Brilliant cafe. Amazing good. Friendly service. Well worth a visit. Had the full English breakfast which was really good. Good quality ingredients and really reasonable. Great selection of cakes too.

We visited for breakfast on a Saturday morning and were lucky enough to get the last table. The menu had plenty of choices and the lady that served us was very knowledgeable of my gluten free requirements. Separate toast bags used for toaster to limit any cross contamination. Whilst they couldn’t 100% guarantee no cross contamination I had no side effects and believe me I am super sensitive. We look forward to visiting again.

We had a light lunch here. I had panini skin on fries with salad and vegan coleslaw as I'm dairy free, and my friend had pouched egg on toast. It was very well presented and was delicious. If you were looking for dessert, there was alot to choose from. I would recommend. We will be going back.

Popped in for some food just after noon whilst on a walk. We were lucky to get a table which had just been vacated and quickly cleaned. There was a good menu and the meals were wholesome, well cooked with good quality produce. English breakfast was spot on. Will definately be back and worth seeking out if in the area. Just one note of caution - book if you need a table / are a large party.

Only spotted this place when driving past to the Denby Pottery so decided to visit for breakfast. Limited off road parking available otherwise parking on the main road. Well decorated and well laid out, there is also an outside seating area and it soon fills up with customers either sitting in or ordering takeaway. Staff are very pleasant with service that is quick and efficient, menu is quite small with food that is well cooked, tasty and a decent price, what more do you want.

A real gem. Lovely, friendly service and the food is fabulous with some really unusual specials for a chip shop. Can highly recommend the salt and pepper squid.

After having several ‘tasting menu’ experiences at various local restaurants this was by far the worst! Bright lights, no atmosphere, filthy carpet, no table linen, paper napkins, chipped crockery, dirty glasses, bland food, no-one bothered to explain courses or ask if they were enjoyed, limited wine choice and, to top it all, we were charged for something we didn’t have! Would not recommend at all, try The lighthouse at Boylestone for a proper tasting menu experience!
