Curry cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly and courteous, we were served immediately with drinks and poppadoms. Will go back again.

Probably the worst Indian/Bangladeshi food I've had. Initial taste revealed there was almost no salt or flavour to the food. Then came the chicken bombshell, chewy, stinky, and inedible. Threw out the food in the trash. The fried rice was lacking salt but atleast edible. Items ordered on Uber Eats: Chicken Tikka Biriyani, Chicken 65 (looks nothing like the image on the app/website and tastes even worse), Chicken Phall, Egg Fried Rice.

Delightful restaurant. A gem in Kingswood. I've ordered simple and popular dishes and just plain naam. Extremely attentive personnel, rapid execution. Outstanding, that is the only needed word to describe their dishes. If regular curries taste like that, I cannot imagine the specialities...I'm looking forward to trying them. Highly recommended Indian restaurant.

Decent food but a little pricey nowadays

Just had delivery through deliveroo. Just over £50 spent on a range of starters, sides and a main. Very quick delivery …. That’s about the only good thing to mention. Chicken Tikka main stuffed into the bag on its side resulting in half of the main being spilt over everything, this meant our vegetarian options being contaminated in the Tikka sauce. Poppadoms soggy and broken, again squashed into the bag. Mango chutney nice. Garlic mushrooms were still hot however everything else luke warm to say the least. Incredibly disappointing. Will not be using again.

We ate in the restaurant and had friendly service. The food did not disappoint, it was great quality and tasted delicious. Highly recommend eating in this local gem.

Just had a delivery for the first time from Eastern Spice. Not good at all, onion bhaji were missing and king prawn butterfly was absolutely disgraceful. We called the restaurant and we were informed, if we still wanted the bhaji, we had to come and collect. First and last time for us, if you have any sense use one of the many indians in the Kingswood area. My recommendation avoid, avoid avoid, terrible customer appreciation.

The lamb chilli garlic masala and keema rice were amazing. The chicken tikka was spiced and cooked perfectly. It just lacked the smoky charcoal kick. Maybe the owners can use dhungar method to get that flavour.

We tried Eastern Spice for the first time and had them deliver to us. The price was very reasonable, the delivery was much quicker than expected and the food was delicious!! We’ll definitely be having it again! 👌🏼

We were recommended by friends to come here and what a fantastic meal we had. The food was cooked fresh, you could taste the individual flavours used, everything looked smelled and tasted delicious. The service was fantastic. What a local find that we will most definitely be returning to. Fairly priced food considering the outstanding quality. We're a chatty family and were silent for most of the meal simply because we were enjoying the food so much!

Had a takeaway and took an hour and a half to get to us after being told multiple times it’s only 5 minutes away. They offered us a 10% on our next order but you get 10% when you pick it up anyway, not good customer service. The chicken tikka massala was more or a corma with the amount of sugar in it. Chicken was quite dry as well. Wouldn’t recommend

First and formal I would to start by saying what a terrible service! I place phone order for delivery which took over and hour and half, the delivery driver was rude on the phone while I was being patient trying to direct him to my address which he replied by saying it doesn’t seem to appear on on the map, that’s funny when I leave 7 mins from the restaurant! I still haven’t received my order! Poor service! Poor customer service!

I came in on a Tuesday night and the deal was amazing. I couldn’t believe I could get a starter, main and a bread just for 10.99. Highly recommended ✅

No delivery available but still took money from my account for an unspecified amount time with no food. Leaving me unavailable to order from else where due to funds being removed. Totally unacceptable! Shocked and left hungry :(

The food was a disappointment, not as good as in the past . But more unprofessional was being asked to vacate the table ( even though we still had drinks to finish) because they had a booking waiting- if that’s the case why did they not give enough time for each sitting to finish . Will not be going back there again .

