Nice little place for some good Indian dishes. (update) Inconsistent food and service qualities.

The ambience was top notch. Loved the service out there. And the food was damn good. We did order chicken chukka, chicken biryani and lamb biryani, the taste was amazing. Would be a better place to dine out with friends or family or all alone as well. Loved the service and food

This is my second visit, and while the food was excellent, I was quite disappointed with the service today. Last weekend, the experience was much better. I really appreciated how Sai, the server girl, professionally recommended drinks and guided me through the menu, explaining everything in detail.

Good place to have Dishes from the South of India. Do try Dosa or uttapam there, it's worth it. They also have lassi which was a surprise.

Visited early evening before going to the cinema across the road. The outside of the restaurant looked rather scruffy with rubbish and builders rubble left outside along with with 2 large commercial waste bins. Despite this the food was fresh, tasty and arrived quickly. Some fantastic Southern Indian food. The Masala Dosa was rather good. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Definitely worth visiting.

It is a very good place for Indian food especially South Indian food.

Food is great, lots of options for vegetarian and non-vegetarian at reasonable prices. However, you will often find long waiting times due to lack of staff working and them prioritising online orders. Unfortunately we found the restaurant can also be quite cold, we have visited the restaurant with elderly people and it was a struggle for them to maintain warmth, so I recommend if you decide to visit to wear something warm or just order online to avoid long wait times

Very good quality authentic south Indian food. Service was very slow for us and atmosphere was a bit dull, but no complaints about food quality or taste. A bit quicker service will attract more people and good reviews

One of the most amazing places to get the best south Indian food. The staff is amazing, polite and very helpful. They do recommend some of the best dishes and to be honest all their dishes are best. Very clean hygienic and peaceful place. Must visit.

Welcomes you with a mix of Hindi and Tamil songs. The interior is lovely with artwork. Liked dosa and onion rava dosa. Onam sadhya was tasty and filling.

We stumbled on this restaurant while visiting Warwick. Only the chicken us halal The food was tasty. The dosa was freshly made. We enjoyed the starters. Service was slow. We asked for extra napkin. It never came. Themocktails we're average. The lassi was very thick and sour with hardly any mango sweetness. It gets very busy and noisy . Overall good south Indian food

The order was delivered 40 minutes late from delivery expected time and over an hour and a half after it was ordered. Please don’t take orders if you’re busy at the restaurant. I could have ordered elsewhere and had food faster.

1st time in uk Had very nice and tasty Indian food. It reminds me of ghar Ka Khanna. Maysor masala dosa was delicious. And the dessert too was spectacular.

Very poor, I was asked to collect the food at 1PM but I came in 20mins later than the time of collection but still the food wasn’t ready. This isn’t the first time.

I recently dined at dwarkamai and had a fantastic experience. The ambiance was cozy, and Daniel’s service was top-notch. He crafted a lime soda that was perfectly refreshing. I’ll definitely return to explore more of their menu.

They charge one of the most highest delivery fees (£2.50) on UberEATS, which I don't mind paying. But they take more than 1.5 hours to deliver the food. Which makes me think that it's not worth, at all. And moreover, this is the second time I'm putting a review as I was dialed by them and was asked to take the review down!

I am regular customer here. Food taste and quality will be really good here. Today I have tried Mutton Curry dosa. It taste awesome with typical madurai style gravy as side. Must try.. And special mention to Tejal for good service and hospitality.

Had a family dinner and the experience was assessed as superb by all seven of us.The staff served us well with curtesy and a genuine smile .Food was wonderful, the blend of spices gave an authenticity to the dishes .Food was served without delay despite the restaurant being full.The true desire to serve the guests well was evident in all members of the staff .Thank you and we will all go to Dwaraka Mai to enjoy a good meal, almost like a home cooked feast

Tasty food with awesome ambiance

Arrived for our table of 6, to then be asked which table we wanted only to be told "this is the only table we have for 6"… not a big issue, but was unsure why we were asked what table we wanted in the first place. We placed our order for drinks only for one bottle of water to arrive, with the rest of the drinks arriving 15 minutes later. The waiter kept hovering around our table, despite only giving us our menus 2 minutes prior and he kept coming back almost every 2 minutes to see if we were ready to order. When we placed our orders of starters, the waiter came back 10 minutes later to inform us that he needed all of our menus back as they'd run out and therefore needed ours to give to other people - despite us not having ordered our mains yet! Food took well over an hour to arrive, for context - our table was booked for 8pm. Our mains arrived at 9.50pm. No atmosphere in the restaurant, unprofessional service - perhaps print out more than 6 menus in future. The blonde waiter was also racist by stereotyping my race. Wouldn't step foot in this place again even if you paid me.

