Eddy's Chicken and Pizza in Halton

Had my first and last meal from here today. Got a pepperoni pizza which was stone cold when it turned up, cheese was hard like it'd never even been melted, and the base was doughy and clearly hadn't been cooked long enough. Never been disappointed by a pizza until today honestly

fiod was yummy as always and driver was lovely and followed instructions to keep my dog safe.

Pizza was nice but yet again ruined the chips by adding too much salt all over them

My pizza came with the wrong toppings. Wouldn't normally be an issue but it was onion and I hate onion and I tried picking off but it was to much. Called the restaurant and was told to drive it back for a replacement. I have kids in the house

Ordered at 11:15pm. Order came around 12am, was given the wrong order. Contacted Eddys personally and informed them, they said the driver had came back taken the incorrect order and gave me what I ordered. Which did not happen, they made out like I was a liar. I ended up having to travel down to Eddys myself to sort it out. Finally got the food I ordered at 1am. No offer of refund or anything just a free bottle of tango. Absolutely disgraceful service considering the driver was lying and I got the blame. Paid delivery fee to have to go down there anyway.

ordered pizza deal. Was delivered 10 mins before time due, brilliant. the food was piping hot and the pizza was beautiful. full of topping, stringy cheese, just melted in your mouth.

It was cold and it was dry , the only moisture was the sauce inside the wrap otherwise it was rock solid and crunchy , and the chippy was cold and dry as well highly disappointed snd would like a refund!!!!!

I ordered food 2 burger meals they charged me £16 and got delivery after 1 hour and 10 minutes. The food was very cold and in vary bad condition and the chips were watery. When I called them, they replied very rudely, "What can I do just throw it away" and then disconnected the phone. I am vary disappointed with there service. Just i can say that

Ordered pizza from here again always hot an fresh and nice delivery drivers are usually great but last night he was outstanding, I came home from work late and went for my goto order seafood pizza , unfortunately I fell asleep 😔 but my delivery driver upon getting no answer must have rang the shop got my number and he left my order on doorstep and rang an txt me to make sure I got it, he eventually woke me up cannot thank the driver enough for going that extra mile, he could have just left it an gone but he didn't and my pizza was still hot when I picked it up, thanks very much this place deserves a better rating than it has I've never had any problems with the food always hot an fresh cooked

Usually when I order eddy’s everything is great, but today although it may seem petty, there was a gigantic hair, which entered my mouth and I couldn’t eat my food, please try your hardest to keep hair out of the food

I was feeling hungry, we ordered late last night. We ordered one of the chicken meals. The chicken pieces and wings tasted rubbery and all I got was a mouth full of oil, there was no crunch or taste.The chicken sandwich was not pleasant as that was also rubbery. The pizza was just greasy.The fries was rubbery and soggy. Everything looked undercooked and tasted gross. Left a really horrible after taste. We ended up just binning everything. What a waste of money. Just because you order late does not mean that food should be bad quality. We will not be going back!!

Order came and alls I got was 1 garlic bread and 1 chips rang the shop to see where the rest of my order was and they said theyve looked at their cctv and the order was given to the driver and had to wait for the driver to come back. Waited nearly an hour for the driver and he said he past me the order which he didn’t what a waste of nearly £25 for a garlic bread a 1 chips 🤬 won’t be ordering again

Ordered Fillet Burger meal at midnight 12:30 am from uber eats , Very polite staffs , Delivered by the restaruant timely manner , Food was Delicious and great , Chips are good , Value meal💯. This is the only shop in Widnes open late night untill 02:00AM👍

Horrendous. Got a ‘large’ kebab meat and chips and the kebab portion was tiny and had a load of stale and cold chips dumped on it. There were literally about 4 slithers of onion and chilli sauce dumped on just one side of the tray. The mrs got a pizza that was cold and the toppings were wrong. We also got a garlic bread that was cold and like cardboard. Hands down the worst takeaway I’ve ever had, and that’s saying something. Ill never order from here again. My advice would be to go elsewhere, literally anywhere.

Worst takeaway in runcorn, ordered many of times and it just gets worse and worse, half of the puma trackys push you to order more than you want and the food flows through you quicker than lactulose does

Questions: When you order on the eddys website it gives you a delivery time, why send your driver out 20 minutes after the delivery time? Furthermore, when you've had your customer waiting for over 45 minutes, why do you then pretend that you don't understand the English language when asked a simple question? You refused to offer a discount and also think that I can't write this review?! First and last time using these idiots.

Worst service ever .... never visiting again. Staff completely rude and trying to say I got my order wrong when they clearly did. Brush up on your customer service skills before you run out of customers to practice them on. Add to this when I got the food home it was overcooked and disgusting. AVOID like the plague.

