Me and my good friend ate at Dragon this evening and we couldn't fault it. My friend was making all sorts of noises at the duck options. She eventually went for the fried noodles, Udon style. "The duck was really succulent" she said. "The vegetables were fresh and crunchy", she added. I chose the Chop Sui Chow Mein. I appreciated the perfect quantity of vegetables to meat, and it wasn't overly salty. I also ordered the O.K. ribs. They were more than Okay! The meat fell off the bone. "The meat juice was dripping off your lips" my friend said, as I polished off the bones. Seaweed, chips, and crackers all complimented the mains. 5 Stars from me and my "friend".

When I walked in, the beautiful murals gave me a cozy feeling. The Chinese food here is authentic and the milk tea is delicious. It turns out that this store gave me a very good experience.😊😊

There are a lot of Chinese food, the taste is authentic and the experience is great. Milk tea highly recommended！ Just a little cold.

Terrible food and really rude when you tell them it’s not up to the standard you’ve paid for. Avoid this one and have a look on Just Eat for other places that are much better!

This place is my new favourite for Chinese takeaway. I've had a lot of items from the menu and it's all been cooked perfectly very tasty but most of all I love the value for money. I first came to dragon because my usual place was closed. I ordered what I would normally get from my first choice and was pleasantly surprised by the price then when I got home and started to eat the food I was sold and dragons because my go too for take away food

Very rude and arrogant woman. I walked in and said hello, I got no answer. I then asked for the menu and she walks away and says sorry no menu. I walked out and she says “bye bye” in a very cocky tone of voice. No need. Glad she didn’t get my money.

Got there at 6.30pm. Order was taken very promptly Food came within less than 15 minutes. Very delicious 😋😋😋 Loved the whole experience. Just wish that it wasn't cash only, otherwise excellent!!! Will definitely recommend!!

Tasty food but did take over an hour to deliver

The food is nice but a couple of there dishes, well let's just say there is room for improvement.

We had a family birthday party for my grandson comprising a party of nine. Six of us shared the banquets while three of us ordered separate dishes. The food was excellent. A nice touch was the banquet appetizers were served on individual plates. All in all an excellent meal.

Ordered chicken balls and was unfortunately given pork balls. Tried to call restaurant 3 times and no one picked up so was unable to resolve this. It is a shame due to the fact it is our normal Chinese restaurant and never had issues until now.

Terrible service, when I ordered was told 1hr 15 wait for delivery which was ok, but after 2 hr and 30 minutes still no sign, tried phoning to see were it was, which took me another 30 minutes for someone to answer the phone to be told it will be a further 20-30 minutes before it will arrive, so told them cancel the order. I know under these circumstances at the moment things are difficult but just be truthful when taking the order how long it’s going to be.

Very good, if you can get through. They don't bother to answer the phone. Just keeps ringing out.

Don’t usually write reviews however tonight I felt I just had to, the food here is always excellent but tonight it was sooo good that I have to mention it, I have just eaten the best vermicelli chicken ever I also had a portion of the mushrooms, delicious, my husband had a chicken and mushroom curry -really delicious- and seaweed, all in all an absolutely delicious meal and such big portions that we can eat it all again tomorrow, well done dragon.

Very let down. Good for price though. When our delivery arrived we were missing about 3 meals and chips. We rung up and they brought our missing items. When checking through it we were still missing sides. Rung back and they said they were closing and hung up. No reduced or anything.

Some veggi options are very good but don't expect to get a cold Japanese beer.

I crave this place at times! The best spicy rice and salt& pepper chicken in the area, service is always rapid and food is always quality. Gotta stop there if you're in the area.

Went for the first time a couple days ago, the staff are super nice and the food is good. Gave 4 stars though because the card machine wasn't working, but other than that it was great!

