Exquisite menu and excellent service.

The food always impresses here and it’s a lovely venue to visit. Front of house were polite welcoming and helpful. Having been here using Groupon half a dozen times before and always impressed sadly the service by the waitresses really dulled the visit. Serving the table with the champagne in complete silence, a bit awkward. Cutlery replaced in a haphazard way then serving plates onto the cutlery. Other times putting the plates down in a way that the plate would rattle around on the table, I noticed similar service for our neighbouring table who politely told the waitress it would be nicer for their special occasion to have the food delivered in a gentler way. There was no explanation of the dishes either upon delivery of food. We had the menu so could look at what we were having so not a big deal but the parts of service all add up negating from the experience. If this is what is to now be expected I sadly wouldn’t return again as there are so many better places to go to even though it is a good deal through Groupon

The gym was definitely an upgrade from what I'm used to. Really happy with the PT session I booked with trainer Pete - I'll be booking another!

We went for dinner on a special occasion after the reviews and we found the whole experience quite disappointing. We had a warm welcome from the lady in the reception and the decoration of the place is elegant and modern. We used a Groupon voucher and soon noticed that the few tables booked were through this discount. Apart from the starter and the duck breast which were ok, we found the food tasteless. Service is slow. From arrival and after choosing the menu (regular or vegetarian), we waited one hour until getting the first course. We got service charge on the top of what we previous paid for the voucher. I wouldn't recommend it and it is not worth it (even with the discount). Better choices in London for that money.

The 7 course taster menu is divine. A must try. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

We had a meal with 7 course dinner. The meal was nice . The staff are friendly and the food was good value for money. We definitely will go again.

Great venue, very helpful staff

We had our work Christmas party in the Beaufort Room - all staff were so friendly and helpful. The room is big enough for a standing drinks reception, DJ, blackjack table, large photo booth and large buffet table. Would highly recommend.

What a beautiful experience we had at this venue last night. I had booked it for my colleagues many times before and every time I received exceptional feedback. The booking process and customer service were always flawless, so I already had a positive impression that it would not disappoint the expectations. And in fact, the venue is very beautiful, with wonderful decor, great art pieces, and a warm atmosphere. Furthermore, the food was delicious, and the wine choice was just great! Looking forward to my next visit here!!

Awesome touch down members club for the travelling remote worker. As a guest i enjoyed a refreshing sparkling water and a flat white coffee, served by polite and friendly staff. The ambience in this place is chilled and not at all stuffy like some shared spaces can be. Awesome decor, wall art and layout for easy drop in and in a cool London area!

Worst experience ever Absolutely awful experience, we had a 7 course tasting meal, on arriving at the restaurant we were told this menu isn’t running until next year. Not one person tried to contact us to notify us that this menu wasn’t running, let alone trying to accommodate their guests for a menu we had already pre paid for which doesn’t exist. Absolutely no effort was made to try and rectify the situation and the manager IGNASIO and reception manager MARINA simply tried to put that blame onto us. We will never be coming back here again and they should be ashamed to treat guests in such a way. Show less

Great venue , we had a retirement function which went great staff were very friendly.

Popped in for a breakfast meeting. Some of the table space outside the library was a bit too noisy due to people on calls without headphones but the lounge area was great. Having subsequently visited again, it was much quieter and a really lovely setting however we had to wait a long time for our food despite it being quiet.

You'll need to be a member, or, know somebody who is, to meet here. Food and service is excellent though.

Beautiful place to conduct a wedding

Went to this venue for a boat club event - staff members were quite rude towards myself and my friends, upon arrival they were looking at my friends trainers and questioning if they would let her in (even though on the ticket they didn’t specify a dress code for girls not to wear trainers) They also ‘advised’ my friend to put her jacket in the cloakroom as they said it ‘dresses down’ her outfit. One of my friends got charged £30 for a drink, when we all were charged £15 for the same drink. Staff members weren’t helpful when one of my friends had lost their belongings they didn’t bother to help search. The event was supposed to finish at 11, but they stopped the music & event at 10, and everyone had to leave the building in the lift (which only allows 6 at a time,) this took forever for us all to exit as there wasn’t another option to use the stairs, which is definitely a safety hazard. Wouldn’t recommend going to this venue for a boat club event again.

The food was excellent, however it may have been nice if the waiting staff were not quite so perfunctory, although this was probably their training. Overall a very nice experience.

Great place to meet with Business Colleagues (or prospective Clients) in the center of London 👍. It has a nice luxurious feel about it, without being 'pompous/snooty'. Location is great, venue is very comfortable with lots of places to sit, Service is great. It has a nice outside Balcony area with Tables and Chairs, that looks like it would be great to use in the Summer - being on the 8th floor also means it has great views too 👍 Bar upstairs is also very good👍

A wonderful place to relax and have great food, the service is fantastic with great energy and professionalism there's a great view from the rooftop garden. A great place for a date or with a group of friends. The decor is fabulous too.

