Lovely food, atmosphere was so nice and relaxing listening to the gentleman in the corner playing the piano, staff are polite all in all great evening would definitely recommend 😀

Can be very good but often poor, the takeaways are especially poor but always expensive and do always check that everything you ordered is delivered

Absolutely worst service of my life: Never known anything like it 2 hours and the food still has not arrived Uber eats driver waiting in the restaurant. Guy on the phone can say delay in kitchen £63 on food that’s not even still arrived!

Food was nice but put off going back by rude attitude of the older guy, don't know if he's the manager or owner.

I came in with my Mrs and the waiter was outright disrespectful to me and her by making cheeky remarks and not collecting the order correctly and laughing about it when it was served incorrectly, the food was very sub par, spice was really overpowering and didn’t finish my meal. Would not recommend even if you’re desperate

I had an amazing experience at East Bar Grill! The Sunday roast is absolutely delicious – definitely one of the best I’ve had, and I love that it’s halal. Everything was perfect, from the service to the food – I’d give it a solid 10/10. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience enjoyable. The toilets were spotless, and they even had a hair straightener available, which was a nice touch. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and top-notch service!

A great evening out: good food with a superb atmosphere topped off by excellent piano renditions (jazz versions of 90's classics and even the odd Bollywood number!).

The Piano man set the scene, he did amazing and could play every track we wanted. the Staff as well were really nice and pleasant!

Arrived around 6pm bank holiday Monday to a less than half full restaurant. After 25 minutes had to ask the waiter if he’d take the order, ten minutes later someone came to take the order. Waited for 50 minutes more and still not even a popadom or a drink had shown up, Got up, complained and walked out after wasting about an hour and a half in total. It’s a shame because I’ve been before and enjoyed the food but never again. Service was abysmal.

They have no allergen menu!! Which far as I’m aware is a legal requirement in all restaurants!! Apart from that the food was lovely but overpriced in my opinion, £12 for a small pot of curry then extra for the rice. Again it was lovely but very expensive imo.

It was a good experience I especially liked that the bar above the restaurant had a lively nightclub vibe about it. The only thing I'd say improve is clean the fixed seating areas as they look discoloured and not cleaned in a while. The naan breads are very large I enjoyed the tasty curry I ordered.

Can't fault it. The place is well presented, has a great atmosphere with the piano in the corner. Food was excellent and the options felt endless. Portion size was generous. Staff were attentive and helpful, they overheard my mum mention it was my birthday and even brought over a cake. Great place

Food too hot not the normal heat of a balti . 11 of us went and all had different mains and all said there's was hotter than average ..staff are ok but hover around yr table waiting to pounce . Atmosphere is what you make.it your self as there really isn't any . Floor under our table was dirty with old dried up chips stuck under chair leg . Dirty knife ..add sir charge too which is a bit cheeky !! 3 *** is all id say , prob wouldn't go back

When we come here for something to eat its always a family occasion so they'll be 30+ of us and for such a large group the service is always great waiters are so attentive and food is delicious 😋

Food is very tasty, and traditional. Staff are attentive and are keeping an eye on tables so if you need anything they are available for you. Kid friendly, and they have many options for children aswel. My daughter had a pizza and fries with apple juice and enjoyed it. My niece had fish and fries, the batter was crunchy and little one enjoyed her meal. The only downfall can be some of the customers, not the most pleasant to be around. Very rowdy and loud, conversations are not mature but this isn't the restaraunts fault as they have to accomodate everyone.

Just eaten here for the first time, 2 adults and 2 kids aged 14 and 10. We had starters, mains and deserts. The food was amazing, everyone complimented the quality of the food. The service was great as well, the atmosphere was great too. All in all it was a lovely meal, quality food, great atmosphere and reasonably priced. No complaints and will definitely be going back!

Recently just ate there with friends. We all agreed with thought the atmosphere was tense. We got sat right next to the piano player which was nice but was too loud as we couldn’t hardly hear what anyone was saying. Waitress took our orders and we got back “is that all you’re ordering” not exactly professional. More than likely won’t return.

Brilliant place to go for authentic Indian food. The atmosphere was lovely the staff were amazing very welcoming and catered to our every need. The food was quick served but cooked beautifully and well seasoned.

Just been to East for a lovely meal. From the warm friendly genuine welcome, to the attentive prompt service, to the delicious, nicely presented food. I can’t rate this place highly enough. All in all it was a lovely dining experience. I didn’t feel herded in and out like some of the popular but tired places on Leeds Road that aren’t taking as much care with the quality of food now. I looked online to compare menus and prices the Leeds Road ones don’t display prices, but East’s menu is very very extensive with everything including prices displayed online. It felt like a really lovely quality meal out and well worth the money. Which is really great prices. The place looks new and fresh with a classy look to the place. There’s a great drinks, wine and large cocktail list too. Give it a try, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Oh and it’s not a big chain. It’s a local Pudsey quality lovely restaurant.

