everything was served with generic sweet chilli sauce. Mains were just as bad, my char siu lo mein was embarrassing for £13. At 7.15 the waitress brought us the bill and card machine because the ‘7.45 table had turned up early’. Couldn’t even be bothered to argue. Avoid, so many better places to eat.

I come very often in this small restaurant. Service is very quick also because they have a small number of tables, but the quality of food is very good and not too oily. Raccomanded!

I have eaten a couple of times in the past and had good memories of tasty food for a decent price. Today they refused me, because on the fact that I am a wheelchair user. You probably will understand that I won’t go here again.