We used to love Dragon but our last visit shocked us all. First of all the place looks less like a restaurant now and more of a canteen. There were no Christmas decorations up that they usually put in the window and so on.. and the tables had horrible plastic sheets on them. The place absolutely stank of cat litter! We couldn’t believe how strong the smell was.. it wasn’t the smell of food, just cat litter! The service was absolutely shocking. No one came over for a while and then the first thing they say is that it will be a while because they’re busy... I mean, in a restaurant they should be saying it in a better way like, oh we are a little busy tonight - can I get you some drinks and prawn crackers while you wait? The food wasn’t as nice as it has been in the past, gone are the fancy plates and separate dishes for rice and main meal - the rice and main meal was already tossed together on a plate! Awful! Will not be visiting again sadly. Shame too because I used to really like the place.

Wouldn’t give this place a 1 star. Had food here on many occasions and every time I’ve had a bad experience the only reason I choose this place as a take away is because it is local and the closest to my house, every time I have ordered with this take away I order the same food and every time they charge me a different price, I have recieved my food being freezing cold, rock hard or dry. This time I have never been so disgusted and I will never order from here again I phoned to place an order and I was told it would be delivered in an hour, I phoned back numerous times to enquire about where my food was but no one answered the phone. An hour and a half later I ring again and the lady tells me that they haven’t started cooking my food yet, I am truly disgusted and will never be ordering again!!! Very over priced for the quality of the food and shockingly bad service!

Ordered food for delivery... waited 2 hours . Rang back several times .... still nowhere to be seen . After she said 30-45 then 10 mins then he’s on the way. Just don’t bother FULLSTOP .

The food here is wonderful and the staff are really knowledgable about the food. Very nice to sit in as it doesn't get too busy and they also offer takeaway.

I usually use Dragon as more of a takeaway, but I have eaten there a few times. The service is excellent, and the food is what you'd expect - very nice and filling, though quite expensive.

The salt and pepper wings, crunchy batter and tasty spicy chicken with fried chili and onions, the deeeelicious crispy hoi sin duck, the spare ribs, and the sweet beef brisket bowl - everything I've had on my three trips here has been superb. Chefs roll their eyes when I come in cause they know I'll be here for ages. Funny cheeky waitresses. Bit dingy and unassuming from the outside but the food is on point!

This place was excellent as a lunch time visit. The lunch menu was £8 and was more than enough​ even for a big guy like me!

Super friendly staff, wheelchair accessible and staff always have helped with the door if I struggle. Food is great, sometimes I just tell them to surprise me and I've enjoyed it every time! Very quick service, have only ordered take-away. Would recommend.

Bastante decepcionados con comida de esta noche. Siempre he me encantó la comida de allí y nunca tuve ningún problema. Esta noche la comida se entregó a 10 minutos de pedir que obviamente significaba que había sido permanente. fue una piedra fría y también tuve un corto pelo negro en mi comida!

Me and my girlfriend wanted to try this place for a while. Finally got round to it and wasn't dissapointed, the noodles were really nice and they had a good selection of vegetarian options for her.

Dragon have a great menu, are relatively quick with the orders and the food in brilliant. Best take away in Bangor.

Staff are friendly and food is lovely! It's affordable and worth the money. Tried quite a few dishes and my opinion of each was consistent- very good! Definitely one of the best in Bangor for cantonese/chinese food.

Their chicken and mushroom with rice is just amazing! And every time I've brought someone there they always love it too.

They have two menus here one is authentic Chinese food the other is normal westernised Chinese food if you go for the authentic one you will be pleased ( if you like Chinese food ) unlike other so called noodle bars this is genuine

Me encantaba llevar desde aquí, pero esta noche, mi especial chop suey" al platillo era muy seco y no tienen una gran oferta de carne/gambas, etc. Realmente decepcionado. Tanto así que no creo que visite aquí en una prisa.

The food was mostly fantastic though the Thai Curry was too salty, everything else tasted amazing.The portions sizes are great, and the ginger cheesecake for desert was mouthwatering.There are no individual tables, just a few really large ones, it worked quite well, they left quite big gaps between groups of diners so you're not really sitting right next to strangers. Overall it was a lovely fun place - we really enjoyed our meal.