Eight Club is a fantastic venue. I have been most recently for a private event (of which there are two floors to choose from, which allows for multiple private bookings). I have also been previously during the day, and it's the perfect place for a meeting, catch up, or wind down right in the heart of the City.

It is meant to be a members club only, however they allow anyone in their club. The kitchen was not working the one time that I went so I had to order from a limited menu. It is closed both saturday and Sunday.

Easily accessible central London private member's club, that is also hidden away from the city on a quieter street. Plush surroundings and interesting artwork adorn this place.

It is a private club restaurant, but you can dine in without membership. Just go in through the white door and ask if it is available. This club restaurant serves more formal group activities, and the waiters are very nice! Very gentle and considerate. Most of the people who come here are in suits and ties. I ordered an Orkney beef fillet (medium well) and a salad. Before the meal, the waiter served a small fried batter with some vegetables mixed in and a little sauce underneath. The fried potato shreds in the main were very fragrant. Mixed with sauce and mashed potatoes, each restaurant has a different understanding of the degree of cooked steak. The medium well in this restaurant is quite cooked on the outside, but still very tender in the middle, but it is delicious (in line with my taste) , and then there are three small pieces of lobster. The taste is good, but the quantity is not complimentary. The sauce of the salad is very clear. The last dessert is blue cheese (don’t imitate me). The cheese tastes very mellow. The waiter lady He even thoughtfully asked me if I would like a cup of coffee. The cocktails here in the UK are still different from those in Canada. Ms. Shirley Temple helped me ask the chef to make them. The service was praised again! 60p per person, for reference only. Off-topic: I searched 8 Club on Xiaohongshu. It feels like it’s more like a restaurant in China. The ones here tend to be private clubs with joint services. It’s both local and local, but the group is quite powerful, and it can be considered a multinational international club.

Paid a fortune for a very hot, quite smelly room which was organised for our work Christmas party. One of our senior members of staff was accused of stealing gin he received in a secret Santa and even after reviewing CCTV we were offered no apology and had to leave. Very unfortunate and a sad end to an otherwise fun evening!

Company event in a private room. • Stiflingly hot and being told there was nothing that could be done about it. Only to have air conditioning turned on after an hour. • Needing to ask to play background music multiple times. • Uninterested staff members at the start of service. • Sewage smell for about half an hour and being told ‘that happens quite a lot and nothing can be done’. • Accusations of theft of a bottle of Roku Gin against a member of my staff. • Continued accusations of theft by a manager with a refusal to apologise once CCTV had been checked.

Went there for a private event and the venue was impeccable! Great food to nibble on, the cocktails are perfectly done (especially the old fashion)! I haven't tried the restaurant but if it's as good as the rest then I am sure it's great.

Very Nice. Private members club but it does have a public restaurant which is good and the setting is nice to escape the Shoreditch/City streets. Bit of an oasis. Also the best secret gym in town! But don't tell anyone.

We came here in a group of four with a promotion voucher from groupon for a 7-course tasting menu. The venue was great. The location is prime, but ofc with pandemic, it’s rather quiet now. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. We booked in advance. The food was good in quality, but not amazing - definitely not the best tasting menu we had in the similar price range. So the food was a bit disappointing. The service was okay. Other than serving us food, we don’t see the waitress often. But the service charge was high. With the groupon voucher, we still received another £35 service charge at the end. Some details could definitely be improved for a high-end restaurant. For example, there are misspelling in the menu and the service can be more friendly and welcoming.

My visit to this restaurant was a Lovely experience. My daughter and i felt that the service was excellent. I am looking forward to my next visit with friends.

I really like this place, went there few days ago for a tasting menu which is really nice but the portions are extremely small . I’m small girl that doesn’t that much but I left hungry after that meal . I would suggest chefs trying that menu and see if they are full up after 😅

Disappointing. Had the tasting menu and the food was forgettable at best. The service unfortunately wasn't much better. No menu provided, only told what was being put in front of us for half the courses. First drink arrived after finishing the 1st course and no one thought to ask how our meal was at the end, but that may be because my face and demeanour didn't hide my disappointment. May have been an off day or serving as I certainly don't understand the positive reviews after what I experienced.

Top notch service, absolutely adorable people working there who are keen to help

My boyfriend and I went for dinner at the Quartier Restaurant. The place is classic refine, with lovely interns and art around. The terrace is nice, the view isn’t excellent, but we liked ding outside, even at the end of October. The cuisine is European-English based, the food wasn’t bad but we were expecting a bit more from a fine dining. We really loved the goat cheese and beetroot cake, the star dish for us, and I really liked the aubergine caviar with teriyaki glazed Shiitake mushrooms. We had two chameleon cocktails, tequila based, which were incredible and the presentation with the drink that changes colour was very enjoyable. The service was impeccable and overall we had a very nice evening.

Attention!! Bar staff forces you to pay two times for your drinks and threatens you with the security!! Can´t recommend to anyone...
