Definitely the best Chinese takeaway in Pembrokeshire. Never once had a bad meal from here and have been using them for years...We travel roughly 20-30 miles for it because the food cannot be beaten.

Staying at folly farm camping and it was to wet to go out for food and couldn't be bothered to cook I'm the campervan, it was our first night trying the van out, phone this chinese, lovely manners on the phone food absolutely delicious and massive portions got lots left for tea tonight..reasonable price and quick delivery right to our camping spot definitely recommend to anyone who stays in this area

Second time trying here as takeout , can't fault it. Good food, very quick delivery will definitely try the restaurant on future trips.

Excellent meal with great service even though really busy

Absolutely disgusted after waiting over 2 hours for food that has gone in the bin. Chow mein is by far the dirtiest I've ever had and the chips were half undercooked. All food was cold, not even luke warm. The salt and pepper chicken was decent but that's the only thing paid for that was edible. £3.50 delivery charge for food that comes late, cold and only worthy for the bin. Steer clear!

Wow great place, first time but not the last

First ever visit, we got a takeaway and we were ever so impressed! We ordered on the premises and literally had to wait 10mins

We waited by the sign to wait by for seated customers for quite sometime. Other customers who knew better walked straight in. Once I had calmed down I enjoyed the meal thoroughly.

First time we'd eaten here, great service, fantastic food, decor a bit dated but will defo be back. Plenty of choice for all tastes on the menu. Great options with the set menus, speedy time from order to delivery at the table, good selection of beers and drinks to choose from, woukd be good to increase the "no alcohol" range 👍🏻

This place is renowned locally as a go-to Chinese restaurant. Given previous experiences, I had high expectations for the food on our most recent trip. Sadly, I was quite disappointed. To start with, there was no parking outside - I had to park my car in a dodgy place 5min up the road. I don't mind a walk, so was happy to overlook this! But the food unfortunately didn't make up for it. It was bland and overpriced. I don't think this will be my go-to anymore. But maybe just an unlucky night? Who knows.

Lovely food lovely staff highly recommend

We visited last night, currently on holiday in the area. All four of us are vegan, and I have to say what we had (various tofu dishes) were superb, the best tofu we've ever had. Sadly the service was just not good enough, one of our party's main course took 25 minutes to arrive after every one else's. No apologies as such and I had to complain to get that dish for free, which to their credit they did. The restaurant was very busy, but the staff were plentiful and not overwhelmed.

A disappointing takeaway... We are regulars here and it's usually really nice, but last night our usual takeaway curries contained sauce so thick and claggy that it could be cut with a knife and didn't move on the plate. It really made for a poor meal. Gutted...

Nice place staff very friendly meal was nice but made myself and my family very ill overnight think the chicken was undercooked been there a few times for meals they have been great in the past

Taken us too long to discover this gem! Amazing food and service. Car park a bit small is my only negaitive. Highly recommended.

Absolutely excellent, so tasty! We got a delivery and it arrived quickly even though they were busy. Helpful and knowledgeable about vegan options, would definitely order again.

Would have given this a totally different rating of 5 stars as everything was great right up until I realised my plain chow mein had pieces of meat in it. Not just one but all throughout. Thankfully I noticed before eating this, as a vegetarian of 20 years I'm disgusted. Update: No way it was egg. And plain chow mein should be just that anyway! Not with added anything, meat or egg!

**UPDATED DUE TO OWNERS RESPONSE ** Wasn't going too but added some photos due to the owners response to this review. I tasted it myself and it was 100% what I say it is. ORIGINAL REVIEW. Most the food was half decent. It was delivered quickly and wasn't a bad price.. Although we ordered a couple of dishes for a vegetarian, and the plain chow mein had bits of chicken in. Thats really bad. It went in the bin after half had been eaten.

Had takeaway for 3 people...had to wait 15mins for food..it was excellent best Chinese I've had for ages...☆☆☆☆☆....would definitely recommend...

