My wife and I visited Pudsey Lights on Sunday the 4th of December and had a great time. We decided to have an evening meal and visit the Jade Dragon restaurant. We arrived at 5.15 and had a choice of tables and was escorted by a friendly waitress. Ordered drinks and then looked at the menu. A vast selection of food. Menu A was our choice a 3 course which included prawn crackers and then a starter of spring rolls, prawn toast and chicken satay. YUM! Main course Beef with black bean sauce, crispy Chicken with fried rice. Exceptional food. Dessert ice cream with toffee sauce. Congratulations to chef. Waitress for a great service. Recommend a visit when in Pudsey, West Yorkshire.

Nos quedamos realmente impresionados, porciones de tamaño decente, no grasosas y muy sabrosas. Me encantó la tostada de gambas. Normalmente no pedimos chino, pero pedimos desde aquí y quedamos muy contentos. Nos dijeron que la entrega sería de una hora y 20 minutos (ordenamos en la hora pico un sábado por la noche) y llegó en unos 50 minutos. El hombre que contestó el teléfono fue muy servicial y paciente. Servicio de calidad en todos los aspectos.

Fui para el buffet para mi cumpleaños. Comida encantadora y lugar encantador. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Cerveza china real también.

Food was okay and hats off to the chef. Service poor and not responsive to request like cleaning table in between courses.

Just had a works do Sunday buffet and blown away by the quality and choices. I had a soup, crispy lamb (works well as duck replacement) pancakes, a range of other starters then rice and noodles plus some choice main course options. Even the desert range was quality, fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. I was very impressed and will be returning with friends and family.

Meal was for two on a Saturday evening, service attentive and polite, not rushed, restaurant was quiet as it was only 6pm but still nice atmosphere. My starter was a soup,slightly spiced and filling, followed by main course of Szechuan mixed meat which was spicy but not too much and very satisfying.

Our first visit.. staff were slightly slow and forgot some of our drinks .. food was fine. But nothing was knockout altho not bad .. just all a bit average

We came here last night. We were greeted with very friendly staff. Drinks ordered quickly. Ordered the duck to start it was delicious and a lovely portion. I had chicken shezuan delicious 😋 Would definitely recommend

9 guests, the food was really good, freshly cooked and brought at good intervals. We went with a menu we wanted as a banquet style meal and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. Friendly staff, great food what more could you ask for.

Maybe an off night, but my chicken chow main consisted of a bowl of very tepid noodles with three bits of very dry chicken in it. Won't be going again.

as we live in pudsey we like to eat out on a Sunday.the neariest buffet is jade Dragon lidget hill .we used to go most Sundays but the food is the same every week .same starters .same main meals and it's got a bit repetitive.they...

Visited with family on Fathers day - first visit to this little place for 20+ years and was really pleased we went - food and service spot on! everything catered for with a smile ,no undue waiting and food great !!

Food didn't seem fresh as it didn't taste good. Even the simple things like chips and onion rings were hard to bite. Children were not happy at all. delivery time was unacceptable! Now here's one thing to bare in mind, if the restaurant gets busy...

I have lived in Pudsey for 20 years and have used Jade Dragon over the years. The food can be good although a little pricey for what it is. However when ordering take out food I have noticed now on several occasions over the years...

still as good as it was when we came in the 90s, lovely fresh food, good choice, can get jugs of water, very friendly staff, good value for money, we will be coming back again very soon x

Food was lovely. I'm a vegetarian and they had a whole menu for me to choose from which was all included in the buffet and I could still get food from the buffet like the rice and chips, for no extra charge! I got salt...

Would never go back there was so little food out it was embarrassing taking and leaving an empty plate that was not refilled. Everything tasted the same..... Deep fried in dirty fat it was disgusting!

We visited on a Saturday night without a reservation and were not disappointed. The service was excellent, the food was very good and well presented.

We were pleasantly surprised tonight by how lovely the meal was. The service was excellent too. The restaurant is welcoming and very clean. It was fairly quiet yet had a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be returning and would recommend it.

Visited the restaurant with 15 others, the food was average far too many chilli's and chilli's in every meal / starter. The ingredients used are the cheapest but yet there prices are fairly expensive (I know a lot of places do that) but the cheapness...

We visited and ordered special fried rice, special chow main, and chips. The meal was very tasty with a good amount of food.The restaurant itself was very clean, well presented, with beautiful lighting. The staff were very polite and extremely helpful. Would definately visit thus...

We started with duck pancakes - ok but placed on beansprouts to make it look bigger. I then had duck with prawn meat stuffing - ok but on more beansprouts swimming in thin tasteless sauce. Cheap enough at £9 (compared to more upmarket places) but £3.80 for one portion of yong chow fried rice (fried rice with a few bits of chicken and pork plus one small prawn) was a bit much. Mix up over desserts - just brought one toffee banana which my wife had - waited on mine and when it came it was half the size of the first one. Even at £3.25 it was poor value. Service was polite.

Five adults and three children arrived unannounced. The food was absolutely brilliant. Freshly made to order The staff are brilliant Three kids did not phase them Many thanks to you all. As usual excellent.

Nice meal at a reasonable price. Surroundings need a bit of a face lift as same decor a little dated.

The dish i ordered was fresh beef in ok sauce , the food was way too salty , the chips were too thick , the sweet amd sour sauce my partner had was super sickly , the staff however are very friendly really impressed with front of house , nice clean place to dine

We have eaten here quite a few times now. Usually its a last minute choice if we decide to grab a bite to eat before heading home. The staff are lovely and polite. The food is lovely too. They are very accommodating and the portion size is very good. Probably the best place to eat chinese food in Pudsey.

