Food excellent, adults burgers very juicy and tasty, kids meals were a good size. Staff very attentive with Refills on soft drinks. Only down side to using the app was we had to give a tip every time we ordered something (even just a fruit shoot). We don’t mind tipping but every time was a pain as no option not to tip.

Had possibly the worst burger I’ve ever had here and the Mac and cheese tasted like tinned. Massively overpriced and I won’t be returning. The peanut butter shake was ok.

Happened to pass Eds Easy Diner, en route to another location, and as it was lunch time, thought we'd give it a try for a quick bite to eat. First time visiting Eds Easy Diner, Definitely wasn't disappointed! Great Atmosphere,Convenient location. Despite being busy, the staff were welcoming and accommodating from the outset. The food came out swiftly. Really enjoyed the Buffalo Wings and Waffle Fries. Good choice of menu for the kids too. Thank you Eds Easy Diner for a good first experience dining with you!

I have an intolerance to garlic and onion and so eating out is difficult, however, this place never disappoints. They went out of their way to accommodate my intolerances and I had the best burger I have ever had in my life! The staff are amazing - so friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend

First visit to Ed's Easy Diner and will probably be my last. The first thing to mention is that the only clue to a pandemic was a one way system for entry and exit, otherwise it was a free for all! We were sat right next to another couple, just inches away with no shielding. It all felt very uncomfortable!Turning to the food, it is a fairly typical selection of American diner burgers, hotdogs, fries etc. I had a hotdog with fries, which had a nice tasty sausage, but was totally smothered in sauces (particularly mustard) which completely overpowered and spoilt it. The milkshake was a complete contrast and was really nice!Overall a poor experience and wished we had gone elsewhere, but good milkshakes.

Don’t do it! I’ve been to several of Ed’s Easy Diners but this particular branch in Birmingham is certainly one to avoid! I visited here with my wife and young family after going to the Sea Life Centre and it’s the worst I have ever been to. I’ll start with where we were seated …. Do the staff know there is a pandemic?! I know lock down is lifted but everywhere I have been are still practicing social distancing if they can, the diner was half empty and the staff thought it best to sit EVERYONE in booths next to each other rather than spacing them out, not even leaving a table between us just cramming us in 1 space. We were put right in front of the entrance to the kitchen so all the food was carried past us and we got the joys of listening to the staff clash around. The manager just sat at the bar barking out her orders and shouting at potential customers as they came through the door ‘just wait there please’ - why aren’t you getting up to greet your customers instead? The cook (AKA qualified microwave operator) literally slapped our burgers together with her bare hands! There was no actual cooking involved even the chips were put in a microwave! Our order of 3 different burgers was taken and out in 5 mins ….. I’m not after gourmet food going into a diner but I would like at least a freshly cooked burger?! She then proceeded to take the green wheelie bin of rubbish right through the middle of the restaurant and out the front ….. huh?! That doesn’t seem very hygienic to me. The toilets were so disgusting and dirty I would rather use a portaloo after a summer weekend festival! The nappy bin lid was just on the floor with all the dirty nappies showing, the toilet seats were covered in dried on urine and the staff didn’t think they were dirty! All in all the place was dirty, the food is pinged in a microwave and the staff don’t care for their customers in fact the just smelt like stale cigarettes. There are far nicer places to eat less than a 2 min walk over the bridge - I suggest you take it rather than eat here.

Visited in August 21, as i had been previously and enjoyed the wings. this visit could not have been more different. It was probably 40% capacity, took a seat outside where dirty dishes were still waiting to be collected. after waiting for service i went inside and was just completely ignored by one guy, who did everything he could not to deal with me, even down to clearing and straighten the sugar containers. he completely ignored me for over ten minuets i was standing there, he was beyond rude. then another lady gave me a menu, and we waited a further ten minutes for our order to be taken, the drinks then took approx 15 mins to come, food followed a further 15 mins, so i ordered some more drinks for with the food. Onto the food, it was cold the minute we received it. Not sure how long this had sat around waiting to be served to us. It wasn't luke warm it was cold. Fed most of it to the Canadian ducks. Our second round of drinks never turned up so we asked for the bill. When the bill came it had the second round of drinks on it, we explained to the same waitress who took the second drink order that she had not brought our drinks and how poor the food and service had been. She could not be more apologetic and took the drinks of the bill. Felt really bad not tipping, but this was a really disappointing visit.

