Eighty-Three in Bournemouth

We visited this little gem of a cafe to escape the persistent rain & we are so glad we did. The rhubarb muffins were exceptional & had been freshly baked that morning & the lose-leaf tea was excellent. This will be our goto Cafe whenever we visit Bournemouth.

Lovely little coffee shop with some outside seating out the back. CHOICE of homemade GLUTEN FREE cakes - very nice! No ridiculous scanning of QR codes like many places have adopted as they don’t say if something is gluten free. Cake is away from other cakes in separate container.

Excellent Cake and Coffee! Cake was very good I felt like eating another slice or two not because the portion was small (it was large) but it was a very good home made cake. Plenty of space and clean. Friendly service.

Very empty when we arrived, few cakes Assistant not very friendly, very cold reception. Will not go again! So many other welcoming cafes and restaurants in Westbourne.

Beautiful cafe in Westbourne. Amazing coffee, the tastiest sweet treats and the friendliest staff. Dog friendly too which really tops it off. The best brownies you’ll find, and the calmest atmosphere making it a great place to relax and even get some work done.

Wow, that vegan banana cake was unreal! I'm not vegan, but love banana flavoured sweet treats and this did not disappoint. Also had a flat white without any of my usual sugar as got distracted and it was perfect without 👌

Amazing cakes and brownies, lovely staff and service. Had the coffee brownie which was lovely, and a generous portion. Great to have gluten free options available as my daughter has coeliac disease Nd often misses out.

Very disappointed. Tried to call numerous times book work lunch. No answer . We needn't had worried. Deserted. This place use to be so good. No atmosphere. No christmas decorations. Gone downhill. Service wasn't the best either . But the worse bit no lunch options. Just soup! Why advertise brunch on your website with pictures of sandwiches and salads when you don't do them.!! So we just ended up having drinks. Wish we had gone back to Delish. Crazy in the winter not doing hot food at lunch time . No wonder it was empty on a Friday lunchtime!!!!

I was in the area and could not resist popping in for tea and cake!! I took away the rocky road, Victoria sponge and malteaser slice which were all delicious, I think the rocky road is my favourite though so I’ll be back for more soon no doubt! My kids have already asked for more! I also enjoyed a perfect pot of tea made with tea leaf’s and as a fussy tea drinker - I wasn’t disappointed! Lovely atmosphere in the cafe, friendly staff as always and great priced items. A 5* cafe all round 😊

Amazing tea and excellent cake. A great visit when we come down from Brighton. Rebecca also baked my son and daughter in laws cake as well as my wife’s birthday cake. A perfect spot in the heart of Westbourne. Brownies are also amazing!

This is the third time back. I'm not local so when in the area make sure I visit. Fantastic coffee. Tasty croissant. Friendly staff. Clean and great little courtyard garden too. I'm pleased to hear they are bringing back soup and toasties as cakes are not always wanted. Excellent brownies too though from a previous visit.

I’ve visited before and it’s that amazing I’m back again!! I enjoyed a hazelnut latte and couldn’t resist the cookies and brownies for my kids who have begged me for more since! I tried the banana muffin and it’s the best I’ve ever tried! Will definitely return again!
