Started using this place recently as my very fussy Dad goes here....fish and chips are lovely so tried Chinese last night. Huge portions and really good service.

Came here on a Tuesday evening, not busy - they are open most days apart from sundays up to 22:00. Inside looked clean, there is a fish and chip side and a chinese food side which might not have been immediately apparent. Once inside I ordered a hong kong style sweet and sour chicken and pork dish. It was made pretty quickly. While I was in there I struck up a conversation with a person that drove from Kingsley Northampton to this particular chip shop, which they claim is one of the best in the town, and have been frequenting it for over 33 years and when the shop changed hands the quality didn't really stop. Getting home I was happy with the sweet and sour and would go back. So as fish and chips shops go it wasn't bad at all.

First time I try there fish and chip the fish was so crispy and the chips was fry perfectly good portion the service was excellent best value in town.

I am gutted ! I would never use another chip shop but recently the food is horrid ! The Chinese also has been really disappointing! Large wasn’t large at all ! Chips were horrendous!

This Chinese was absolutely terrible when we arrived home ( round the corner ) the food was very cold and the food tasted horrible and had no flavour also the chicken wings and omelette was burnt and the peas in the omelette was hard as rock and tasted as if they just came out the freezer. I am very disappointed with my order and will not be coming back to this takeaway place. The bbq sauce was jelly fried and the meat in the chowmein tasted like rubber

The barbecue spareribs with sauce are the best I have ever had in my life from anywhere. Also the beef curry is excellent. Very nice people.

We read a review about this place saying how good it was. Well the fish and chips were unbelievable along with the handmade pancake roll . Very polite staff it's takes me back to how a chip shop used to be , no frills and flashing lights just good old fish and chips, can't wait to try the Chinese menu.

Customer Service was bland. Portion sizes were ok and prices were alright. CASH ONLY so not very convenient. Food was average. Selection was Minimal. Too much Packaging. Overall a boring experience.

I tried this chippy based on the good reviews but was rather disappointed. The portions are generous but both the fish and chips were soggy and oily. There are better places nearby and I won't be coming here again soon.

Too oily fish was sticky inside, chips were soggy and no mash peas served. Disgrace to the classic fish n chips.

The cod and chips were really good. I didn't think I could eat so much food but it was so tasty I had to eat it all. Keep up the good work, as this was my first time there I will certainly be back.

The two times I've eaten from there I've been sick. Cleanliness doesn't seem to be their priority either. I live very close to it but I'm more than happy to travel further for better food.