Booked a table in advance which is recommended. Ordered the full English , two burgers and the hot dog. Hotdog was massive and meaty. Burgers were on the small side but the meat and fillings were good and well thought out. The milkshakes were superb. Waffle fries made a nice change. Will go again :)

Meant to open at 10am and we got there and the person said not open until 11am though doors were clearly open and on the website it stated 10am. Poor!

We had an amazing day out in Birmingham and decided to eat at Ed’s diner. Service was great and I can honestly say, it was one of the best burgers I have ever had… Kids were happy and it completed our family day out.

Popped in for food after work. Great service, and enjoyed the food. The staff working hard to clean after everyone, which must be tedious. Hope to come again soon :)

Was kept waiting at the door to be seated for far to long, was made to feel uncomfortable and wasn't welcome was said sorry we are busy. Didn't look busy to us. After explaining we only had cash, was asked have we got change as they had not got a lot. We hadn't even ordered. Ask to speak the manger, I explained how we was feeling about the services we had received. The result was she said bye and walked away. We after being there for 20mins upped and left. They did not want our custom.Very disappointed with the staff. Didn't get to try the food.

awful service. nobody was wearing masks. the place was almost empty and didn't receive any new customers 10 o'clock in the morning

We made an impromptu visit here following a trip to the sea life centre and had a wonderful time. Our server, Claudia, couldn't do enough for us. All the staff we encountered were polite and friendly. They were busy cleaning tables down meticulously and all wore face masks. The food was good value for money and the milkshakes fantastic. We would absolutely visit again!

me and my friend went for first time i was very disappointed because we had order are food but did not receive our food until two hours later. And not one staff member asked us if we were OK so we will not be returning there again.

It was clean and a staff was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately our food was cold. They took it back and quite loudly pointed out table out where the food came from which was embarrassing. However the food was nice and good value for money. There was also a female kitchen staff who was banging the bell continuously until someone came in the kitchen... This must have been rang about 20 times in under a minute...i understand d they need to ring so food can be served but I'm surprised the bell didn't fall apart. We couldn't stand much more so we left.

Walked into without a booking and was quickly seen to a table and checked in. Was immediately told us how long the wait was for food when the menus were given which was great to know. Amy quickly came over to get a drink order and then food. Was both polite, friendly and patient. Food arrived quicker than the 40 minutes originally mentioned (had starters and mains along with milkshakes). I couldn’t eat my burger and my other half had a large amount of milkshake left so we were happily provided with takeaway box for my burger and cup for his drink. Everything was clean including the toilets. Very happy with the visit and would go again!

came out for my friends birthday and absolutely loved it! Waitress miya was amazing, very helpful and bubbly! Food, decor and overall experience was 10/10 would definitely come again!

our first time visiting ed’s and was amazing! came out for a family fun day after visiting the sea life centre. food and service was 10/10. we were served by the beautiful Miya and she was really nice and kept making sure we were okay and our refills were topped up. definitely coming back again!

So first time at Ed’s . We had a very amazing experience, lovely food and very good customer service. Especially the server Sabina and there manager jo. Defo we will be back and we highly recommend it . Thank you again. We love you .

We had two cheese burgers not much meat at all mostly all bread, the frise was really salty. Onion rings were really nice but that's about it to be honest. We got a hotdog to share just to give it a try not the best. I'd of rather spent £30 on mc Donald's knowing what you get id what you pay for.

Amazing experience at Ed's diner. Staff were friendly and front of house team (Sabina and Claudia) are an asset to the company ; both professional and quick whilst being super fun and friendly. Love this place, would recommend. (But take a coat for the evenings can get cold.)

Took a trip to Ed’s Diner near the Arena due to lockdown lifting and had a great dining experience! Sabina and Claudia are amazing staff - they’re super friendly and made us feel very welcome.

The staff is very nice and the food is great. I would recommend. We ate sandwiches and ice creams/ smoothie and they were delicious.

I visited Ed's diner for lunch with my son, after a busy morning shopping. We was greeted quickly and shown to a table. I was really reassured to see staff was masked and cleaning tables between customers. We were served by Jo, who was really polite and helpful. I think she could tell I was a bit nervous  it was our first time out since lockdown!  I had a burger and my son who is vegetarian had the nachos. The food came out quickly and was nice and hot. Good portion size, not too much for a child to manage, or would have made a good starter I reckon. Good value for money . Will definitely come back again, maybe for dinner next time.

