It's a great pub. But it closes by 10pm on a Saturday. This is really unacceptable. It's a sign of how much this country is in decline. How is it okay that a great pub closes so early?

This has been my local for ten years. Dread to think how much cash I’ve handed over to a miserable miserly business. Passive aggressive and just plain aggressive owner. Heaven forbid you don’t drink alcohol or you might sit for five minutes before ordering a drink. Sure the outdoor space is great, buy your tinnies from the corner shop and save your money.

The best pub in the area hands down. Great vibes. Get a beer and drink it on the lawn.

Great atmosphere in the summer, local pub

Landlady is one of the rudest people I’ve ever come across. Arrived to be told they’d done last orders. My friend went inside to use the bathroom and saw they were serving. She asked the girl behind the bar if they were still serving and she answered “yes”. We went inside and ordered some drinks from the girl behind the bar, when the land lady came over yelling at us like naughty children that she’d already told us about last orders and began blaming her licensing hours, all whilst at the other side of the bar people were being served drinks no problem. It made no sense!

Lovely pub with ample of green space at the front, perfect for those summer evenings. Good location close to haggerston station. Gathers good crowd of people.

A hidden gem, aged simplicity, a hideaway in a secret part of Haggerston. Excellent out front green space overlooking the park. English working class style authentic interior and bar selection with sports on big screens. The walls of trophies and centre piece electronic chalkboard tell a clear story of a passion and success of darts. This one's a bullseye for a welcome, thoughtful escape.

This is an amazing local pub, with great staff and they do an alcohol free bottle of beer.

Interesting pub. The outdoor area is great, quiet; perfect for a few drinks in a summer night. The indoor area is quite different. Quite old fashioned i would say and as simple/bland as it gets. Beer selection could be better too.

This pub is a work of art, the staff are always friendly and serve pints with a bit of personality, the inside is possibly the best place to be during a London winter and the outside is the best place to be in a London summer. Sometimes I ponder if it could be good to have a strong IPA added to what's on tab then I catch myself and realise that would go against the whole premise of this institution. The only negative thing which isn't the pubs fault are all the irritating new age Man City fans that tend to frequent on game day.

Lovely pub, but their main attraction point is the space outside, which is where everyone goes with their drinks.

Lovely place, lovely staff, good selection of ales and ciders. Didn't have any food but the plates I saw going out looked great.

Horrible experience. I went in and asked to use the toilet as I am pregnant and was far from home. I was refused by the landlord and the bartender unless I paid with cash, I did not have any cash on me and they decided to be incredibly rude to me. They were seemingly angry as the pub was empty and ‘hadn’t had any customers in today’ - I’m not surprised considering their atrocious attitude.

Great pub! Amazing atmosphere and such friendly welcoming owners at bar staff. I watched the football here on a glorious afternoon. People were happy inside and with drinks on the grass outside. Brilliant place.

Stumbled upon this place was loved it . Even got myself a Newcastle brown ale. Excellent space out the front and great atmosphere for the football. Will be back

Favourite pub in London hands down

Good old school pub with friendly locals and folk wandering past. A good venue for a couple of drinks and a chat or to watch the footy.

Great spot. Always warm inside. Cheapest pints around. Lovely staff. Sports. Bring your own toilet roll if you might need it for the male bathroom.

Friendliest pub in the area. Unpretentious. Gooners. Pilsner. Carpets. Footy. Great public outdoor area for warm days. That sort of thing.

Corner pub right by the park. One large room with additional outside seating. Very pleasant and efficient service with prices standard for the area. Several big screens for sport. Typical inner-London local, very nice.

A lovely pub right by the park. There are benches outside the pub, and plenty of walls and grass to sit on if no seats are available. It’s reasonably priced, and the staff are lovely. We only popped in for one (famous last words) and stayed for 3 or 4 rounds. A nice relaxing evening in a pleasant environment. Certainly worth a visit if near by.

Really nice pub with a big outside area. Staff are lovely, and the drinks are very reasonably priced. One of the only places you can just pop for a pint without a booking at the moment!

No idea, I maintain the grounds in front of it known as stonebridge common. Which I can say with absolute bias, look nice 5 stars for me ha.

We arrive in this pub, have an almost decent beer. Not even the time to finish the beer, which the bartender asks us if we want to order more, or if we had to get up from the table .. Absurd .. Really unpleasant.

Decent local that plays all the sport. The beer selection is not great compared to other pubs in the area but on a sunny day you can take your drinks outside and sit in the square.

One of the last few places locally to get good value drinks. 3 TVs for sports (shows different events at the same time), staff are lovely and theres a pool table.

It's a local pub. Basic beer selection, a few commercial lagers, Doom Bar and Guinness. Decent for watching a game (as plenty were today), has a pool table, but otherwise uninspiring interior. The front of the pub is what's appealing, with a few pub tables and some space to spread out onto the square in front. Quiet being just residential roads and the park opposite, so not too much traffic. It's fine at a pinch, but I would stick to a place that supports local brewers by offering some craft beers.

A rare find in these parts. Carpet, darts, lagers, tunes.

The owner removed my chair saying that I'm not drinking beer. We had many beers already, that makes no sense. They are very rude the worst kind of people. Keep distance from this pub.
