Best pub in the golden triangle. Small and quiet but full of atmosphere. Friendly staff. Various screens for watching all the sports. Decent amount of ales on offer as well as decent lager. Dart board too! What more could you ask for. Great little pub.

Proper traditional multi-room pub with a huge TV screen cinema section, a normal lounge area plus a secluded comfy quiet room with no screens or bar. Something for everyone. If I lived 'round here, I'd be here every night!

Good pub. Looks like your nan living room but is a fun place to grab a pint or 6. Good for catching the game.

Expensive drinks, dull atmosphere and cold rooms. Not a good experience.

Nice place, shocking service, extremely rude, three people behind the bar, my husband the only one at the bar waiting to be served to be plain right ignored. When asked if anybody was serving was rudely answered, by a man with glasses and a beard, sorry did not know his name. Would avoid at all costs. New to the Cringleford area , will certainly not be returning, don’t recommend.

Called in twice recently for a drink on the way back from Unthank Road shops. Received a warm welcome from different bar tenders on the two ocasions who were very polite and friendly. Pub is atttractively decorated with plenty of greenery making you feel like you are in a cosy cottage. Quality carpeting in lounge with all surfaces spotlessly clean. TV screens are there for those who wish to view with sound muted. Tables with umbrellas outside plus a "lean to" for wet weather look very welcoming also. Couldn't fault a thing. Our pub of choice for a drink when in the area. Happy hours daily which makes the reasonable prices even cheaper!!

Me gusta el diseño interno de Eaton Cottage con dos barras separadas, cada una de las cuales tiene una mezcolanza de muebles y ornamentación, y con un ventilador de techo y trozos de vegetación en una habitación, el conjunto es algo parecido a algo entre la casa de un macetero y la de tu abuela. habitación del frente. Las mesas, etc. parecían limpias, pero algunas de las paredes se ven un poco sucias y, sin duda, necesitan una buena limpieza y una nueva capa de pintura. Tienen deportes en varias pantallas, pero como el volumen estaba silenciado mientras estábamos adentro, no fue en absoluto intrusivo. Aparte de mi problema con las paredes sucias, las medidas de coronavirus se aplican bien y el servicio fue bueno. Nuestra lager no estaba a la altura y parecía que esa marca en particular (Becks Vier) es quizás una de las que no venden mucho. Ciertamente no se veía ni sabía particularmente fresco. Como solo nos quedamos para uno, no fue un problema y, si estuviéramos en la zona nuevamente, sin duda probaríamos este pintoresco pub nuevamente.

El propietario es un hombre pomposo que está tratando de hacer cumplir las regulaciones de Covid, mientras está sentado en el bar bebiendo vino tinto. Best pub I've been to in Norwich to watch the rugby 6 nations. Sit in front of the big screen if you can, next best thing to being at Twickenham. Great beer too, as always.

De todos modos, estuvimos allí durante unas buenas 3 horas y fuimos testigos de las increíbles entradas de Ben Stokes frente a la extraña Inglaterra que salvó a The Ashes. I've been to this pub a few times recently and have been impressed by how the staff provide such a warm, friendly welcome to a new customer. They are happy to chat yo you over the bar. The lager is well kept too. I highly recommend this pub to residents of the Unthank Road/Mount Pleasant locality of Norwich Richard from up the road.

Hey google, i didnt go to eaton cottage and i dont want to rate my experience of everything i do like going to the shop or meeting a friend, so stop asking me all the time. Maybe sometimes people just need to figure stuff out by experiencing it themselves

Lovely place to watch the football. Doesn't mess around to much with food, just serves nice beer at reasonable prices. Limits children access after certain hours which is nice if that's what your after. Puts on interesting live music shows. Toilets are a bit shocking but in the grand scheme you can live with it.

The pub-iest pub. I love it. Picked eggs. Nuts. Beer. Live "music" on a Thursday. Wide range of people. Not even a sniff of pulled pork served on a wooden chopping board. Never change, Eaton Cottage.

This is a great pub and my local. Always a great range of real ales. 7 tv screens and 2 big screens so all the sport is shown. Basically it's a "village pub in the City"

They usually have major sports on Sky on a large screen with a good selection of real ales and lagers.