Happy hour late from max time I was given but not going to moan about that on a Saturday night and delivering to a different town. Food however was great and never had a squid curry but squid was cooked perfectly and will be trying lots more off their great menu

Not your average Curry House fare- this is really very good indeed. Friendly welcome and helpful guidance on a big menu, all well presented and super tasty. Go here and prepare to be educated on what real Southern Indian cooking is all about!

Wanted to try somewhere different, heard good things about this place from Indian work colleagues who visit when over here. Not disappointed- wide choice of authentic South Indian dishes, Sambal, Dosa, all Sorts to go at! Really very very good. Tried the Malabar IPA which was a winner as well. Go here, enjoy the difference.

Great hospitality as you enter in, the food was nice. The sambar with dosa reminded the taste of my home sambar. For Chole Bature, the Sabzi was little less compared to Bature size, serving a little more makes it merrier. Taste was good

Bad experience from the delivery driver. I order from dwarakamai quite often. I know the delivery drivers as well. But the delivery driver who give me parcel on 05.05.24 at 9.45 was really rude. The driver just came and said come out and collect the food. I said I work in reception I can't come out now and request him to come in. He sound really rude and said can u understand there is no parking space available and ask me to come outside and collect it in a rude sound. I said I will come and when I went outside there was literally no cars outside and plenty of space to park the car. I said there is space u could have park and come inside. He didn't even answer and he give the parcel and close the window and gone without even saying a sorry. Never seen such rude behavior. If he was in a rush he should have said the truth. He said no parking area and can't come out. I said this only I work her and there I request to come inside and put the note whole I ordered. Not saying the food is bad but this was the worst experience from a deliver driver.

Very tasty food and welcoming staff in a relaxing environment. The okra curry and squid starter were really delicious.

Shocking service, made to wait over one hour for food and still never came. Constantly lied to that the food was ready in 15 minutes. 90 mins later still no Food. We left in the end as my parking ticket was expiring.

Disappointing to say the least. The butter chicken is very spicy, the coconut rice contains chilliand peanutes! The popadoms are expensove, tiny and were missing most of the extra items. I've heard good things about this restaurant but I won't be reordering from here if they don't cater to all.

They dont care about the people whonorder from 3rd party vendors like justeat, uber etc. This is the 3rd time I had to wait for 30 min even thogh I am late by 30 min to pick up the items. Their service is very very bad. Not sure about dine in. But online order is a nightmare.

This is for the very poor customer service. We ordered 8 dishes, of which 6 were served in a reasonable time frame but 2 dishes never came despite repeated reminders - those were idli rasam and dal rice - which we didn’t expect that long to prepare. On the fourth reminder they said they’ll cancel idli rasam (outrageous). And we asked for dal rice to be packed which took another 10 mins. Basically one person on the table had to return empty stomach after having waited over an hour. The owner seriously needs to consider hiring more staff and training them well.

The dining experience was disappointing from the start. We had seen the good reviews and thought of trying the food. We reached at 2.10PM, our food arrived significantly late, at 3:20 PM. Frustratingly, the main course, ordered for two, was mistakenly served as one. Attempts to rectify the situation only resulted in cancellation, leaving us with a sense of dissatisfaction. I cannot recommend this place to others based on our experience.

Great Southern Indian food in the area. We walked on through the door to be greeted. As we were the first of the night there was no one else there. A peculiar choice was a "BBQ" soghn on the far wall. We got given our menus and sat down. We placed a order of 3 curries, 2 rices and 4 Naans and Parrota ( A lot over Ducth Pancakes ). This was too much food for the three of us. The price including 3 soft drinks was £67.95 but it was too much food. Everything an order was placed a buzz would go off behind us but as we were the only people there we didn't mind too much. First we were given our rice with a 5 minute wait until our curry. The food was absolutely lovely.

The restaurant serve authentic south Indian food, went with a group of 7, Ordered various items best dishes were Mysore masala dosa (properly fermented batter), pepper chicken, chicken 65, fried rice (madras style) & paneer 65. Biryani & Chettinad curry was good too. The service was good & really fast.
