Efe's Kebab, Burger & Pizza in Denbighshire

Sent us a burnt pizza tried to eat it had one but it was awful we called to have it collected or redone and the owner himself had a very bad attitude. He said it will be refunded online which is bang out of order as now I will have to wait days for my refund. We are regulars so to treat us like this shouting your mouth off down the phone is disgusting. You have lost regular customers now👏🏻

Never visited before, pizza was delicious however felt a bit hard done with chicken sheesh kebab it was very small for the prize although tasty! Would definitely visit again for a pizza but the kebab was not value for money.

This has got to be one of the worst takeaways for service and expense ive ever been too. When youre paying £9.50 for a large mixed donner and chicken kebab, you expect good quality meat and it to be large. If that's the large, I wouldn't like to see the normal. Asked for chilli sauce on it, and had the tiniest amount. Ive given 2 stars as the garlic bread with cheese, was really nice, even though that was £7 for a 9 inch. Definitely won't be going back there again.

14 inch pizza with lamb doner, pineapple, spicy chicken and garlic. First slice was lovely, but then a strange aftertaste. Guessing its the garlic. Cheesy chips and mayo. Loads of cheese which is good, chips could do with cooking a little longer for my taste. Delivered in under an hour. Food still warm, although put chips in micro for 30 secs.

I ordered here on Sunday 31st of August - asked for a mixed chicken n donner kebab and a 12 inch pizza and salad seperate (which cost £1.75 apparently) - the guy asked for £26 POUNDS which seemed steep but went with it anyway as I didn't have the energy to argue with someone who could barely be polite never mind hold a conversation. I returned home with a very doughy pizza (base was barely cooked) and a chicken kebab (no donner) that was inedible...£26 pounds! Avoid at all costs.

Ordered a delivery from here last night and the kebab meat and pizza tasted like cardboard. Worst food I’ve had

I started giving my order after waiting to be served for 10 mins. Me and my partner the only ones in the shop. After the phone got anwsered a good 6 times the whole time we are stood there waiting for our orders to be taken. The man looks at me saying yes? I started ordering our food he then rudely put his hand up to my face and says wait and left us stood their looking at us like we shouldn't even be in the shop so we left. made to feel very unwelcome and uncomfy never will I return here again. went to another one on the highstreet call best kabab so much nicer more welcoming and defo be vistiting again

On holiday with my husband and kids and decided to get a kebab on the way back to our caravan. Drove into prestatyn and not alot was open and then we spotted this particular place. Looked pretty clean and the staff seemed nice, took around 25 mins to make us 2 Lamb kebabs but this wasnt really a huge issue we thought if it was busy witb ordered then it should be nice food . We were very wrong . Drove about 5 mins to where we were staying so the food Should of been still warm. When we opened the kebabs they were cold and we had got donner meat instead of lamb which we had asked for. The salad was brown and the pitta bread was stale. The donner meat tasted like water and we had asked for a sprinkle of cheese, looked as though they had used a full bag of cheese on each kebab not even melted to hide away the horrid food that was underneath. £13 for the worst tasteless cold stale kebab ive ever aten. Not to mention cheap tasteless donner meat instead of the lamb that we ordered! Dont waste your money would rather of had toast!

Please do not go to this take, absolutely atrocious. Complete rip off, absolutely disgusting for this day and age, save money go somewhere else.

I have visited a few times during lockdown. The food is avaerage at best. The staff are very rude and i have never seen them wash their hands. Handling take out bags then straight into your food. Have a look next time you visit. Don't take cards even in a pandemic. Should be closed down. Handle money then your food.

at least once a week i have a lamb donner and my wife has a hawaiian pizza and loves it. as for me it is the best kebab i have had and i am 68

We tried efes out of curiosity. It's the best kebab in prestatyn by far. Great food, great service and great staff. Highly recommended

Best pizzas going. Very generous with their toppings. Very, very tasty. Friendly service. Thank you to all the staff at efes for always delivering good food to my door. Merry Christmas and Happy new year!! This is thin based with only 4 toppings, they pile them in. :-)