Ordered a few times here...Think only had one good meal.. One time ordered veg spring rolls...First mouthful was meat... Absolutely disgustingCheck first before u bite...£5 refund was given...Gave it another chance...The curry sauce was like chippy mustard curry apart from the raisins!!!!!The duck was so dry and old Daffy Duck would of called it his grandma!!!!The rice was bone dry.Threw the meal away..Won't be giving it another chance...it's actually put me off Chinese it was so bad...The chips need to be cooked in clean oil..Just grease and smell put u off..Both my husband and I couldn't eat the meal..I still feel sick

Phoned the dragon noodle bar with 5 separate meals plus extras, 20minutes to wait and it was ready in a box when I arrived, all requests i.e no mushrooms in one meal extra veg in another was done as requested, excellent service excellent food!!

What once was the best chinease in bangor has gone down hill ! Everything is jus greasy and tastless would not recomend , the chowmein was dry and the meat was over cooked.

Tend to only get the take away from here so can't comment on eating in. The staff seem friendly and the food is really good (with the exception of chips which were soggy when I had them.) and it doesn't cost too much too :)

We have been regulars since our first visit four years ago. Staff are good, food better, veggie delights plentiful. Everything is freshly made on the premises. We bring our students and colleagues here all the time. Very reasonable prices too. Equally good for a quick lunch (service is fast) or a leisurely dinner.

Been on numerous occasions and the food is consistently very good, tend to get take out though so can't really comment on the eating in side of things.

I ate here on a friday night, fairly late but we weren't the last ones there.There were 3 of us, we had 2 pints and one coke.Appetisers; Ribs, seaweeds and spring rolls.Mains; chicken in black bean sauce, plain chow mein, hot spicy squid, vegetables in sweet and sour sauce.Ribs had next to no taste and the seaweed was not crispy, it was chewy.Mains were fine. No pudding.The staff were friendly enough and I think it came to about £15 each, which isn't much to complain about.I don't think it was anything special, nothing set it apart from other similar restaurants.

It's no Choy's, but watching the Chinese news on the telly while you wait is great for making you feel cultured and worldly.

The staff are welcoming and there is a good choice of dishes, including vegetarian, at a good price. You get a good portion size and the place is clean and inviting.

This is the best Chinese takeaway i have been to. The food is really tasty and the ingredients are very fresh. Everytime i have ordered from them they have cooked it fast. The staff are also friendly and nice. Inside the resturant it is nicely decorated with a big mural of the menai bridge. To the person that rated it average I disagree with everything you said and you must just be a grumpy old person, visited on a bad day or the owner of another resturant nearby. :P

Walked in Sat down ordered ,and was presented with one of the best Chinese meals I've ever had fantastic friendly staff and food was as I say faultless,will be making Dragon my regular take away and sit down,10 out of 10 !

had tried chinese in many places in bangor, never been anywhere else since i visited here, takeaway or sit in. Great prices and Great food, Great!

i had a home delivery the time of delivery was as stated "so pleased with that", Food was extremely good quality and tasty, I have eaten from most takeaways in Bangor and by far this is the best Chinese around the area, so I would recommend this to all my friends and family also anyone looking for good quality food.

Across the road you can get the same meal (chicken chow mein) for £2 cheaper but at Dragon it is of a much higher quality. They were very generous with the meat and the sauce wasn't overpowering like at some restaurants. Drinks were cheap too and we dined for about £8 each.

Came on a visit to Bangor and stopped here for lunch. The small sitting area felt claustrophobic although me and my daughter were the only ones in there. From the outside, the place looks dark and closed..but it was better inside. Service was slow and you could hear the chef barking orders or arguing from the sitting area. Food wise- the dishes were nicely presented but on tasting it (I had the chilli garlic chicken, my daughter had special fried chow men) it was loaded with salt and MSG. After drinking several pints of water, I felt full indeed but unfortunately not from the food.

Always excellent fast service and extremely tasty food. The best Chinese restaurant in Bangor by far and also affordable !

Excellent food and courteous service. Good range pf Chinese and Schezuan cooking. Thoroughly recommended.

Only sampled the veggie parts of the menu, but the chilli salt tofu is extraordinary, plenty of large chuks of perfectly fried tofu with lots of peppers, chillies and more in a rich (but not gloopy!) sauce with a small bowl of chilli oil on the side, superb! Can also seriously recommend the veg chow mein. Great place or lunch and not at all expensice!
