Eaton Chinese Takeaway in Dumfries & Galloway

Came here as was stating someone local for the night. Was told it would be a 20 minute wait which turned into 1 hour. Food was shockingly unedible. Please avoid here 👌

Good food, portion size is bordering ok, the prices have gone up 50p per main meal which is acceptable. I only had 2 king prawns in my special fried rice and very little meat content. The food comes in a polystyrene box which popped open and leaked everywhere in the bag so half of the food went in the bin not happy, also hate the health implications of hot stir fry food melting the polystyrene box and you eating it, hence the reasons why polystyrene cups were stopped. Plus side they state they are open Monday & Tuesday when other Chineses are normally shut.

Just ok, basic Chinese. Bit pricey if I'm honest. Not very convenient as they only take cash, and I literally use my card for everything. I'd only use them again if nowhere else was open

Always consistently good. Could really, really do to drag themselves into the 21st century and start accepting card payments though.

This would have to be the best chinese in town,very friendly atmosphere from the minute you walk through the doors until you leave.Barbara and her staff are exceptional in there jobs very well presented from there uniforms to there manners.Great value for your money and portion size is adequate.Highly recommended.