After visiting this place many of times over the years it’s safe to say it is definitely going downhill. I will not be returning. Sadly the owner is a very busy man looking after his family but I wish he wouldn’t leave rude and incompetent people in charge of his establishment. When he is there the service is fantastic and the food likewise. When he’s not there, you’re faced with the following. Walked in after trying to telephone my order through (no one answering the phone), we weren’t even greeted. Stood there for ages, tried to place our order to be told ‘no, I’m busy’. Wow. Okay, wait a little longer, 3 orders from the internet come in, straight away a member of staff jumping onto them. Erm hello we are still here waiting to be served. A staff member FINALLY came back to take our order. Can we please have a 9” meat feast pizza? Before I even had chance to say what else I wanted he interrupted with a ‘20-25 minute wait’. Erm no thank you I’m not waiting that length of time after having already spent 10 minutes waiting for our order be taken! Absolute joke. Maybe if he had taken our order when we entered the premises it wouldn’t have been far off cooked! Went to the best at the bottom of town and had a lovely 9” meat feast amongst the rest of our food order and was greeted immediately upon arrival even though the shop was busy- oh and a free cheesy garlic bread for spending over a certain amount! Now that’s customer service (I didn’t even wait 20-25 minutes there!)

Don't order from here. After years of using this place, tonight I ordered a pepperoni with extra pepperoni and got barely any pepperoni, I rang to complain that there was barely any pepperoni let alone the extra pepperoni I paid for, and got told he was coming to check my pizza. I asked if he was bringing a replacement pizza with him and he said no, he said they don't acknowledge transactions on their own website and they don't refund money then he hung up on me. Still not here to check my lack of pepperoni pizza...and I'm a long time customer, imagine if you're a one off to them

Absolute joke of a place! Chips could of done with a bit longer out in the sun!! These fellas are the most miserable you could meet, bad customer service!

We called in on a very quiet Sunday night. There was one other couple waiting to be served before us. For a simple order we had to wait over half an hour and we're treated incredibly rudely my girlfriend in particular and when asked at the end if I wanted a sauce on my kebab the man serving me got angry that I said yes saying I should have said so at the begging. It is not value for money the food was mediocre and over priced and the service is appaling very unfriendly and arrogant. Save yourself the misery of going here and being treated like your causing them a great inconvenience by spending your money. There are far better options in Prestatyn and I honestly hope they go out of business they do not deserve patronage.

Ordered for first time tonight myself and my partner had the special kebab which was really nice.I ordered the 6pc chicken box for my children when I opened it chicken pieces were tiny and over cooked and there was not even a portion of chips for one you could still see the bottom of the box there was about 20 chips.We called to explain this and asked if they could send out some more chips and we will pay the extra his reply was no we are busy and that was that.Staff are miserable all the time as we normally collect and customer service is TerribleIt’s a shame really as the kebabs are really nice but there is no way I’m going to order from here again to much attitude

Ordered Food for delivery and it took an hour and a half to turn up, The guy that came to the door didn’t say a word. Finally got the food, sat down to eat it to be given cold Donner meat, Uncooked chips and none of the drinks we ordered.

FANTASTIC Chips and Chilli Great FAST food .. will return again .. good choice of food and always fresh

Food is always hot. Delivered on time. Kebabs are fab, especially the chicken ones. Will miss this place when we move house.

Totally uncooked Chicken pink and bloody inside. Would never go here again has happened to friends of mine as well.

Not from Prestatyn so I found this place on the internet. Ended up choosing this one as it was on the high street. The place looks very clean, the food however is not up to scratch. We had a meat feast pizza and a mixed donner kebab (lamb & chicken). The pizza was incredibly greasy and the kebab meat was in chunks rather than strips and the chicken was really fatty as it still had the skin on it.

They make really nice food and really easy to order. I would recommend this to anyone. They even deliver to you.

Second visit to Efes, food good on both occasions, well priced, nice staff and is clean- would recommend

Este kebab House está bien y la comida es bastante agradable, pero en mi opinión los precios son muy altos para el tipo de comida que te dan.

I've had a lot of takeaways from them. I live in a large household and there's normally someone ordering food a few times a week and Efe's was the go to kebab shop. The foods not bad, it's just an average kebab shop like the other 3 or 4 in Prestatyn, we just went there out of habit. My partner ordered a Kebab last night and they accidentally put Chilli on it which she didn't ask for. She phoned them up to find out whether we had accidentally asked for Chilli or was it their mistake and they said No we didn't and it was their mistake. They then told her that they were to busy to come and sort it out so just put something on it and it wont be that hot. She couldn't eat it, my partner can just about cope with a Chicken Korma! For them to have that sort of attitude is a disgrace, especially considering the amount of money we've spent their over the years. With 3 or 4 other Kebab shops within a mile radius, they shouldn't have that sort of attitude because now they've lost out on a lot of custom.