Very disappointed. Chicken bones in one of the main meals, also one of the nanns was completely wrong. The worst thing was after we had just finished the food, and still having drinks on the table, we were asked to make room for the next party. Placed order for £62, plus delivery charge on top for delivery by Uber eats. When food arrived all the food containers were burst and food was all slopping around in the bottom of the bag. All mixed up together. Phoned restaurant immediately and left answer phone message as no one answered. No one called back. Phoned again and restaurant not interested. I was told it’s my problem not theirs. Complained to Uber eats and got no response from them. Absolutely appalling all the food had to be put in the bin. They don’t care about their customers.

Horrible! A few items missing, called to discuss and tried to be nice and ask for the items to be delivered. Was called an idiot and stupid. Such a horrible experience and totally unnecessary! Only wanted the food I had paid for. The guy was horrible and the food we did get was average. Only a few pieces of chicken in a chicken dish! Really sad and never again!!

Love me a bit of Eastern Spice. Curry n pint after work with my muckers. Love the chicken chat and garlic tikka masala. Ofcourse, got to smash through some Poppadoms first. Gents always pleasant, things have changed over the years and mostly all good stuff. Prices are more steep now but it's with everything these days. See you soon lads!

Always order takeaways/deliveries from Eastern Spice which have always been exceptional! The dining in experience was great as we were able to enjoy the curries fresh from the kitchen whilst left to feel at home! Overall a fantastic evening with my friends and will return soon. 🙂

Ordered a takeaway from this restaurant, it was 20 mins late arriving. Bearing in mind there was 1.5 hour wait which I agreed to. Nearly 2 hours now from order, when it all arrived it was cold. For £20 it was a disappointment, I wouldn’t order again from these guys. They don’t have the capacity. Food wasn’t great either heated up in microwave.

Without a doubt the worst curry experience I’ve ever had. Not sure I’ve ever met staff so rude Rushed everything Told us we had to leave quickly (place was totally empty, not one single other person) Wouldnt set foot in here again if the food was free

So for a long time I’ve been a great admirer of this restaurant. But slowly the value has started to disintegrate. Tonight unfortunately will be the final time I order from them. Don’t get me wrong, the meals are delicious. But over priced food lose there appeal. Tonight I order a chicken tikka masala ( £9) no rice included. Which in the past was. My korma consisted of 4 pieces of chicken. No different than the 4 pieces in the tikka starter. The nans appear to now be double in price, but smaller in appearance. Such a shame, as the food is delicious but no longer value for money. 😢

My Wife & I visited on Saturday 16th at 20:30 having booked on-line a week before. We were seated on arrival and our drinks order was taken. We had a glass of White Zinfandel rose and a glass of the house red. These were OK. The restaurant wast not too busy during our visit, so service was excellent throughout. We had four popadoms with a pickles tray to begin, for starters I had Onion Bhajis and my wife had Salmon Tikka, these were very good & were served promptly with a yoghurt dressing. For mains I had Lamb Curry, we shared a Pilau rice & a Garlic Naan. My wife had Tandoori King Prawn Masala - These were all very nice and well enjoyed. Anything you cannot finish they will box up for you to take home. Total cost was £52.20 for everything - we enjoyed our meal and would recommend you visit if you are considering Easter Spice. I hope you fond my review helpful!

Ordered a takeaway thro uber eats , the food was lovely although not very hot ...But very dissappointed with the chicken tikka massala , 5 pieces of small chicken this dish costs £9 near on and to recieve such a measly amount of chicken was really dissapointing , so probably wont order fromh here again ..

Terrible attitude over the phone. Havent even recieved the food yet but after that phone call reguarding adding a little bit of garlic to the rice - i wont be ordering from them again!. Thanks for your reply. I was not attemtping to get a "freebie" I simply asked for you to add a little garlic to the rice. I offered to pay any extra to which you then replied that your driver could not accept any payments. Had i asked for you to add 'meat' 'change the dish' or a larger request i would understand your desicion. But to not add a little garlic? Theres no wonder you struggle over larger resturants really - i have visited many and have never been refused a little garlic in the rice. Your attitude was terrible and after reading your reviews - it seems im not the only one who thinks so.