Been to the jade Dragon a few times the food is OK I think it as changed hands a couple of times in the past so the food quality did vary it also as a take away where you can have a beer while you wait for your order overall the restaurant is OK

Worst buffet ever only about 9 dishes to choose from and one was just a whole tray of mushrooms... Duck (very fatty) spring rolls padded out with lettuce. Trays were half empty when we got there food wasn't topped up when we were there. looked like it was sitting for a long time. Don't go if you like variety. Decor old and werid music. £27 for two buffets and two diet cokes.. we felt cheated. the staff seemed nice enough but they didn't notice we had finished and had to go to the bar to pay. Will stick to rainbows farsley in future.

we came for my mums 80th birthday... I had booked months before for 10 adults and 3 children. we arrived just before 5pm to find the door locked.. knocked on the door several times and then a waiter appeared from the back of the restaurant and said the manager hadent arrived with the keys to open up ! We were asked to walk round the back way to get inside which was through the kitchen bearing in mind there was 13 of us including a push chair ! The waiter asked how many of us were there ! I said 13 and that he should have known as it had been booked !! we were shown to our table which no way was big enough to seat 12 of us and a pushchair! The waiter then put 2 more tables up against the table. The manager arrived only to look rather annoyed that the waiter had done this ? The waitress took our order and asked if we wanted tea or coffee and desserts which should have been asked after we had finished our meal. The food was nice but just spoilt with the seating plan .. The manager still looked very annoyed and i can only think she was losing custom with us having the extra 2 tables ? when we left she never asked if we enjoyed our meal or apologise for not been there to open up and having us all stood outside in the cold bearing in mind there was two older people with us . !!!

Walked in on the off chance after the cinema, and had a fantastic meal. Wonderful prawns. Really tasty food.

Mother's Day Buffett was offered but we went for the menu. Nice food just enough on the plate. Nice service and helpful. Would go again. Freshly made wontons for my son. Calamari was nice and fresh.

We recently called into the Jade Dragon on a Saturday evening for a bite to eat. When we arrived the restaurant was only half full and we were asked where we wanted a table. We chose a table up in the main part of the restaurant and were handed a couple of menus and asked if we'd like drinks.

The Sunday buffet is excellent value for money and lovely food which is checked and refilled frequently. The staff are helpful and friendly and you can't beat it if you want well cooked tasty food.

Order on a regular basis we have never been disappointed over the last ear, truly recommend their hot and sour soup and sweet and sour spare ribs well worth it for these two alone.

Booked for a birthday 8 people the service was excellent and the food was excellent all enjoyed the evening and we were well looked after Thank you

Saturday night and our table for 8 was booked at this well established Chinese restaurant. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table , this worked well as the bar area was small. The menu had many old favourites and some Less familiar including lamb dishes of which we ordered 2. Thank goodness we had a lazy Susan on the table as it helped us share our food between the family. I think plates that 'fitted together ' would be an advantage as the table was crowded with food and we lost a dip and some rice to a 'tipping point incident' as it was turned . I was impressed by the portion size , taste and appearance of all our dishes especially the lamb. I did get caught out by a very spicy salt and pepper spare rib, I got a very warm mouth and my eyes watered. My only potentially negative comment is that the place is in need of some

The Sunday evening buffet is excellent. Small quantities brought out regularly so always fresh. Good selection of starters and main courses .Great value for money. The service is prompt and friendly without being pushy. Can't recommend too highly. Sunlik beer very good too.

Just left Jade Dragon having been there with 6 adults and and a baby and can only say that we were looked after superbly. The chef still remembers us from years ago - the service and quality was some of the best I have had and we left full and content. I would thoroughly recommend the Sunday help yourselves buffet - incredible value for money and constantly refilled.

Enjoyed a special curry very much so... Tried a wonton soup for the first time and enjoyed that too with the dumplings! Will visit again soon.

Very basic food not enough variety, was kept waiting for refills ,staff didn't seem to be on top of things will not bother going again

Food is not bad for eat out if you get what you ordered, or sometimes you are missing items. The food inside better and of course you will get what you ordered.

This is the best chinese I know of.we eat in regular but also order takeaway.salt n pepper squid is my favorite.staff always friendy.would highly recommend

We called in mid week and were shown to the dining area. It had good decor and friendly waiting on staff.

I have lived nearby for a while now, and was always put off by the exterior of the restaurant, neon lights informing us that it had a buffet looked a little tacky, however once in I was transported to a lovely setting with a pleasant ambiance.

We chose this restaurant at random one night and were very pleased with the results. It was a Tuesday night and a bit quiet but the meal was really nice. We started with duck and pancakes, lovely, and then foo yung and special chowmein. We didn't have room for anything more and the prices were very reasonable.

The food is good and a nice selection. The noodles are delicious ! but what makes this restaurant are the lovely staff. Well worth a visit

We have eaten here many times and the place never fails to disappoint the food is always extremely fresh and well presented, If I had one complaint it would be about the cost of the Sunday buffet, it is a little too high compared with other Cantonese restaurants where you get more choice for the same cost.

Nice atmosphere. Attentive staff. A vast menu. The food was delicious. A reasonable drinks selection. Reasonable price. Will definitely come again.

We have always had nice meals at this friendly restaurant and particularly the chicken foo yung is nice as well as the pork with capital sauce.

We were staying at a Hotel in Bramley and decided to try and find a local Chinese Restaurant. That was how we found the Jade Garden.

I've been enjoying the food at this Chinese for the last 30 years and never had a bad meal or experience.