Amazing food and really quick delivery even though it was super busy

Whilst driving our many hours journey home we found ourselves hungry. So googled a good place to eat. Well this came up and my golly I'm so glad we went! The food was excellent, filling and overall amazing. Hats off the the chef! When we arrived for opening time we managed to get squeezed in for an hour slot and was told to order our starters and mains together as they didn't really have the space for us as the table we was on was for a party that was due to arrive at 6pm (hence why they squeezed us in) but that really didn't bother us as we was starving anyway and knew what we wanted at first glance of the menu. They took my shellfish allergy seriously and the waiter doubled checked I was ok to order my chicken dish even asking if I needed to make sure it wasn't fried in the same oil as anything else. Tbh the chef would know never to cook any dish that has been contaminated with any crustacean foods if any allergy has been reported. Anyway when all the food came out the portion sizes was infact huge! One bowl of rice and one main could feed two people. As a family of 4 we ordered 2 rice bowls, 3 mains and 2 starters. We infact took one rice home as the kids couldn't finish it and one of the kids only ate half of his main too. The only slight eh was once the food came out we was kinda ignored. My husband had to ask 4 times for a drink. 1 waiter took the order then disappeared to take the order of a large group next to us, thus forgetting about the drink, the next 3 times was with another waiter who had to asked about the drink and didn't return for a fair few minutes (around 5) then they checked again but unfortunately by the 4th time the poor waiter just got the drink order again and by this time my husband had nearly finished his food. Other than this hic up I really would come back when I'm next driving down. The food really is that good that it oversees the service that dipped abit.

Staying at a campsite in the area and decided to use this place for a takeaway tonight , what a mistake it's the most tasteless Chinese I've ever had, I had the special chow mein it was tasteless , theres more taste in a pack of supernoodles, beef in black bean was the same and it was only half a tub too. Very disappointing and expensive for what it was , also one of the fortune cookies was stale and soft ,would not recommend at all !!

Decided to go here for my birthday - was nervous as chinese food can be hit or miss. So glad we came here. They got us in last minute (5 of us), the food was soooo nice and the staff really friendly and helpful. The ribs were to die for and the shredded beef 😋 if i am in the area again i would 100% revisit.

We had chicken and sweetcorn soup, chicken and mushrooms, cantonese beef, rice, salt n pepper chips X2 and prawn crackers. It cost £32 so wasn't cheap but was well worth it. All fresh and clean tasting, lovely flavours, good portion sizes, we will definitely be back!

Great food, friendly staff. A little slow getting courses out this time, but all previous times they've been quick. Update 2023: Excellent as always, the gold standard by which we compare all other Chinese restaurants. The chicken satay skewers and crispy shredded beef are perfect.

Excellent meal, quick speedy service. One of the best Chinese we’ve had ever.

Experience of the environment meant on the way in meant we did not eat here. Nothing was maintained. Window frames, carpets, menus, the bar. All looked like they'd had no TLC for many years. Food hygiene cert was very poor though don't remember exactly. Overall impression meant we did not eat here or order takeaway. No comment on that.

This was our first takeaway during our holiday stay in Saundersfoot and OMG it was delicious 😋 The delivery was so quick and I would definitely be recommending this place. We dined in here for the first time Monday 18th July and can honestly say I wished it was my local Cantonese restaurant. The service was excellent,so was the food,and the portions were very generous and the prices are very reasonable too. We asked the young girl who took our order that all our food be low salt and MSG. And they obliged and our food was delicious. We had the crispy roast pork with noodles and the lemon chicken with egg fried rice also beautiful spare ribs to start with. Thanks again for a lovely evening and great food again. First time ordering from here last night and the food was amazing. We ordered a takeaway and there was an hour wait before we could collect but that was to be expected on a busy Saturday night. It was well worth the wait. Food was delicious and hot and really good portions. Best chinese we've had in ages.

Honestly don’t see what the fuss is about. We were really looking forward to this after reading the reviews. We got salt and spice squid, special Chow mien, chicken curry and fried rice at a cost of £30 which I thought was expensive. Anyway on our holidays and this is award winning so happy to treat us. Found it plain, bland and unimpressive. My local take always are much cheaper and tastier than this. Nothing to rave about!

