1st time ordering from this place tonight and it was bang on. Mixed curry spicey hot. Salt and pepper chips and salt and pepper ribs mmm. Will definitely order again.

Known as “The Dragon” on Just Eat I’ve ordered from here SEVEN times in the past four months. Every order has been phenomenal and easily the best Chinese takeaway we’ve ever used. And we’ve had a lot of Chinese (Cradley Heath / Blackheath / Great Barr / Acocks Green / Hall Green / Sheldon / Garretts Green / Castle Bromwich) I’m honestly scared to try anywhere else in case it doesn’t even come close to the quality of this places food and service!

Nice food, nice people. Good portions and usually quick delivery.

I travel all over the country for work and I'm very particular about my food, but this was easily the best Chinese takeaway I've had in a very long time. Perfect service with only a 10-15 mini wait, great prices... hot, flavourful food using quality ingredients, and finally a mixed meat chow mein without any of that horrible gravy/BBQ sauce on. I enjoyed every bite and can't wait to return

Genuinely the best Salt & Chili Tofu I've ever had, have been ordering almost weekly for two years. Amazing service, friendly staff. Good portion sizes Only issue is sometimes the chips can be overcooked, aside from that never had any issues!

Whenever I order from here my stomach is always in agony, never ever happens from any other places. Good portion sizes but food isn’t that great.

Absolutely disgusting, I ordered a beef curry and boiled rice the beef was undercooked and slimey, I phoned and complained and another was sent out ,yet again in only ten minutes!!! I've been ill since and keeping curry to be looked at.When I phoned the second time the phone was put down. Lost our custom !

Absolutely dreadful takeaway. We ordered from here by mistake as we should have ordered from a restaurant with a similar name. We were celebrating a birthday and graduation. We’re so disappointed, the food looked like it had been reheated as it was soggy. One sweet and sour dish had no sweet and sour at all and arrived plain, and the other sweet and sour had what looked like an artificial pink sauce. Other dishes were dry. Never, ever again.

I had a special fried rice. Very nice till we got to the beef. Which looked like someone had chewed it and ynable to eat it had thrown it back into the meal. Yeauk will make sure i don.t have any BEEF meals tough and chewy.!😬

We usually order a takeaway from here weekly and never disappointed until last night. My chicken wings were absolutely uneadible! Soggy greasy and luke warm like they had been lying out for hours on end! Would not have fed them to a dog! Total waste of money🤬

Nice food, don't really have any complaints. But as a Chinese/Thai/Cantonese food lover; I have had better quality food and portions. The place could also do with a little refurbishment.

Best chinease I've ever eaten nooooo gassssss

This is by far the best Chinese takeaway food I've EVER had. The portions are huge, the currys actually beat Balti King and Jilabi and the nana fritters in golden syrup are to die for. The Tupperware come in handy too.

Order few times. Nothing can complaint.

Ordered via delivery yesterday. Had the best Chinese takeaway experience ever. Delivery took a little longer than expected, but it was busy and New Year’s Day. When the order arrived it was accompanied with prawn crackers, two fortune cookies, all complimentary. Also got a Chinese New Year 2021 calendar. What a lovely gift! I ordered salt and pepper chips which was a more than generous portion. Can only say they were amazing. Perfect balance of flavours. Also ordered curry sauce which was nice. For mains I had special fried rice and chicken chow rib, both excellent. Generous portion, tastes good. This will be my new Chinese takeaway place.

Never had such a bad Chinese in my life the rice was not Chinese fried rice it was mushy smelly boiled rice the Cantonese chicken mushy vom it all went in the bin bar the ribs, I know my Chinese and this place is 1star hygiene rating and now I know why.. not healthy at all will make you ill do your research unhygienic.

Had a meal from here last night and I was Ill all night while someone else who ate was sick. Terrible food

We had chicken curry and supposedly egg fried rice although we couldn't find any egg. It was awful. No taste and the pieces of chicken were ridiculously large. Too much salt and the curry sauce was too thick in one portion they'd put a quarter of an onion in and not cut it up. Won't be ordering from there again.

I have order few time .it was so nice and delicious as well.as fresh too.

