Ordered 5/6/19 via Deliveroo, ordered 2 Original cokes and got diet, ordered a latte at an additional cost and got filter coffee, ordered 2 desserts and only one arrived, and to top it all off the milkshake we ordered came and we’ve picked out 8 small splinters of wood after my friend cut her lip drinking it so god knows how many she’s consumed!!!!!! would never normally go out of my way to even leave a review but this goes beyond trivial complaints !!! Also they have no number so u cannot contact a staff member unless you go in directly.

Amazing food quantity and quality for the prize will keep coming here in the future!

Great little cafe that does full English breakfast, American pancakes, sausage cobs, coffees and milkshakes. Just what you need at 9am in the morning on a Saturday.

Nipped in here today and had a strawberry sundae and a cupcake while my boyfriend had a nutella milkshake. My sundae was ok, however it had over frozen icecream/ice in and no fruit in sight. Then the cupcake, it was seriously the worst cupcake I've had and the dog ended up eating it in which he even ended up choking on. It had clearly been sat there days, was ridiculously dry, icing hard and was just disgusting. Then to top it off my boyfriend's milkshake was warm!!

Fantastic food, serving both English and American style breakfasts, superb price and the most friendly staff you can ever want. Happy to chat and serve and welcome you back time after time, disabled accessible and friendly.

We got a takeaway breakfast from here, only thing I would change is if they did black pudding otherwise lovely, filling and fresh. Will be back

Owned by the same people as the 'refresh cafe' and so I knew the food would be good, but it was fab, pancakes milkshakes, burgers hot dogs, you just have to start at the top and work your way down the menu, All cooked to perfection and the service is 2nd to none. The café is a little out of the way and so it needs more people to recommend it, but once found, you will never go anywhere else, perfection cannot be bettered in Arnold, The only slight problem now is which place to go to, Refresh or A J's.!

Nice little greasy spoon type cafe, with american theme. Well priced and good portion sizes. Dont expect classy 5* dining. Great for a cheap bit of food. The 2 people running it seemed friendly and service was good. I will be visiting again

It was absolutely amazing and American food is amazing I'm quite a fan. Everything was beautiful and i don't know what else to say I rate it one of the best in Nottingham
