terrible food, thought I'd give it another go after a few bad meals, never again

This has to be THE worst Chinese takeaway ever...and I've had a lot of Chinese takeaway. Everything in the order was microwaved, so luke warm at best. soggy prawn crackers again microwaved to make it seem like they're fresh when they clearly werent. Cantonese sauce was lifting, salt and pepper chips were soggy and inedible, same with the salt and pepper chicken. spring rolls again clearly microwaved and somehow their fried rice was blander than steamed rice. Avoid like the plague. LIFTING

There is no one answering the phone and we haven’t got our sweet and sour sauce xxx

Everything was undercooked, underprepared, and nothing like it was advertised. BBQ spare rib bones drowned in a horrible, thick sauce with no meat on them whatsoever. Rice totally undercooked, still hard when it arrived, the whole meal seemed rushed. AVOID EATING HERE!

If i could give this a 0 stars i would!!!!! i had been at work all day and decided to order from this place never tried it before so i thought i would give it a go…. waited 2 and a half hours for COLD food!! chips are soggy and not even edible (felt like a child had it in its mouth for a good 20 minutes) and the chips aren’t even spicy? Rice was hard and lumpy.. Satay chicken was greasy and very watery , prawn crackers were stale like they had sat there for months on end!!! waste of £30 never ordering from this chinese again.

If you’re reading the reviews and think you’ll give it a go anyway…don’t. Prawn crackers were stale, fried rice was undercooked, chicken and sweetcorn soup was too thick. They forgot the chips and were SO rude on the phone when asked. 0/10.

Disgusting food and a rip off. The prawn crackers being stale it was like eating polystyrene and the bag that usually gets tied at the top was now half way down when tied. The veg spring rolls were rubbish. Quite simply the worst Chinese I've had.

Awful food, weird tasting curry, chicken in cubes, chips seemed like they had been refried and refried very dry and dark brown. We couldn’t eat it, waste of £25

Thought I’d give it another try despite last time being horrific. But after a long day on the road I wanted something quick and easy, rice and noodles were ok id be shocked if you couldn’t get that right. Chips however were barely cooked. Beef was fatty and chewy. What was once the best in the area is now the worst, by a mile.

Wish there was an option for no stars, not a Chinese person in sight, which wouldn't matter if the people there knew what Chinese food was, ordered chicken and sweetcorn soup, the chicken was small cubes which were hard with no flavour, hot and sour soup was disgusting and at one point had something really slimy, the prawn crackers which used to be amazing from here were in a tiny portion but more importantly the guy behind the counter (who was also the cook) searched for prawn crackers, eventually found a bag that must have been there for a week, in short I am pleased I didn't order a meal and will never, never order from here again.

Food never arrived but they still took my money then refused to answer the phone

Food was late but not too bothered about that, delivery driver was canny and apologetic. The Fu Young was good but the rice and prawn crackers were stale, inedible on there own :(

Food was rotten and tasted freezer burnt to shreds stay far away, will not be touching this place again even with a 70 ft pole.

Absolutely shocking customer service. I tried ordering using my stamp card and the discount that was automatically applied by just eat and the order was cancelled 4 times, was then told on the phone they didn’t have enough drivers so had to cancel the order,took my stamp card off and order was accepted. When it arrived everything was stone cold and the gravy that they charge nearly £3 for was in tiny dip pots. Son went to the shop and was told if he wasnt happy contact just eat

It was so bad that I ended up throwing it all in the bin.Everything was dry and overcooked all the chips were so greasy and smothered with seasoning that was way more hot than a regular salt and pepper.it was very disappointing 😤

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Says food delivered. Nothing was. Called shop, was told to get refund from just-eat. This was my first order with this shop. It will be my last. Why accept an order if you can’t full-fill it? It’s an hour late now. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Chicken and sweetcorn soup was like jelly and even with water added and warmed up, it was inedible. Main course was dreadfully salty. Worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had.

Never open closes when they want

Before you think of ordering here think again.Over priced for such poor quality food , had the food sitting in a bag near the front desk for who knows how long , food was stale and overcooked with a weird flavour . Wasn’t worth it such a waste of £7.50 .

food was below any standard that should be served. I work in food industry and everything was just over cooked or cooked with the wrong Ingredients. veg omelette states onion mushroom and tomato come with massive chunks of peppers and bean sprouts in chip in same containers were still hard. lemon chicken looked like a pineapple stick and was like leather. soft noodles came might aswell have been a crispy noodles. couldn't eat it was dripping with grease in the bottom of the containers.

Food was decent quality, a little pricey for what we ordered but otherwise satisfied

all containers were not closed so leaked all over the bag, containers were damaged. arrived late and cold and overall the food was poor

Worst Chinese take away I have ever had !!