Popadoms and pickles: good that these were offered as a package for ease of ordering. They were just ok. I left one uneaten. Onion bhaji: not very good at all. Red coloured (why?). Not crispy enough. Too soft inside. Tasteless. No nigella seeds. Paneer tandoori/masala and vegetable curry: quite good! Planner nicely roasted, spice mix was good. The vegetable curry was lovely. Why can't they make the bhajis as good as this dish?! Overall - slightly below average.

Ordered 3 thalis for collection. Was told it was an hours wait. Returned after an hour and had to wait another half an hour (in a non-covid sage space) so an hour and a half wait in total. The food tasted nice but there was very little of it - lots of sauce, barely any meat or veg in each curry. Very disappointed

Since moving to Kingswood we tried out a few Indian Restaurants/Takeaway, we ordered a meal this weekend from this restaurant and must say we were every impressed with the food and service, very tasty curry and the delivery was on time. This will be our go to Indian from now.

Had a curry night treat and decided to give eastern spice a go as many years ago we went and had a curry sat in but this time around was very disappointed. My curry was tasteless, I asked for it hot and there wasn’t even a hint of hot about it. Very disappointed to say the least

Walked through the door to get a menu and ask if they could deliver to my work place late at night, met with a guy who was friendly and helpful.I phone ordered for Four and asked for a late delivery, which was on time.The food was excellent, really tasty, and very good value.Will certainly be using again.

Possibly the worst Indian takeaway we have ever had. Cold, tasteless and expensive for the half size portions you get....which was actually a blessing in this instance as it was inedible!

La primera vez que nos dijeron que la comida estaría lista en 40 minutos para la recogida, pero al llegar al restaurante dijeron que no estaba lista, nos sentamos allí durante una hora más esperando sin explicación ni disculpa.La segunda vez que teníamos una comida para llevar en familia para seis personas por el cumpleaños de nuestra hija, se perdieron una de las comidas fuera y cuando les llamamos para avisarles, dijeron que no había nada que pudieran hacer al respecto y que él se lo quitaría en la próxima. pedido, pero ya lo habíamos pagado, así que no quita nada. Cuando traté de explicarle esto, fue extremadamente grosero y me colgó el teléfono.¡HEMOS UTILIZADO ESTE RESTAURANTE POR MÁS DE 20 AÑOS, PERO NUNCA VOLVEREMOS! ! ! !

The food is pricey and to top it off the portions are half the size of the takeaway boxes. Not good especially when you over 11£ for king prawn and only received 4 prawns in a pot of sauce.

Very disappointing and very rude. Strongly advise you avoid. I ordered a takeaway the previous Saturday for 19:00, hoping to sample the restaurants food for the first time. I initially placed this order at 17:45. After 19:30 I decided to contact the restaurant in order to see where my order was. The staff member informed me it was out for delivery and would be with me in 5-10 minutes. They apologized for the delay - informing me that they were busy. After waiting an additional 30 minutes (20:00) I decided to contact the restaurant again to inquire where my order was. This time I was told they could not find my order and they would call me back in 5 minutes once they had located it. 10 minutes later (20:10), I still had not received a call. Annoyed by the situation I decided to ring the restaurant and request a refund - not caring about receiving the order anymore. Once the restaurant received my call, they did not apologize, but instead constantly tried to interrupt me. I managed to ask for a refund over the constant interrupting. And the staff member informed me he didn't have time to process the refund tonight but would do so Monday and would also attempt to get my order delivered in the next 10 minutes. I agreed to this, sensing that arguing was pointless and happy I would receive my money back. My order did arrive at 20:45, 1hr 45mins late from the expected delivery time. Especially considering the order was submitted an additional 1hr 15 mins before that. I have not yet received my refund nor had any contact from the restaurant regarding the situation. I have tried to email the restaurant, only to find the email address on their website isn't even valid! The contact method I have been able to submit (a small form on the bottom of their website) I have not received a response from. I aim to call them later and resolve the issue, but don't hold much hope considering the defensiveness and rudeness experienced last time I did. Lastly, the restaurant is closed on a Monday so the member of staff would have been unable to even process the refund as promised! I'd strongly advise anyone to avoid this restaurant in the future, so you won't have to experience the same.

