East Takeaway in Tameside

Had chicken tikka massala as usual from East and it was shocking!!! It usually tastes of coconut and is sweet, however today it had zero sweetness and zero coconut in the sauce. Feel like I've been ripped off and will never order from East again!!!

First time coming here and won’t be the last time here…. 10+ family member I arrived with all loved the food.. we ordered from a range off curries and and starters. Everything was cooked freshly right in-front off your eyes. Food was Fab!! enjoyed every bite!! A very clean and looked after place, staff very friendly and boss man is Top notchhh! Thank you too East!!

Ordered a curry with sides and plain naan and donner meat with a separate plain naan. Order took about an hour to arrive and they’d brought garlic naans which me and my husband can’t stand. Phoned them up just to let them know and they said they’d send out a couple more, told them not to bother as the food would be cold by the time they’d arrive. We’ve ordered from here a few times now and something is either wrong or missing. Probably won’t order from here again which is a shame because the food is nice.

Really lovely. We’ve had a couple of disappointments with other takeaways recently, so I’m glad we now have a new regular to order from. Really tasty saag aloo!

I’ve used East for many years but won’t be doing so again after tonight. Ordered a kebab with salad/sauce to instead have chicken tikka pieces arrive on a naan bread. Very dry and couldn’t eat it. This was the second time in a few weeks they have got the order wrong and given how expensive it now seems to be ordering food with them on Just Eat, I’m done.

Food is lovely as always but we ordered a keema naan and there wasn’t that much on it as there normally Is, that’s was my only question is why ?

One of the best currys I've ever had. There was a little mix up in the order but was resolved quickly and the staff are so pleasant and friendly. 10 out of 10 x

After 9 years of being away from the area we thought we would pay our old favourite a visit and wow we were not disappointed. The best kebab we have had in a long time. Loved every bite. Thank you so much, hopefully be back soon for more. Highly recommend this place. Great staff, clean and excellent food.

The food from East is always the same spot on and 100%. They deliver on time and the food is hot you get plenty of meat in your dishes which is always a good quality and fresh. I love to order from East. the East at home service is also good but I prefer to have it deliver hot that night. Thank you East.

Last order wasn't great to be honest. This order was ridiculously good!

Don’t know what’s happened to this place. Used to be amazing. Kebabs used to be huge. So we normally share one. Got a kebab to share this time and it was so small. Also the doner was really thick cut and very pale. Disgusting. We couldn’t eat it. My wife’s chips were just about cooked whereas mine looked like they had been recooked about 3 times, really really dark colour and very hard. We won’t be returning sadly, shame as we used to recommend this place to everyone.

Didn't deliver had to pick it up myself,was told driver had gone home,Said they had phoned me but it never rang here checked my call log nothing buzzer was broke but told them that on the note and there is a concierge button so no excuse really so payed for delivery that i had to go walk for

Chicken madras was more like korma & meat was really tough. Naan bread was tiny

I ordered no sauce and got hot sauce all over my kebab do couldn't eat any of it. I rang and rang but it was constantly engaged. Disappointed!

Chicken tikka kebab on naan. Very nice, fresh & naan bread was lovely. Only complaint is that you only get the option to buy small, & it was too small for my fella who could av eaten 2!

Can I just say we order from east every weekend and you never let us down . Food always piping hot and so tasty. Tonight was the first time we ordered for time . I ordered at 5pm for a 10pm drop and at 10:01 it arrived amazing service . So once again east amazing service 5* every time

Very bad. Poor late nite food would be ok But How Much for the Cheap bad frozen garlic mushrooms with a cheap garlic dip is not garlic mushrooms. £2.50 for chips, But the same cheap frozen chips everywhere else, Wrong curry, just frozen hard veg, some meat and sauce rushed together haha beyond a joke.

Delicious food and super fast delivery, but a can of coke is a bit of a weird substitute for a chutney tray. Would have swapped the poppadoms if anyone had got in touch.

Normally amazing food. But food was really shocking. Chips refried, burnt but soggy. Kebab, the Chicken i didnt even eat 1 piece as it was litrally inedible and smelt horrendous. Really disappointed. All was binned and money wasted.
