Rude, snooty server who made a rubbish cocktail. Would not recommend.

Not a bad little place, enjoyed a couple of cocktails.

Great cocktails, expertly created. I felt lucky to get a seat inside on a Saturday night. On the expensive side, but probably normal for the now-suoer-chic Stevenson Square.

Great bar, lovely staff, but strange that it's now hidden behind a wall of branding. I assume the owners are making enough cash from that to make up for the loss of turnover. It was dead in there tonight.

Menu incorrect, was told beers change. Then maybe don't have a menu with beers on. Slush machine not working but told it would be later. Staff were rather rude. We had booked a table and edited the time we were arriving but they obviously didn't get the update. Toilets were absolutely filthy, urine all over the floor 😔 Tables and benches outside weren't very stable. Was very disappointed for my 1st visit.

Was expecting a more darker and tucked-away Speakeasy. It gave a more Private Suite Vibe rather than a hidden Speakeasy. The Bartenders were great and the drinks, though overpriced, are decent.

Best cocktails I've had in Manchester. The bar staff knew how to mix a drink. Good Verity of drinks including specials. Romantic for me and my wife on a weeknight.

Cool place with speak easy vibe. Staff all had a cool chilled vibe and the decor was cool and functional. Pleanty of seating too.

We found this little gem quite by accident as we were looking for a particular pub and was walking past. It looked like a music shop from the front and I just happened to look in the window and saw there was a bar in it. A couple of people came out at the same time so we thought we'd have a peek indoors and it was fabulous so we stayed for a drink. It is a cocktail bar and has al sorts of fabulous shorts, I love brandy and rum and the bar man recommended a lovely rum for me to try. We will definitely go back and will recommend it to others as we love finding these hidden bars.

Very nice and chilled out bar that serves a nice cocktail. The environment always really welcoming and had a good vibe.

The bar staff were rude when I walked in, did not acknowledge us, and were having a heart to heart at the bar. I even gave a menu to people who walked into the bar after us as the staff were uninterested.

Very discriminating, manager is not a nice person and was refused service cause I made my way there on my bike. Door men were lovely though.

Staff were miserable. Drinks choice was barely a choice, unless you want a cocktail. Nice and clean inside, some outdoor seating but no one ever comes to clear tables, so expect to do that yourself.

Great little hidden bar in the Northern Quarter with great cocktails

Booked on for 1900 and when arrived at 1850 nothing was sorted. Got a table by chance and yes the cocktails were ok….old fashioned was very nice but the frozen cocktail my wife had was horrible in her words. Overall very disappointed with this so called secret bar. Would not rush to return.

Quite a plain bar once you're inside but it's the drinks you'll want to come here for. I can't remember what the other half had but I had probably the best Old Fashioned I've ever had. Would go back just for another. Cheers.

Anywhere that claims to have "mixologists" rather than bar staff is invariably overpriced. To charge £9 for a "frozen strawberry daquari" which is just a small glass of red slush puppy with a splash of rum is, quite frankly, ludicrous. At this price point I'd expect fresh strawberries. An additional star awarded for the warm welcome and the friendly staff, but not somewhere I'll be returning to in a hurry.

Me and my husband had our first date here. Now married with 2 kids. This place is fondly in our hearts. Hope to return again soon to relive our first moments together. I just remember the candy floss cocktail lol and the secret nightclub next door

One of the original quirky NQ bars before the whole place got flooded with Made In Chelsea or Shoreditch wannabes. Live music on a Sunday was pretty good. Cocktails are still lush, I miss the smoky old fashioned though. Still laid back and casual cool. Please don’t change too much!

Got recommended this place by a friend, turned up, seating outside (great in this heat), asked for a banana colada which was just slush with a tiny bit of alcoholic taste, wife got an espresso martini.... we both left most of our drinks as they were not very nice, even after paying £19!!! 😬 Should have just got a red stripe.

About half 5 today, I had a quick look inside, all the tables looked empty. Half the benches outside were free, but we were denied empty because we had a pram. The guy at the door wouldn't even let us sit at one of the benches outside. Everywhere in Manchester has accomadated us with the pram. Can't believe dusk til pawn had an issue with it

Do not go here, they took money out of my account despite the face I have never stepped foot in the place and now refuse to answer any of my emails or calls.

Over 7 years ive been coming to dusk till pawn and every time been made to feel welcome. The cocktail are outstanding, music is great. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Just wish you would bring the mill

A good reputation for cocktails though the magic is somewhat stripped away when having a drink outside. It's a speak easy with some great mixologists. The inside has the vibe you'd want from a speak easy though covid of course hampers the atmosphere. Outside drinking sounds like a good idea but sadly leaves the team short of options when it comes to presentation drink wise which for me is part and parcel of the experience (and the price tag). Ultimately the drinks are great and I hope to try the place again when it really can work to it's strengths.

I was excited by the website and the bar’s exterior, but inside left a lot to be desired. We stayed for a couple of bevs- mine was a cocktail followed by a Hooch. The staff are friendly and willing to make drinks that don’t appear on the menu. That’s all there is to be said, really. It was very unexceptional- given the name and window décor, I was hoping for more of a pawn shop vibe, similar to what The Washhouse has done with their brand.

This has recently become one of my favourite bars. Fantastic atmosphere, love the decor, great cocktails and even on a Saturday night, its just the right amount of busy. I will be back time and time again.

The cocktails here are some of the best in Manchester. They're pretty expensive but definitely worth it. It can get busy at weekends so be prepared to stand but the atmosphere is great so worth a visit

Wouldn't quite call it a speakeasy but just as well. The staff there are genuine in their hospitality and want to look after you. No entrance fee. Seating is for around 30 people I recon. Their cocktail menu says that it is ever changing and they were also willing to make any cocktails you suggest. Saw people order espresso martinis and long island ice teas, neither of which were on the menu but the staff happy to oblige. I would happily go again.

An edgy bar, so edgy you might not realize that it actually a bar from the outside. I love it here, it's got a great ambiance but you pay for that - it's quite small and the drinks are expensive. The bar staff are very friendly and welcoming and they have an unusual range of cocktails. People tend to use this as a traveling bar eg drop on for one or two and move on.

Secret little bar in mamchester!

I loved this place - exactly what I want from a bar - dark, cosy, great selection of drinks. I had a delicious coconut cocktail. From the outside this bar appears to be a pawn shop, but step inside and you find a gorgeous cosy bar. We went here for a mid-week drink after a business meeting/dinner so expected it to be fairly quiet, but there were a few people in here when we visited and the atmosphere was nice and chill. I will come here again when I am next in Manchester.

Intimate, not too loud and good drinks selections

A little hidden gem. One of my new favorite bars in the NQ for cocktails. Interesting menu, which has been thoughtfully crafted and curated for a far more interesting drink. Skilled bar tenders, cool laid back vibe, which oozes class. Devoid of outdated generic cocktails such as "Cuba Libre", Tiquila Sunrise" and others. If the latter is more your idea of cocktails, perhaps try Revolutions, where you'll pay a similar price, but will have a drink consisting of mostly ice, cola or other fillers.

This bar sells a good range of cocktails. The prices are a little high, even for Manchester. They do not offer very much in the way of beer. The bar is kept extremely dark.

ber tenders have obviously learnt the words to the playslists, cheesy and terribly inappropriate with female customers. spend ten minutes just watching one stir a beverage, on the plus had a nice love and perfection cocktail and then left.

Used to be fun. No free joke box. Standard cocktails with mimosa effort.