Mixed starter was good and full of flavour. Main dishes unfortunately not so good. Every curry tasted the same and just tasted like the base gravy, no spices or flavour coming through. Staff polite and helpful.

Not for me at all. Folk were raving about it and some of our group enjoyed it but as a bradford man this place didn't meet my standards. Staff were spot on and I couldn't have asked for better service but the food wasn't for me. Bland and the chicken wasn't nice. My wife struggled to eat her meal and my chicken and spinach was spinachless. Only my view though, I have pretty high standard as a bradford man when it comes to chicken and spinach curry.

What can I say? Absolutely brilliant! The place is lovely & classy (the ladies toilets are huge & even have a hairdryer & curlers!). We did wait a while for our main course but that wasn't an issue at all because it gives you a chance to soak up the atmosphere and listen to the amazing pianist, Nigel. Having that live pianist just takes it to the next level, for me. The food was delicious - I had to get a doggy bag there was so much! I honestly cannot fault this place. It was our first time (hubby & I) but it definitely won't be our last!

If you’re planning on going for a Sunday roast dont bother, food was so bland. Im someone that likes spices, was expecting abit of flavour on the chicken but it was completely bland, waste of money. Was close to a school dinner.

Wow! Def 5 stars. We were walk ins and the atmosphere was vining, food was super tasty, enormous portions (biggest naan ever), good value and the service was excellent. A brilliant pianist added a lovely ambience and a surprise birthday sparkler was the cherry on the cake. We came from Norfolk or we would be back every week! Tell your friends, go there for a celebration and you won't regret it. Thank you East! <3

As a group of 16 booking on arrival I was told that none of my group was here yet , would I like to sit at the bar or wait at the table, I chose the table as I had a 7 month old baby with me, at the table sat the rest of my group that I was told wasn’t there. I had to ask for a high chair for the baby. A lot of the staff just stand there in a line and stare at you and felt very rushed with wanting to take orders etc even tho we didn’t have enough menus for everyone to look at, it felt like they wanted us out of there never mind the amount of money we were all spending, despite this the food was very nice although a few of us did get upset stomachs.

I’ve only ever been for the Sunday Roasts and I do love it. I usually get the mixed (chicken, beef and lamb). Really nice, the veg is great too. I heard that they’ve changed things recently but I bet it’s still great!

We pre booked for a group of 25 for my daughters birthday. From the minute we stepped in everything was perfect. The pianist was a lovely touch to our dining experience. The food was delicious, hot and served in a timely manner. The service I received from the manager Mr Shabey was perfect. I would definitely recommend East to all my family friends.

Had the English Sunday roast , the food was was cold and rushed I ended up with a bad belly the next day would not return 🤢

So we went for a nice mother's day meal but unfortunately, they really let themselves down. We asked for a high chair, we were instructed to get our own from the store place next to our table. When we picked up the highchair, it was full of broken glass, which inevitably led to a complaint from the word go. We were given no menus and had to ask 3 times. When our food did arrive, it was cold, not even warm. We had to send all our meals back. They reheated our plates and re served them ehich took the frisp out of the yorkshire pudding and potatoes. The veg that was supposed to be served with our meals was served after we had almost finished. We waited for our drinks and again these were served almost at the end of the meal. The dinner itself was nice, however unfortunately due to all the errors, it was not a pleasant experience and so I am unable to leave a better review. We were given a 10% concession off the bill, which was a nice gesture. I have been to this establishment several times before and never had a bad experience. I'm putting it down to a bad day at the office

Had a birthday party hear yesterday and the food was ok and loop warm.When you buy a gosht lamb curry it's served on a skillet and is sizzling mine was not at all that it was not Evan hot and dry with no sauce few people at are party sed the food was not hot at all then we asked for the bill and they tried doing us on that plus a £24 service charge I was gob smacked. I will not return to this place very disappointed shame really

Wish I could give 4.5, the food itself was 5 stars without question, probably the best curry I have ever had and will 100% return. The loss of half a star comes from 2 minor points. 1st is the table sizes we found very small especially when ordering multiple sides and dishes it quickly becomes very cramped. 2nd is the toilets, while these are clean it looks like there has been a flush cover missing for quite some time and needs probably half a days worth of maintenance works for a handy man to do some caulking etc to bring it up to the standards of the rest of the place. The service was outstanding, the food quality was divine.

Went with a party of 16 food was awful and service was terrible. And getting charged for water which took ages to arrive was just ridiculous. When we have been to other restaurants we havnt been charged for pickle tray which they charged us for. Will never go again

Got a curry tonight 50.00 for 2 a treat for me and my wife curry tasteless some weird mixed starter wasn't even cooked chips soggy it's a thumbs down from us only thing what was any good was prawn puri we will not be spending our hard earned money back here again thanks for ripping us off