Really poor food quality. We were staying in a holiday let in the area and arranged a take away delivery. The bbq spare ribs were horrible and after a little taste, we did not eat them and threw them out. The meat on the ribs was very dry and they were served in this mushy vile sauce. The sweet and sour chicken was unbelievably sour, no sugar in it at all, and the curry sauce was watered down. The rice was 100% old! It was chewy and had clumped together in places. Definitely had not been freshly made that night. The chips were oily and the potato itself tasted hard and raw. Complete waste of money. The only positives were the easy ordering and the polite delivery driver.

Was OK, wasn't hot though and only 3 prawns in my chicken and king prawn chow mein order

Food is put in the fridges/freezers cooked (if they’re turned on), the chips are left out semi cooked for a week and the chicken could kill someone would highly recommend against these people

Salt and chilli chicken so hard not even edible! Not even chewable! Curry lid not on so spilt all over. Noodles burnt and tasted of chemicals. The whole meal was absolutely shocking! Never again

Really good quality and speedy delivery

Ordered King prawn chow mein. Collected 10 mins after ordering. Massive chunks of raw onion. Noodles were dry and looked like they'd been warmed up. Prawns were few. I'll not order from here again.

Never again chowmein over cooked no flavour curry n rice not very nice either and it all arrived cold most of it went in the bin as no1 liked it.

I really did not like the food, I'm sorry to say. The hot and sour soup was not hot and sour soup? It was so weird and orange, the curry sauce tasted not like most Chinese curry sauces. It was just not nice. The rice was nice just a shame I had to throw it away. Totally unsatisfied

Do not under any circumstances order from this takeaway. I have never in all of my life ate food that is so stale, strange tasting and bland before. Everything and I mean absolutely everything is dripping in grease and the chips are not remotely the chips you get from any other Chinese. I cannot stress enough do not waste your money.

Absolutely disgusting. Gravy had a layer of grease on top and the bbq ribs were in some strange sauce that tasted nothing like bbq sauce. Prawn rice only had 3 prawns in it. Not sure if the regular chef was having a day off as this time the food was abysmal. Customer service non existent and we will not be using you again.

Ordered Hong Kong style sweet and sour chicken as I have done for many years from here. Keep getting chicken balls instead, and when I rang the restaurant to yell them, they didn't give a toss and blamed just eat. I know what I ordered, and if the menu is wrong, then someone needs to fix the issue and stop sending me the wrong item! And maybe act like you care about your customers! I've loved this place my whole life and have been ordering for 20+ years, but this has p*ssed me off!

Made a large order sat night, delivered to my address, food was delicious however the onions were raw , I certainly couldn't eat them and neither could my guest. Rang the takeaway only to be told that's how they cook the onions. I'm sorry but who wants to eat raw onions in a hot meal. Not me or my guest.

No meat in any of the meat dishes ordered. Food came within 10mins of ordering but was cold. Tasteless food and spare ribs were just bones no meat on. Garlic and chilli sauce tasted bland and sloppy. Never again!

Food is lovely, just a little bit late

We received our order quickly, way before the estimated delivery time however the food was awful. Microwaved rice, cold noodles, chicken cold, sweet and sour sauce had such a strange taste we decided not to eat it. We won’t be ordering again.

Preordered estimated delivery was for 4.55pm.Then had a message saying estimated delivery was for 5.15pm due to restaurant running behind.Rang restaurant at 5.30pm as still hadn’t received delivery.They said it was out for delivery and got my delivery at 5.40pm.

I ordered my food for 6.30pm and didn't receive it until 8pm. I was informed of a slight delay and was told my order would be with me at 6.50pm. I rang the restaurant 4 times and the girl on the end of the phone was very abrupt . I will never order from this takeaway again

Quite possibly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had.. watery curry , raw onions ..greasy chips, dry chow mein.. avoid at all costs.. if I could give zero..shocking..

The spring roll was inedible it was not cooked properly and had an awful smell, the rest of the meal was spot on however most of it went in the bin as the spring roll took the shine off it.

Good delivery. Could not eat the sweet and sour balls as they were soaked in oil, chips were overcooked and cold and I’ve never tasted anything as vile as the sweet and sour sauce

Well over the allocated time on the app by over an hour and half, Poor quality selection of food and average taste. When called to chase up was shouted at to say is on the way. Still was 30/40 mins until turned up

Food wasn’t the order we requested and slightly cold

Sauce (and a small portion at that) was not sealed properly and spilt all over delivery.

I normally have no problems with food from here but the chow mein was salty as was the duck sauce which was inedible and was binned along with the duck which wasn’t shredded but chewy - too chewy to shred.

Best Chinese food I’ve had, definitely value for money too.

I used to like this takeaway but not anymore portions of Noddles smaller but dearer chips not nice I will not go back unless starving

Absolutely disgusting food, just thrown out nearly £50 worth of food as mostly inedible, Cantonese chicken just basically vinegar and salt pepper chilli chicken just crispy bits of batter with not a hint of flavour
