Food just tasted very artificial. Overpowering flavour of sweet sauces. Tried both Banh Mi, flavours very boring and overpowered by sugar. Nothing special about Chik’n Bao either. Unfortunate review. Really wished I liked it but when spending so much money, the food really should be up to standard. Would much prefer a take with just vegetables, than fake meat and bad sauce.

Un excelente lugar vegano en Boxpark con un menú pequeño pero excelente que le permite probar la cocina vietnamita. Probé tofu de estilo coreano y bollos Bao. El tofu era suave y delicado y cubierto con mayonesa de sriracha. Los bollos Bao eran esponjosos y rellenos con una selección de kimchee o seitán y luego se adornaban con salsas y cebolla tierna. Ultimate Bento fue absolutamente perfecto. ¡El kimchi aquí es increíble, y puedes tomar aperol spritz en el bar de enfrente para una comida perfectamente complementada!

I had the Bibimbap at Eat Chay in the Borough Market. It was enjoyable but not memorable. Everything served by Eat Chay is vegan.

My boyfriend and I came to Eat Chay for dinner on a summer evening and really enjoyed the food. I had the bento box for £9 which consisted of 2 bao buns of my choice and a side of noodle salad, which we felt was good value for money. My boyfriend got the ultimate bento for £12, which was the same plus fried tofu and this was a generous portion of tofu. We both opted for the Korean bbq seitan bun, with kimchi and sriracha mayo, and the Korean fried tofu bun, with gechuang sauce and cucumber. The buns were lovely and soft and generously filled with these flavourful combinations (this does make them rather messy to eat though!!!). The noodle salad was light and fresh, with rice noodles, cucumber, grated carrot and peanuts for crunch - a nice accompaniment to the rich flavours in the buns. I was a tad disappointed when we were told that they no longer offer chips as a side, as they are on the menu on their website, but this was only a very minor issue! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for tasty vegan food in shoreditch :)

A gem amongst shoreditch within the box park! We were out with a group of friends all requiring different dietary needs so boxpark was a great venue for everyone’s taste as we could all have something different and still eat together. I chose Eat Chay as it was vegan and it wasn’t a disappointment tasty food which isn’t a given with all vegan places! Will definitely be heading back and recommending to friends!

We eat Eat Chay frequently at the borough market. Their food is packed with flavour, my thumbs up for the kimchi bao.

Tried one afternoon while craving chips in Boxpark and founs the best chips ever ! Fast and smart order system !!

Really happy to eat something different to the usual vegan burger. This is really exciting vegan food, looks amazing and exceptional flavours. My boyfriend and I shared the vegan chicken bahn mi and one of each bao bun, all absolutely delicious. Did get very messy though!

Have been here 3 times and always delicious vegan goodness! Love their bibimbap and kimchi! Food comes out pretty fast too!

Vegan chicken lemon grass wrap - delicious!!! Reasonable(ish) prices, fast service, friendly.and knowledgeable staff. Loved it!

I’m not sure what is the meat in the bun because is Burnt like a charcoal Dark and crunchy they sale Not Eatable Food somebody need to stop this Avoid
