Best experience! Took 3 kebabs in pita and they were huge, fresh and very tasty!

Cold chicken, very stiff and covered with so much salad I couldn’t find it in the beginning. Paid £40 and didn’t enjoy my food ☹️

Shrinkflation hits the portion size since they’ve re-opened. Still nice but us long standing customers will notice

£18.00 on a kebabs for it to be so greasy!. Never order again... I asked for well done that wasn't well done or there would be no fat!!!!

Delivery time was 30 minutes as soon as we placed the order this went to over an hour. Wouldn’t have ordered if it had a true delivery time displayed. When the food got there the wrap was soggy, the halloumi wasn’t cooked and the chips were cold. Won’t be ordering from here again

Shish kebabs chicken and lamb dry and rubbery like they had been cooked before and reheated. Disappointed.

We order from Effler a lot and I was very disappointed. There was hardly any red cabbage compared to normal and Chip portion size was really small . More like a small portion instead of a large .

Worst kebab I have ever had in my life….. never go to this place for a kebab.Cheap meat obviously as it was not even given in normal kebab style, it was like I was given scraps! Plus it had so many fatty bits! Go apsley fish bar….. they do a much better kebab

This is a truly wonderful place to order a takeaway from, I think this is the best Kebab shop in Hemel. The food was once again really delicious as we've previously used this shop before, and when I placed the order the gentleman on the phone wrote down everything to the letter and we got our order as we requested. The order arrived within the time frame given and the delivery driver was very polite and helpful. I will definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you for a great meal and delivery service. The doner meat tasted like corned beef. Inedible and really off putting.

The food was all nice apart from the rice which had a really odd taste to it. I couldn't eat it. Also, no pots of sauce were given with the rice and chicken wings which was disappointing.

I sometimes go in here for a takeaway as it is very close to the place i spend most of my time nowadays. I especially like being able to watch my food being cooked. There is a cheese burger under £5 which is very nice indeed with the pickled red cabbage.

Best kebab I’ve had for a long time .

The last 2 times I ordered from here the food has been disgusting. The bread has been dry and the meat has been old. It’s been hard and gristly. We used to order from here roughly once a week. Will be finding a new kebab restaurant after this.

Just had the most disgusting chicken kebab from Efeler. Definitely won't be ordering from there again.

Efeler is my favourite Kebab shop in Hemel Hempstead and the surrounding area. My family have been going to Efeler for many years, ever since we moved to Hemel Hempstead. Everybody is always very friendly and helpful and the food is always really well cooked and very tasty. I really like the combo kebabs. Very nice chilli sauce as well. I would highly recommend Efeler to all.

Nice enough but the Chicken doner wrap was so oily & greasy it went through the wrapping & leaked into the bag through 2 layers. Put the Mrs off before she touched it

Ordered 3 chicken shish, unfortunately my meal had a piece of what looked like gravel. I would attach a photo if I could. Other than that the food was good. Ordered from here before and obviously had no such issue.

Really good food and great portion size

Back in 1991 I first visited the Efeler and discovered their egg burgers 🍔 Back in those days they cost £1.30! They are a little more than that now but oh my goodness they are still just as amazing!!! The food here is just fab and the staff are warm and friendly. I have moved away from the area now but every time I get the chance I will be going in and ordering food. Such a lovely experience going back in after all these years. Honestly guys get down there for authentic kebabs, burgers, chips, soft drinks and much more. You will love it!! They are open late too for those times when only a kebab will do!! Highly recommend

Fantastic first experience of this restaurant. Food tasted delicious and the order was delivered incredibly early. Couldn’t fault it and we’ll most definitely be ordering from here again. Well done, guys!

Food was delayed for 20 minutes, and when I got the "on its way" notification a journey that should have been 10 minutes took 25 minutes. Of course the food arrived cold and greasy. The driver did apologise though.

Superb kebab just ordered from here on the UE app. Efeler Special with Chilli Sauce absolutely delicious!! Best kebab in Hemel. Just make Chilli Sauce a bit hotter :)

Terrible!!!! Which is a shame as normally I have had great service from here. On this occasion “just eat” set it to “”collection” for the restaurant. When I called to ask where my food was, I was shouted at….. and I mean SHOUTED at!!!! That I had ordered a collection….. I tried to arrange a delivery and the same man who shouted at me before would not listen and then sent the screening shot of the order to me showing my name with “collection” by it,l requested to arrange delivery and the person at the end of then line just wanted to shout at me so I couldn’t continue. …… never will I order from here again with this terrible customer service !!!!!

Fries and salads are great. Meat.. doesn’t taste like a meat.. a little bit disappointed to be honest.. portions are very big ( I’ve ordered small and large doner kebabs) but even this, I don’t think I’ll use this takeaway more..

Fresh food Well presented, though Cold Salad in foli tray with hot food not ideal. It was fine...would request it packaged separately in future. Problem solved 😌

Food was hot which was nice for a change. However the donner was really poor quality. Felt like it was wet and mushy. And if that was classed as a large then I’m very disappointed. Won’t be ordering from here again!

The food is excellent and such a wonderful service, the staff are so lovley both in house and deliveries. I thouroghly reccomend Effler take-away restaurant for its amazing service.

I've used this restaurant for many years but today is probably the last time. The donor meat served today was disgusting, it had the consistency, taste, and smell that reminded me of dog food. I hate being so critical but it was hands down the worst kebab I've ever eaten. The chicken and lamb shish were both fine, as was everything else in the order. Just the donor that was basically unpalatable.

Sadly everything was cold, chicken very very salty. Probably nicer if less time in delivery. Nice presentation and wrapped but sadly not for me.

Cut back on portion size for family special. Salad portion was smaller(usually superb from here), & no grilled tomato, green pepper & onion with the family special meat box which was disappointing. Still fresh & nice though

Previously ok, however this time after an hour and a half wait delivered the order that was missing the meat!! Unhelpful when called, clearly not bothered about repeat custom. So very poor will definitely go elsewhere next time....

Food is always good, highest level of hygiene for a kebab place.

Basically, I just watched the guy behind the counter make my food with a large open wound down the whole length of his thumb, which he continuously touched and prodded at whilst making my food with his bare hands. Absolutely gross, literally had loose skin hanging off it. I threw the bag of food in the bin on the way back to the car and felt like throwing up. I've been coming here for a number of years, never ever again.

The only issue was we ordered 3 kebabs which should of had garlic sauce but the all had mayonnaise which is horrible 😩

We called restaurant as forgot to specify what salad we wanted as didn’t want specific items and i’d forgotten to leave a note like i usually do. The guy repeated it back to my partner correctly but they still managed to totally mess up the order and wasn’t even the right way round from the just eat order . they put the wrong sauce and wrong salad on both kebabs .

Haven't ordered from here for ages and I have to say this is still the best place for a kebab and burgers. Food is always hot and fresh and always delicious