Tuvimos una comida encantadora con nuestra familia. Fue un domingo después de Legoland. Era el lugar más cercano para comer que podía hacer sin gluten. A los 6 nos encantó la comida y el servicio fue estupendo. Incluso cuando el camarero nos trasladó a una cabina más espaciosa una vez que pedimos bebidas para estar más cómodos con los niños. Ella fue muy complaciente y muy servicial.Se tomaron muy en serio la comida sin gluten e incluso mis hijos, que tampoco podían tomar leche, tenían suficiente para elegir.La comida es deliciosa. Fui al centro de la ciudad de Birmingham y terminé cerca de la Arena a la hora del almuerzo. Tenía la intención de almorzar en un pub local pero estaban cerradosVi a Ed's Diner en la pasarela cubierta en la parte trasera de la Arena, y después de "iniciar sesión" como lo requiere Track and Trace, y pasar por los procesos de saneamiento minuciosos, me llevaron a una mesa limpia y socialmente distanciada. Tuve un delicioso batido de fresa (servido en una taza de metal reutilizable), una gran hamburguesa, tan sabrosa y a un precio razonable, súper ambiente, un verdadero descubrimiento, personal educado y servicialSin duda volveré a visitar este lugar

Visitamos como una familia de 4 el domingo por la tarde. Se implementaron todas las medidas de seguridad de Covid, incluido el rastreo obligatorio y las máscaras faciales (incluido todo el personal). Todo el personal fue amable y servicial. Las mesas se limpiaban a fondo a nuestro alrededor después de cada uso. La comida era de gran calidad y me sentí a un precio razonable. Found this place by accident as homemade burger co had closed down, but what a great find! Fiancée and I had tea here while waiting for our show to start at arena. Lovely setting by the canal even at dusk. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and polite. It was really clean and well lit and had a nice retro feel about it. The burgers were delicious, I had Ed’s double stacker burger and partner had a blue cheese one. It was all table service and didn’t take long to arrive. We both had the upgrade that come with fries and also had a mozzarella sticks appitizer and 2 Budweiser and unlimited Pepsi which come to just over £30. Although more than say mcd’s it is well worth the extra cost as the burgers are amazing. I would definitely recommend to any burger lovers. The only downside I’ve found is there’s no Ed’s in Worcester by where I live!

Visited on a Saturday just before the lunch time rush (11.45) and not many tables were occupied so you’d have thought the service would have been good but it was dire. We ordered drinks after a wait of about half an hour and then 15 minutes later were told that they had no milk so did we want to reorder. For goodness sake – no milk when your located in the centre of town surrounded by shops and it’s only Saturday morning! Having re ordered and being given these drinks a waitress turned up with the milkshakes from our original order, a passing cow had obviously dropped in and supplied more milk. We were asked if we still wanted the milkshakes and when I pointed out we now had drinks and asked if the milkshakes would now be complimentary they were taken away – not very complimentary then.The food was OK but to be honest a burger at McDonalds would have been as good. The manager advised us he had taken the drink off our bill but actually ironically we’d not been charged for the drinks we had but 2 of the more expensive milkshakes that we didn’t have were on the bill. We couldn’t be bothered to try and sort this out as we have lives to lead and had wasted enough time here so left. What a shambles.

Excellent service & food. Lovely & clean. Stopped here for food with my husband & 9month old son. The staff were so helpful & friendly. They immediately brought me a high chair, warmed up the baby milk bottle & ensured we had everything we needed. As a first time Mum these types of visits can make me a little anxious, but it was brilliant, thank you for making it a positive experience!

Good meal, fast service, nice ambient and beautifully views!!! We will be back in the next trip in B’gham!!

What can I say ... music inside was to loud. The staff were ok. The food was medioca ... the menu was ripped. Tbh I wouldn't return. Suited for children or families looking for a burger better than McDonalds.

Popped in this afternoon after a trip to Legoland discovery. Wasn’t very busy, but wasn’t happy with the service. The lady who took us to our table threw the menus on the table and walked off. The table wasn’t very clean and needed cutlery and napkins...... we had to ask. Waited 10 mins for someone to come and take our drinks order. Food was nothing special, if we didn’t have 50% off with gourmet society it would have grieved me to pay full price. No one checked if we were happy with our food or needed anything else, when we ordered more drinks we had to chase them up and when they came the empties weren’t cleared. We ordered Oreo milkshakes for the kids and wasn’t told until they brought them over that they had no straws. They had to have their thick milkshakes with a spoon. Our plates were still left on the table 15 mins after we’d finished, even though we had stacked them up. We asked for the bill and then left. They wasn’t short of staff or rushed off their feet, so no excuse from r the poor service. Won’t return.