As the other reviews stated, this food made me ill. We both ate a separate meal and was ill. Have contacted Birmingham Environmental Health and suggest you avoid this restaurant. Given 1 rating July 2021.

Gorgeous as always. Don't like the crab soup so much but wouldn't turn it away.

Collected a takeaway last night, then noticed on the way out that the 5* hygiene certificate was missing from the window. Checked when I got home and discovered they were given just a 1* rating at their latest inspection in July. Disgusting! Food establishment should be made to display their hygiene rating, even if it is low. I won't be eating from here again.

Not a bad takeaway all in. My mate loves the pineapple chicken. And the Plain Omelette is very good. Chips can be a bit hit and miss. Quite often they are fried and fried till they are just crunchy nothingness. Staff are really nice though.

I have never complained about food but me and my husband actually both feel sick after that meal.. The most awful Chinese takeaway I have ever had in my life do no recommend..

If you want to get ill, crack on. This place isnt just rude lately, the food is beyond disgusting. Used to be great, but left more than a bad taste in the mouth within hours of eating here! Never again.

Just used this place for the first time. Curry differs from a standard chinese curry but in a good way, really enjoyed my food but only 4 stars rather than 5 as i found the sauce a bit too watery. Will use again and hope the sauce is a touch thicker.

Ordered food over £35 came cold will not order again

After last night I've ordered from here on three occasions now and every time the food has been exceptional. The portions are generous and the food is delivered promptly and the staff are friendly. This is my Chinese of choice and I will continue ordering from here.

I ordered a chicken fried rice with curry sauce and it didn't look appetising when i opened it. The rice just tasted like salty boiled rice,the chicken was dry and had no flavor at all,i expect quality if I'm paying £7 for my meal,won't order from their again.

Really lovely food 🙂 on time , hot and generous portion sizes. My boyfriend especially rates their salt and pepper chips. Definitely recommend.

Had food from here not long ago and will definetly be ordering again. The people working inside are really polite and kind. The food was delicious the spare ribs in syrup absolutely recommended. Ive been eating Chinese food for a long time and so far this restaurant has impressed me. Will be ordering again soon to try out the dishes they serve.....

First time I have tried this place as I'm new to the area and I really enjoyed it, to me it tasted like Chinese food did before I went off it I've struggled to find a consistent favourite over the years but if this was anything to go by my taste for Chinese may well be back.

Have gone through a lot of different Chinese takeaways through the years and I can honestly say they're #1. Their always quick delivery with great portion sizes make them the best, have had about 5 different orders and never been let down.

Thankyou the The Team in the Kitchen and on Delivery. We have ordered from you several times over the last year or so and our food has always been Very Good. You are our clear favourite for a Decent Chinese that all the family can enjoy. The one issue i have had is that the delivery drivers haven't checked to whom they have been delivering and this has now been rectified with the drivers checking the name on the order. Great Food as always and a Much Improved Customer Service. Well Done.

Was very disapointed with the quality of food after looking up reviews. Was on the toilet about 45 mins after eating so says it all really. Beef shimmered. Ribs were black and the delivery girl tried to scam me for my 2.50 change.. dont believe these reviews

Just ordered a take away from here on just eat, the food came quickly was really hot and very tasty, very generous portions we even got a few extra thrown in... will definitely eat from here again x

I love the food here. King Prawn curry is fabulous.

Use regularly as their deliveries are always early, food is always fresh and hot as well as the portions being generous. Have tried others, but always end up coming back to the Dragon.

Absolutely revolting I ordered a omelette a chips. For a start of the delivery driver in a blue yaris never spoke a word on delivering the rubbish. The omelette fell apart on eating it and the chips was hard as bullets. Ended up taking it back for a refund the kitchen looks in a right mess you would not want another take away on seeing the state of this place.

I live 5 minutes from The Dragon takeaway, however after being text to say our order was on it's way it took over an hour for our food to arrive. When our food did eventually arrive the delivery driver was extremely rude, no communication just snatched the money. Food was cold, and extremely greasy to the point we ended up binning it. Will definitely not be using this Take-Away again.