Very disappointing have been a regular for 18months was good tasty Indian food before lockdown now every curry I have ordered has been poor !!

I ordered lamb Rogan Josh and two popidoms for takeaway. £7.30. The curry was warm and not hot. Nor hot in spicy hot either. When I opened the lid the content was half empty. Two whole tomatoes made up most of the dish. I feel like I have been conned. The popidoms were soft instead of crispy. I will not be returning.

Lovely place to order from and highly recommended! Had a lovely chicken tikka masala meal with coconut naan and poppadoms which ticked every box. Great service and food was ready for pick up promptly after placing an order.

I had the tandoori chicken biryani which was nice. Didn't really enjoy the chicken Tikka curry and naan that much. The service was ok. They give warm refresher towels after meals with chocolates.

Best Indian, this side of Gloucester road. Been struggling to find a decent Indian in east Bristol for many years but this place is very good, very reasonable with excellent service. Will definitely be visiting again.

We ordered some food a few week ago, when it arrive it was stone cold, I rang up to complain and they said next time we will give you 50% off your order. I said do I need to use a voucher code to claim this and the guy said no just say that Islan said. Tried this tonight and what a surprise they can’t remember saying that. Absolute joke! Food was vile and I had to microwave it to make it even to an edible temperature and service is terrible!

Visited last week and as it says there was a pubic hair In my balti. Not impressed at all. Ruined my night.

We visited to celebrate a birthday on a week day evening at 6.30. Staff were very attentive and helpful taking our order quickly and efficiently. Starters arrived very quickly and were very much enjoyed, mains arrived soon afterwards on the whole everyone enjoyed their meals although one or two of the curries weren’t quite to taste but that could be down to personal preference. On the whole we enjoyed the evening.

Dined here last night with a couple of mates and I must say i was hugely impressed. I ordered a chicken sag which is my favourite curry and it was beautiful. Minimul oil which i have seen other places pile up on. Very comfortable setting with great service. We will be back for sure.

Best Indian food we had in a while!

We usually order a delivery every other weekend if not more often. I saw a recent review that the delivery takes too long but personally we have never experienced this problem so its a shame a one off experience has left a negative taste. I'm quite fussy and know what I like and they always accommodate my needs. Last weekend we decided to dine in the restaurant for a change and it was just as fab if not better! The service was quick and the waiters were friendly and welcomed us as if we were family. The drink selection was good and for mains I had the chicken shashlik and my husband had the chicken tikka jalfrezi with added chillis both were delicious so much so were going to come and dine in again with our family when they visit in a few weeks. Thanks again for a lovely time I'm sure we'll be ordering again this weekend! :-)

Pedimos un curry a las 5. 45 y pidió un tiempo de entrega de 8. 30 como si vinieran amigos. El curry no apareció hasta las 9. 10 a pesar de que tenían casi 3 horas para prepararse para este pedido. El conductor de la entrega no pudo encontrar la casa, así que tuvo que salir bajo la lluvia y encontrarlo. Luego, para entrar y encontrar un curry, faltaba. Los contacté y me dijeron que no podían reembolsarnos y que se lo quitarían la próxima vez. Sin embargo, debido al mal servicio, no los volveremos a usar. Muy decepcionado

Always a great meal.. but went to Tuesdat banquet tonight and the food was outstanding.. great value and everything we has was fresh and faultless.. my favourite Indian in Bristol so far... Also the staff are friendly and courteous

Had the Tuesday Banquet. Good value for starter, main, rice/naan and half a veg. Prawn puri a little bland and Chicken Korai needs additional spices. Overall pleased we ate here.

Food was excellent. However were there for 2 hours and only had our starters. Was there a subtotal 3hours. Shame!

Four of us went for a curry here the weekend, didnt disappoint! Meal was tasty authentic and very good service, avoid the other curry takeaway/restaurants on kingswood high street and eat here as you wont be disappointed, will be coming back very soon!!!