Found this place after visiting SeaLife and it was the best meal out we’ve had in ages. We were quickly sat down by a very friendly waitress, and served quickly as well. The food was fantastic, we ate every last bit, and shared a pud too. Would definitely return if we were in Birmingham again.

Popped in with children after visiting Lego Discovery. It was busy but we got a table for 5 very quickly. Our waiter was exceptionally friendly and efficient. Food took a bit of time but came eventually and was hot and tasty. We wanted to leave a tip for our waiter and asked him if the tip on the credit card went to him. He said it didn’t and the company kept it. This is unacceptable to me and should,not be allowed to happen. We left the tip in cash ...

Called here before a concert - service was excellent, and food was very good and delivered quickly and piping hot. Not a bad price either.

Have been to ed's many times but we don't like the changes to the menu. Gone is the baileys milkshake and we used to love the ed's plate which has now been removed also. Poor decisions in our opinion.

Esta es nuestra segunda visita a Ed's para comer algo antes de ir al espectáculo en el Arena. Nos atendió Charlie encantadora señorita que fue muy amable y servicial. Tuve el Big Ed's Breakfast, mi otra mitad tenía el Full Ed's Breakfast, que es un poco más pequeño, ambos eran muy sabrosos y abundantes. Le recomiendo que visite a este restaurante estadounidense, definitivamente volveremos.

Visitamos hoy después de un gran día en Legoland Discovery. Ed’s ha sido uno de nuestros lugares favoritos para comer siempre, así que fue un placer ver uno al otro lado del camino. Yo, mi pareja y mis dos hijos nos saludaron de inmediato y nos sentamos. Nuestra camarera Charlie fue fabulosa! Ella atendió todas nuestras necesidades y no nos dejó esperando en ningún momento. ¡Estaba muy feliz, sonriente, servicial y encantadora! Incluso era encantadora cuando mencioné que el hot dog estaba demasiado frío y conseguí uno nuevo y caliente de inmediato. Ojalá todos los camareros fueran como ella, las obras serían un lugar mucho más feliz. El gran desayuno fue el mejor desayuno que he probado en mucho tiempo y los niños disfrutaron muchísimo allí también. Muchas gracias, fue un gran almuerzo en un gran día!

La familia de mi pareja y yo recientemente vinimos aquí para comer algo después de haber estado en el Sea Life Center. No habíamos planeado venir aquí, pero estaba cerca, así que pensé en probarlo.

We needed somewhere to eat before a show at the Arena, we walked round a bit and saw that places were filling up so we decided on the diner as it still had seats. We were attended too quickly but the food did take a while to come, by the time we were eating there was a queue out the door. On the plus side we were not rushed to finish and the food was good and filling but had we needed a quick bite this would have been an issue. Would we eat there again? Yeah, sure but we would make sure we had plenty of time.

Took my grandson to the arena and wanted something which would appeal to him and Ed's hit the spot.

Really impressed with my veggie burger. The loos weren't in great shape though. Quite an informal dining experience.

Just been to eds diner in selfridges and it was amazing. The service and food was exceptional and flillip was the best server ever. Would definitely visit again

Well placed next to Legoland and Sea Life Centre and very child friendly. Our food arrived in literally five minutes and was very tasty. Kids meals did arrive in a basket which was a little problematic to cut the food up but this is a minor quibble.

Our family were visiting Legoland Discovery Centre and SEA Life and this was a convenient and natural choice for lunch (located right in between the two attractions).

We visited Ed’s for lunch on 14th August with two toddlers following a trip to the sea life Centre. We went at peak lunch time (plus it’s school holidays!) but they found us a table straight away, with room for both pushchairs and two high chairs. My daughter has allergies (egg and dairy) and our server could not have been more amazing. He helped me check everything on the allergy menu and adapted a children’s meal for her so that it was suitable, also swapping the children’s milkshake for a vegan shake at no extra charge and double checking everything with the kitchen. My daughter was over the moon as she usually misses out on treats like this! I wish I could remember our waiters name but hopefully the staff will remember us and he will get the praise he deserves for being so friendly and accommodating. Would recommend Ed’s to anyone visiting the area with children - ideally placed for Lego and sea life.