This is somewhere everyone comes to after a night out as it is placed at the top of town. The men that work here do not give females a nice feeling but in fact stare for a very long time! Staff are very moody

Seems to me the main priority is taking the money from you!This is the only kebab between the two mainstream bars in the town. The owner is okay with drunk customers, The rest of the staff are not. As when under the influence of alcohol it's not easy to understand noise level. After being rudely insulted by one of the kitchen staff dude to noise level and the despicable look he gave me, I'm now extremely annoyed at this place. And will not be returning.+side is that if you want a pizza in the day it's the 1st to open around 4:00. But even then it's s**t customer service.

Foods always great from here, always delivered very fast too. Not always correct items sent, double check when ordering that it's all right!

I ordered a pizza and a chicken kebab for takeaway and unfortunately the chicken was raw and smelt off , so we ate the pizza and we were both ill for two days with s and d, we went there again thinking it was a coincidence, it wasn't we was ill yet again saw the doctor and was told it was food poisening, phoned the council to be told it was a 1 in the food hygiene rating and that was because they had to give them somthing, GIVE IT A MISS

This place is the absolute worst place. The food is nasty and tasteless. If you can call it food. More like horse manure. I wouldn't feed this to the devil himself. I called the health department when I saw german cock roaches all over the place.

We never have any problems with Efe's, the staff are always great and the food is wonderful. We have been using rhe same pizza/kebab place from the day it opened!

Miserable staff. Clearly only one member of staff can serve at the till. Waited for 15 minutes stood there at the counter while they all ignored us so we just left. Have had food from there before but it's not been the best. Have asked for the salad to be on top of the kebab in the past and was told 'No' by the miserable owner. Alright food. Rubbish service.

I've been going here for about 3/4 years on and off and it's always top of the list for a kebab and chips and cheese.. However, it's not always nice, and not always consistent but it depends who is on. There is a young lad who is on the counter and the phones on occasions, he is brilliant. The delivery guys and the manager are awesome guys too and are very friendly. 9 times out of 10 the food will be great and hot, but on the odd occasion (not sure if it's when they are mad busy) you may get cold chips/onion rings/onion bhajis/kebabs but the pizzas are ALWAYS spot on. I would recommend this place but needs to brush up on consistently providing the hottest and freshest food.

Friendly advice, I don't usually write reviews but I wanted to inform others on the food we received.So we ordered from Efes tonight and were very disappointed with the food we received. We have ordered from Efes once before and the food was fine, but this time it wasn't. My mother ordered a kebab, well I don't think it can be called a kebab! It smelt absolutely disgusting, like dirty bath water. I actually gagged myself when I sniffed it. When my mother bit into it she had to spit it back out because it tasted so off, there was no way that this was fresh chicken. And I am only getting started.... then my sister was about to eat her burger but the bread smelt off and this completely ruined her appetite. So she rang Efes and explained the situation on the horrible food we were given. The man on the phone was not understanding whatsoever. My sister explained to the man that he was being unfair. The food smelt so bad we were all close to throwing up. The man then said the food is fine he made it himself and it is fresh. Well it was the complete opposite of that. We explained to him that we have ordered from there once before and last time the food was fine. So he went on to saying that the food is always cooked in the same way so there shouldn't be any problems.The man was very unprofessional and disregarded my sister when she told the man that the food was off. He then rudely hung up on her, this shows at how poor the service is and how the matter was not taken seriously. At this point me and my family were furious, my other sister decided to call them back up, then he again hung up on us and claimed that we were wasting his time.This shows he is failing again to see where we are coming from and recognize that we have paid for an inedible meal. This proves that obviously something was not right with the food.It is ridiculous and this should've have been taken in a professional manner. The customer should always come first and they should never be hung up on. Fair enough if they said they'd take a look at the food or replace it, but no he couldn't see our side of what happened. We are never coming back to this fast food restaurant and I should warn you that you shouldn't either because the service that is run is very poor.

Seem more professional than most takeaways. Brilliant selection of drinks and staff always polite, usually on time even though don't live in Prestatyn, only been 20mins late at the most. Food unfortunately is hit and miss, sometimes it is done perfectly, sometimes it is dry and overcooked. I think it is better when they are less busy - Sundays and Mondays, those are the only days I order now.

Each Friday over a three week period I tried a doner kebab from three different establishments in Prestatyn.For me Efes was the tastiest, largest and best prepared and oddly enough slightly cheaper and the others.So well done.As an aside.The kebab from Haruns lower down in town was the worst price, tasteless, and the smallest size of kebab I have ever had, It was absolutely awful."The Best" kebab shop served a kebab that was tasty and good size but served in a pizza base not pita bread. This spoilt the whole experience.

Love the pizzas here!!! Had the chips once but they weren't that great so we just stick to the pizzas now