Servis was very good but the food aka the orange pork was way to sour and it was full of British people and no Chinese people and I was the only Chinese person

Collected a take away last week which was so expensive and disappointing. Beef king po which 5 pieces of beef and loaded with large chunks of bad pineapple. Only half full cartons too. Singapore noodles not as tasty as usual. Prices here are so expensive compared to other takeaways in Pembrokeshire. Won’t be returning and certainly wouldn’t recommend.

Normally amazing but this time it was just pure grease . Paid £105 for barely edible food . Not sure what happened here but won’t be back

Probably just had the best Chinese meal that I have ever had. The service was really great,the young lady asked us before each course if we wanted to have a break before the next one. The food was tasty full of flavour just a brilliant meal,would highly recommend

Went for a 90th birthday, staff were lovely and really accommodating. We had a large group with kids and we all had a great time, food was phenomenal highly recommend

Not great, service wasn't the friendliest immediately greeted by a grumpy host moaning that we were 5 mins late. There was a large group of us and nobody was that impressed with the quality of the food. Had to pack our own takeaway which was weird. Place looks a little run down inside and needs a tidy in the entrance.

Excellent food, though now getting so popular that wait times are extremely long.

Classic Chinese restaurant or takeaway with the added benefit that it caters well for dietary requirements such as gluten free since many dishes can be adapted and their knowledge of cross contamination seems good. Authentic food and decor with friendly and capable staff. Their car park is quite big though it can still get busy. A fair way out of Saundersfoot so we drove though it’s possible to walk. I’ve tasted better but it was a tasty meal overall, less then £20/head for mains/drinks/service though you can order more substantial set meals.

31/3/23 purchased a take away for lunch , very abrupt male served me and when I checked my meal there were items missing . Food was ok. Won’t be going there again Huw Gardner

Best Chinese in Pembrokeshire by far.

Ordered for delivery at 5pm and it was delivered within half an hour and still hot. Food was very tasty and all the meat was tender. The crispy beef was stunning. With any other Chinese takeaways we usually have some leftovers but this was so tasty we couldn't resist eating it all!

Ordered for collection and our order was prepared quickly. Food was fresh and very hot which was great. The chicken fried rice was insanely good genuinely never had a Chinese fried rice that good. All of our dishes were delicious. Chicken curry and beef in black bean were amazing. Chicken satay skewers were slightly dry but overall a really good takeaway.

Lovely sit down meal. I had chicken noodles and chicken in oyster sauce. Portions are very generous and delicious. Staff are very friendly and polite. Book ahead!

8 of us came for a birthday feast and all left very happy. The set menus were great, we mixed a few set menus to get as many dishes as possible. Everything was excellent, especially enjoyed the seafood lettuce rolls, salt and chilli squid and the prawns in black pepper. Will definitely be returning soon

Saturday evening at 6pm I called to order a takeaway dinner for four of us (two elderly parents) to be collected. This was a treat for my elderly parents who can’t get out anymore and we’d come to Pembrokeshire to visit them. I did think I’d might struggle to get through on the phone at that time of evening, especially on a Saturday, but after a couple of attempts I’d phoned our order through and was told it would be ready at 6:40pm. We have been coming to this wonderful restaurant for at least 10 years or even more. It’s always a treat when we visit Pemb’s to go with my parents and when our children were little they’d look forward to going for the best Oriental restaurant ever! Sadly my parents can’t visit anymore, so we takeout now when we visit and I was so happy this time to see they’re now offering a delivery service. That made my mum so happy. The food here is the best we’ve ever had and the staff are wonderfully efficient. I’m so pleased to see they’ve won The Food Awards Wales 2022 for the best oriental. Well done Dragon Palace you really deserve this award. Thank you! 🙏

We loved the House Special curry and house special rice to share, plenty of beef , tender. Lovely taste .we enjoyed our takeaway.

Excellent food and good service. Only issue for me was that the spare ribs were too salty otherwise I couldn't see any issues. Restaurant had a lovely spacious area.