Visited Ed’s Easy Dinner in Birmingham on Saturday 13.07.19 with my wife for a late lunch. This branch is situated by the Birmingham Arena with views of the Birmingham canal, Sea life centre, Legoland and so much more, there are a few seats outside which makes it a fabulous place to sit in the sun and watch the world go by whilst enjoying American style food and drink.

What a lovely place. Food was amazing and the service was good. If I ever ended up in the area again, I would go.

Our server was billy he was very polite, however there was another waitress there, small, dark hair. She was beyond rude. She practically threw our shakes at us, and when we wanted to just order some food my boyfriend repeatedly tried to get her attention and she noticed but turned the other way and continued to do this until he went directly to her and asked her, even then she did nothing and made the woman next to her do it. Being a waitress myself I can appreciate the job is hard but one thing you can never do is act that way towards customers

We were just underwhelmed here. American style diner - Yes for decor & music but the burgers were highly average. Burgers were bland, small side of fries in a small bucket/pail. Onion rings were good! Drink of pepsi only filled the huge glass to 2/3rds full - looked very odd. Waitress was good and efficient. The food coming out was a little slow. Relatively cheap for a sit down burger but kind of regretted not having a Burger King which would've had more flavour, more value and far cheaper.

My wife and I have been here maybe three times now as we've attended events at the Arena Birmingham / Barclaycard Arena / NIA / whatever it's called this week.

Visited Eds today and had a lovely meal. It was really busy and short staffed but I was very impressed with Jordan the manager. He was the only person sitting customers,taking orders, serving and clearing away. Didn't affect service at all I found him to be professional and I would recommend this place.

Fuimos a almorzar después de llevar a los niños al centro de vida marina. Comida recién cocinada y de buena calidad. Todos los niños disfrutaron de sus batidos de chocolate y la esposa recibió su batido de baile favorito. Disfruté mucho de toda la comida, pero ya era hora de que Ed reemplazara sus pajitas de plástico.

No suele ser mi tipo de restaurante, la comida rápida. Sin embargo, todos los otros restaurantes de la zona estaban llenos en el momento de la noche que estuvimos allí, así que no tenía otra opción. El ambiente estaba lleno, si no un poco caótico. Pero el servicio fue agradable y servicial. En realidad disfruté la comida al igual que mis compañeros.

Muy agradable restaurante de estilo americano situado en una parte encantadora del centro de la ciudad de Birmingham, junto a los canales. Esto está en el complejo de arena y se encuentra entre una gran variedad de restaurantes alrededor de la cuenca del canal.

Fue divertido llevar a los niños, nunca antes habían visto una máquina de discos:) La comida no tiene nada especial, pero está bien, ¡los niños pensaron que era genial! ¡Y es bueno que tengan un par de ensaladas en el menú para aquellos menos emocionados por los hotdogs y las papas fritas! El personal era muy amable.

¡Lo más destacado de nuestra visita es el increíble servicio que recibimos de Charlie! ¡No solo es increíblemente servicial y amable, también es muy atractiva, amigable y parece realmente feliz de poder servirte! La comida era buena, todos disfrutamos!

Went here for food following a trip to the sea life centre , arrived at the lunch time rush but managed to get a table after a 10min wait. Food was really nice here , your typical American diner burgers and hot dogs etc . We had 3 x courses plus drinks and price was reasonable, it did help that we had previously signed up to Ed’s diner loyalty club so had 40% off the bill . Decor and atmosphere is really good like a 50s diner seen in the movies. Service was excellent quick and attentive, particularly Charlie who was really nice and offered fantastic service. Enjoyed today and would return.

Had visit Ed’s Diner for Breakfast. I will recommend the Breakfast menu especially the pancakes. It’s so fluffy and the maple syrup and blueberries are great. Quick service Looking forward to visit the place again.

Visited with grand kids, food was good and staff excellent. We were able to eat uninterrupted and not rushed

Our waitress Charlie was so helpful and clearly is just a genuinely nice person. I really couldn’t fault her service in the slightest! Only reason this gets 4 stars is because the food wasn’t quite the best standard and the majority of the staff didn’t seem very attentive. Charlie was great and another waitress and manager seemed really nice but most of the staff seemed really uninterested. I would go again but it does seem very touch and go with the service you get there.

Visited on a Friday just after lunchtime, was extremely quiet.

