Dragon King Chinese buffet Restaurant & Takeaway in North Hertfordshire

The Chinese buffet at Dragon King Restaurant was tasteless. The fruits weren’t fresh and looked like they came out of the tins. The service was slow. I’ve asked a waitress for four Coke Zeros but she only brought 3 coke zeros to the table so I had to ask another waitress to bring me one more Coke Zero. The waitresses don’t speak English well so it’s hard to understand them. My son didn’t eat here but they still charged me for baby dinner and refunded me the money for it. It’s a quiet place. I don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone for a Chinese buffet and I won’t come here ever again with my family. 👎😡

The food is really nice with a wide variety of foods to choose from The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is very clean.

Lovely food, great selection with the amazing mouth filling oranges, very large spoons for the delicious soup, the duck is 10/10, you will not be disappointed, the staff are so friendly, we will definitely be back very soon.

Really good night out for food,But hey there child policy is properly screwed up to the point we had to laught. So we arrive with a 12 yr old and a 11 yr old who both are in height bigger then the restaurants height requirements for children's prices yet our best friends who are of a smaller stature ( 55yrs of age) qualified for child prices and they can out eat Hulk Hogan!! I Surpose it works out either way unless it's 2 adults and 2 children.

We come here often, our little one loves to be able to get his own food (especially the ice cream) love that there is Asahi on tap too!

Plenty of food but very poor quality

Amazing food and great, attentive service. Cant ask for more than that. Now set as a monthly treat :) only one suggestion is it feels a little dark and dingy inside but everything else was on point

Found Dragon King completely by chance and was impressed on our first visit. The food selection is excellent (all the usual favourites plus some unique dishes I haven’t seen elsewhere, which was a nice surprise). Everything was fresh and flavoured/seasoned well. The service was also spot on….friendly, attentive, but not overbearing. Looking forward to returning!

This is my first visit to the Dragon King on 15/05/25. I came with family members & the first thing we all noticed was how beautiful, clean & cosy it was. The decor literally set the scene of peace & comfort. The greeting we received was very friendly & welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, every dish myself & family tried the flavours we're incredible, cooked beautifully & constantly made sure the food containers were topped up. Overall experience Amazing stress free & most enjoyable!!!! 🤩👍 Thankyou, we will be back :) x

I ordered stir-fried beef, hot & sour soup, and chicken with ginger via Deliveroo. Unfortunately, the food quality was very poor. I couldn’t eat it. The meat pieces, both beef and chicken, were thick and chewy, whereas Chinese-style meat is usually thinly sliced and tender, melting in your mouth.

We love the Dragon King, fab food, fun times.
