This is my first time at Banana tree (Isling) and served by Maria. She is such a sweetheart and provided amazing service. Always check on us with a smile. She should be recognised as she is a gem here. Here do not serve Pork so it’s good for us. The food is alright. The atmosphere is great, cozy and vibing. The toilet is very clean.

Visited this branch for lunch today and had absolutely amazing service and food - the Blackened Monk Noodles and the Chilli and Cashew Stir Fries were amazing. Vamshi was our waiter and he provided a fantastic service, with a great smile and answered our questions patiently.

Had an amazing meal at Banana Tree Islington. The food was delicious and presented really well. The cocktails were a nice surprise at 2 for 1 all day every day… WINNING! All in all a great experience and our waitress Zainab was very attentive. Would recommend 100%

Great place for a group dinner, 16 of us were able to easily book a few tables all together plus split the bill quite easily. Also very fast service, good vegan options, all meat is halal (convenient for my Muslim friends) and mocktails are 2-for-1

Love this place love the food they need to change the Vibe a bit. Have a wonderful lunchtime special finishes at 5 well worth the money food is always cooked well the only thing I don't like sometimes is when they bring your starter and your main at the same time that's happened to me twice and I don't really like it but all in all lovely food.

Situated not far from Angel underground station, Banana tree has a nice selection of Thai inspired dishes. Impressed with the prominence given to vegetables in the food, as well as the selection of vegetarian dishes. The wooden benches are a bit uncomfortable for longer than an hour sitting.

We had lovely Ahmed at the angel branch and he made us feel really welcome.

Vinimos al restaurante para una comida previa al teatro. Mi compañero llegó primero a los 18. 00 . Los cócteles que pidió para los dos llegaron unos 30 minutos después. Tuvimos que llamar al camarero para dar nuestra orden de comida a las 18. 40 . Pedimos un entrante y plato principal. Sin señales de ninguno de ellos para el 19. 10 , me acerqué al camarero y le pedí que cancelara el arranque y que preguntara por el plato principal. . finalmente llegó a las 19 . 18 . Apenas tuvimos tiempo de comer la mitad antes de tener que irnos. La única cosa que el personal hizo bien fue ofrecernos las bebidas en la casa . . tuvieron suerte de obtener nada de nosotros. Una debacle totalmente inaceptable. Este restaurante tiene muy poco personal.

Thank you Vamshi for a pleasant experience. The service made the experience great. The Thai green curry lacked flavor and vegan crackers were soggy. If it was not for Vamshi’s pleasant behaviour I would have walked out. The chef needs to really step up.

I enjoy coming here for lunch as they have a great lunch deal for £9.95 which includes a main and a drink (£4 extra for a side). This is incredible value for the portion size and the quality of the dishes. The pad Thai and spring rolls are delicious!

Very happy with our time at Banana Tree tonight. The staff were friendly and our thanks go to Maria, who took extra special care of us. We've been once before and left very happy with the delicious food and service, so we're super excited to come back. They have a great menu but nothing beats the Chicken Massaman Curry! Thank you!

Truly delicious pad Thai, great cocktails which are always on a 2 for 1 deal. Very busy, reservations needed, although we did go on Saturday night, but a lovely atmosphere. As it is busy, recommend leaving more time than you might think if heading to an event afterwards

This banana tree is my absolute favourite, the staff are so efficient and welcoming. Our food arrived very quickly. Thank you to Ahmed for being so lovely and checking up on us always. Would recommend going very friendly. The food was so good as well!! Love the Katsu curry and chicken dumplings

The Islington branch of banana tree is much more peaceful (at least at the time I went a few months ago) compared to Soho. While solo dining, Ahmed was an absolutely amazing server - super charismatic, lovely and entertaining. Probably the only time I have ever remembered a server fully for their service and anyone who has had the pleasure of him handling your table would agree :)

i had the beef rendang which was very nice but very expensive for what it was. there are also only 2-3 gluten free options and the prices are also quite high overall.

I really enjoyed eating here nice clean atmosphere and nicely decorated the food and drinks was very nice and tasty the only thing is you couldn't taste any coconut in the coconut rice. Overall I was still happy the chicken wings were absolutely delicious full of flavour and nice and juicy.

Had a delicious Pad Thai at Banana Tree in Angel! The dish was packed with vibrant flavors – from the fresh chilies to the crunchy peanuts, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Great balance of spice and texture, and the presentation was spot on. Highly recommend for anyone craving flavorful, authentic Asian food!

Mi pareja y yo queríamos cenar antes de la actuación de Wing Chun en Sadlers Wells y como parece ser un lugar popular con muy pocos restaurantes en esa zona, elegimos comer aquí. La comida es cuando menos decepcionante y la calidad y frescura de la comida también es pobre.

Estuvimos en Banana Tree hace muchos años cuando fuimos a ver un espectáculo en Sadler's Wells y en ese entonces encontramos la comida y el servicio bien, pero nada especial. Esta vez no estábamos planeando ir allí, pero la mayoría de los restaurantes estaban cerrados como era domingo. No había mucha gente en ese momento sobre otras 3 mesas, así que pensamos que sería una comida rápida que era perfecto para nosotros, ya que teníamos un espectáculo para llegar. Pedí el cóctel y fue agradable. Teníamos un trato de 2 por 1, pero se sirvió en un vaso alto con mucho hielo, así que solo duró unos sorbos. Solo quería un arranque rápido así que pedí galletas de gambas que eran agradables pero un poco rancio. Estábamos esperando un rato por la comida y como estaba sentado frente a la cocina pude ver que la comida estaba lista para un rato pero nadie nos la llevaba así que tuvimos que alertar a alguien. Para cuando la comida nos llegó tuvimos que apresurarnos así que acabo de terminar la mitad de mi comida. Pagamos en línea a través del código QR y el precio llegó a casi £ 60 para dos de nosotros. Han añadido £ 7 gráfico al servicio que no podía editar al pagar en línea, así que solo lo pagué como nos apresurábamos a ir. Todavía estoy destripado sobre el costo y el servicio. Entiendo que el costo de vida es alto ahora, pero cuando la calidad de los alimentos no coincide con el precio, siento que perderán clientes rápidamente.

Traté de llamar con respecto a un pedido de alergia que queríamos hacer, atendí 6 llamadas para que respondieran. la mujer en el teléfono fue extremadamente grosera, diciendo que no es nuestro problema y que necesita llamar a Deliveroo y hablarán con ellos. Muy decepcionado como las críticas para la comida se ven muy bien. No recomendaría para cualquiera que tenga alergias.

Excellent service pleasent atmosphere. Open plan kitchen food was prepared fresh and presented in a colourful and tasty way. Priced very reasonable forl London. Looking forward to making future visits.

Me and my friend got chicken dumplings and sticky thai wings for starters which were amazing, esp the wings. At first i was going to give service 0 stars, we had a server tell us she was going to get a pencil to take our order but instead she went to 2 other tables and next thing i know shes out of her work uniform..but another server, Ahmed, made up for it by prioritising our order with the chef and entertaining us with small talk. He was so sweet