This place is disgusting, they figured out how to burn parts of the food whilst leaving other parts uncooked, considering they are a chicken shop you would think that they would know how to cook chicken After having a mixed kebab from here I could tell something what off about it, the pieces of chicken were not fully cooked and the kebab was swimming in grease, add to that the rudeness of the staff after complaining about the uncooked chicken I was told “what do you expect” 😂 I expect the food to be cooked, that’s what I’m paying for

Staff rude as anything, several occasions tried to order a peace of chicken from burger Without bread barm due to health reasons guy refuses to sell me 1 bit of chicken yet its a chicken shop....go figure have to buy burger whole then give them back the bun 🤯🤯 guy on main desk really needs a rethink on life aguring about chicken in a shop that sells chicken 😅

Upgraded to a meal and payed extra, they forgot to send chips, contacted the shop the man was very rude and said I didn’t order chips (so why did I pay extra) his attitude was very rude and put the phone down on me as if he was angry with me. The food was cold, chips soggy, wrap had hardly any dinner meat on and was actually freezing. Missing chips eventually turned up 25 min later with the guy still saying that I did not order them ( don’t know what part of I ordered a wrap and payed to upgrade to a meal he did not get) Order was £35 for the family and he caused such an issue over some missing chips. Definitely will not be ordering from here again.

Red chicken kebab burnt. Chicken on spindle black still cooking I requested not to put burnt shawarma chicken in kebab to return home by taxi to discover it was and it definite wasn't chicken breast. Rang ti advise them they had done wat I requested not to do they weren't clear or offered my chicken fillet a meal. I rang them they said I had to return to the shop as that's how I nought it I said I'd just paid £6 taxi fare and wasn't in total paying £18 taxi because we reqested no burnt chicken if they said that's all there is and been honest maybe would have ordered differently but £21.and only decent thing was magheritta pizza. Knew should of gone Sirissos lesson learnt.

Terrible service, went in to order a 9"garlic, cheese & doner meat pizza & got I total different thing. Phone them up & explain, they have gave me the wrong thing, so they took my address & said they will send the right thing out. I was waiting about an hour, so phoned them back & said "where's my order"? After explaining again, they said, "you can't phone up, after over an hour, and say your order is wrong", absolute joke, I won't be going there again😡.

Staff are clueless, menu in-shop is lacking and only shows a few options. Was good 6 months ago but last 2 visits gave made me look elsewhere for my takeout.

I got a chicken wrap for 4.99 and my girlfriend got a doner wrap for the same price and the chicken wrap was a quarter of the size of the domer wrap. Total rip off. Also one one of the staff put a slice off cheese on my burger with bare hands, and when I told him off he pretended he didn't hear me

The staff in here are really friendly and lovely! Very generous portion sizes and reasonable on prices. The food was delicious. We got a folded Calzone and cheesy chips! Lovely

Waited two hours and ten minutes for the delivery of my order ! I rang the shop every twenty minutes after the first hour to be reassured that it would arrive in fifteen minutes. I won’t be ordering from them again

Terrible service. Order should have arrived 45 minutes after being placed. Waited 45 minutes then a further over two hours and several phone calls with assurances it would arrive in 15 minutes, it finally arrived. Whilst the food was delicious, properly cooked and hot, I was too tired to eat it all. Along with our order were two chocolate donuts which we hadn’t ordered so assumed they were complimentary or part of someone else’s order. Never had a problem with delivery in the past but, apparently there were only two delivery drivers. Won’t be ordering again.

If you like battered soggy pizza then this is the place to order! Vile and even worse customer service! Avoid!!

Food stone cold incorrect order will never order from here again

Order 2 or 3 times a month from eddys direct from the website as justeat is 5 pound more. All going well until the last 4 or 5 deliveries.... getting later and later up to an hour 15 minutes. The tonight 1st October..... almost 1hr 45m.... then the guy turns up with the wrong pizza.... the wrong size and box felt cold too. Turned him away with whole order. Phoned eddys and demanded a complete new correct order. Women said she would send new pizza.... i demanded a complete fresh order as what good is half my order if i end up waiting another hour for the pizza. Sort it out Eddys.... things where looking good for you.

Ordered a meal which arrived with no fries aswell as ordering two drinks and only one turned up, worst of all I ordered boneless chicken and this is what arrived, a chickens skeleton with the head still attached no edible chicken. The food was cold and left us all feeling very ill. The only positive was that it arrived within 40 minutes.

Going down hill this place, 2 hour wait for raw chicken, Pizza wasn’t even cheesy like it has been in the past, as if its been left under the lamp for 15minutes won’t be ordering again the place is a shambles now

Ordered food around 6pm and latest arrival time was 7.30. 7.40 came and still no food so I rang up to find out what's going on. Took me a while to get through and couple times I got cut off. Finally got through and asked them where the food was, all they said was it will be here soon. Gave it till 8pm an still no food. At this point we had to put something quick and simple on for the kids teas as they were hungry and would be off to bed soon. Tried phoning up again and took ages again me and my partner both tried. Finally got through and told them that it still hasn't arrived, the person on the phone said he would try to get in touch with the driver then hung up straight away without saying another word which again I thought was rude. 8.22pm came and it was getting more ridiculous now, got myself dressed ready to go down there and speak to them in person, just as I opened the front door the driver turned up. He was also slightly rude and didn't apologise for being late. The pizza's were cold and the chips were rubbery, the pizzas also were stuck to the top of the boxes. Never ordering from here again any time soon or in the future. Absolutely appalled by them and the service!