We came here for dinner tonight and it’s hands down one of the worst places I have ever been. Service was atrocious. We sat there waiting for anyone to take our order whilst watching a male member of staff playing with his female colleagues hair! Even the man who looked to be the manager took ages to sort drinks out.

Popped in before the show at the arena - had about a 15/20 min wait for a table, and the queue kept growing - the decor is very diner - the old style table jukebox on our table had salt sprinkled inside it as an interesting addition. The servers were (in their defence), flat out and ours simply walked down the row of tables asking if anyone was ready to order - drinks and food ordered at the same time (most places take a drinks order when you sit down initially??) - so the guy serving the drinks was not a fast paced individual, so had a wait for these to come - we were sat opposite the kitchen so could see the flow of food coming out... it was quick to be fair! - ours came after a 'medium length' wait - My wife and I had the chilli hot dog and the children had the chicken burgers - the food was good to be fair - everyone had a clean plate.

Came here with my son this week .... we won’t be returning . We came for breakfast , my food that came out wasn’t what I ordered , they never gave my son the milk that was included with his breakfast , the coffee was dreadful , the sausage Pattie was more like a rubber , the staff did not at all seem interested. I expected a lot more . The price

Stopped in for a late lunch and were quite impressed. Service was excellent and food was great. we shared the chicken finger appy and it was very flavourful. We also shared the cheese burger and again, very tasty, and the rootbeer, awesome! Would defiantly go back, great atmosphere.

Visited today with my wife and our baby daughter. If this were purely a food review, I'd give it a 4/5. I'd fully recommend the onion rings, they're some of the nicest I've ever had.

Popped in for milk shakes, and ended up having an ice cream sundae too! Great service, not very busy, and really enjoyed the food and drinks. Looking forward to the next visit.

Having lost our local branches, finding an Ed's diner was a must do for lunch. Quiet place, good food choices, reasonable price huge portions.

Staff are disinterested and apparently not motivated at all. No else waiting - but waited in queue, waited to order, waited for food, waited for bill, waited to pay. We did did all the waiting not the staff.

Well, Ed's Diner has to be one of the most unpleasant "restaurants" I have had the misfortune to eat in.

Friendly service esp the Manager. However burgers were almost burnt one side tasted like they had been held in a griddle for too long. It was an ok burger but not as good as Eds in London where they are cooked to order fresh in front of you. Disappointed for the money.

Definitely do not visit when there is something on at the arena. We had arrived pretty early when going to to an event on at the BarclayCard Arena. Not knowing what was around we played it safe and had dinner at Ed’s Diner. Like I said we got there early and Ed’s was empty. When we left, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cue so big at a restaurant.

Came here after visiting the sea life centre. Had to wait half an hour for food but the burgers and milk shakes were worth the wait.

I went here with my husband and 6month old daughter after spending our morning in the sea life centre. It is located quite close by so handy for something easy to eat. The restaurant was very quiet so we were served very quickly. The staff were very friendly and the food was freshly made. My husband and I both had burgers and fries. Portions were fair and the food was fresh. It was a nice place to go if just fancy quick fast food.

Never been here before but popped in here for a quick eat, we really enjoyed our food so definitely would go back again.

If you are going to see a show at the Arena or just enjoying the area I recommend this place for a good burger etc. Fast service and good food at is a reasonable price. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The service is awful, food not much better and expensive for what you get. Food waiting for ages under hot lamps before being served. Tables were sticky and burgers bland. Convenient for Birmingham Arena, but that's all.

They seated us by the till which resulted in us having a line of people by us while we were eating. We started with the mozzarella sticks which were delicious also the milkshakes were really nice, had a good variety of flavours. The whole setting of the diner was lovely, playing 50s songs. We didn't enjoy our burger very much it was quite bland and boring.

Had the classic diner experience and lots of fun it was too!. The menu is essentially a mix of hot dogs, burgers, fried chicken and lots of combinations of all 3. The milkshake menu looked fabulous and the portions are big enough. Great atmosphere as well, suitable for families and the staff were friendly and professional.

1st time we had been in one of The places

Being a fan of Eddie Rockets in Ireland I was aware of a similar concept in the UK that copied the American Diner theme, but hadn't eaten in one as they seemed to be in gloomy "Food Court" settings. This one is different, with a nice view over the canal area, with an outside seating area. The meal was good too, but of particular note was the service, which for a Thursday lunchtime was exceptional. Whereever you eat in the world it's nice to be served by someone local, with a local accent and local customer care values.
