Harbour City in Leeds

Ordered the prawn chow mein, egg fried rice and sweet and sour sauce for under £12. Big portions, still loads left over in the tubs. Complimentary prawn crackers on top and the service is always great here, very friendly and well mannered staff. Highly recommend 👍🏼

We drive over from Eccup to use this takeaway. Good sized portions (not those small boxes), good value and great tasting food too. We can easily see why it's been there for years.

Really enjoyed our takeaway. Plentiful portions especially the shredded duck. Very fresh and not at all dry and excellent value for money. Cash only.

the worst Chinese meal that I have ever had chips were greasy ,rice had too much salt in it ,the chicken in my blackbean tasted fishy and the vegetable spring rolls had a strange taste will not recommend

Great service and mostly good dishes, with tasty, reasonable quality meat in the chicken kung bo and beef with green pepper dishes. But the deep fried prawns were terrible (no golden fluffy batter, just a coating of white flaky flour), some vegetables were raw, also the sweet and sour sauce was inedible, just tomato ketchup with a lot of vinegar and very very sour. We rescued it with a lot of sugar and fruit juice .

I haven't had a Chinese takeaway for ages but decided to call into harbour city to get one. What a surprise, it was amazing. The quality of food, portion sizes and service were 10/10. FABULOUS.

I am not kidding. This is the very best Chinese takeaway I've ever tasted and belive me I've eaten a few .everything about it the staff ,cleansing, and the food is just fabulous 👌 👏 give it ago definitely recommend.

I have been getting takeaways from here for at least 25+ and have never had a bad meal. I don't live local now but always come here.

This is the second time I have even been here, and the food is delicious! I can't remember everything we bought, but everything came to £40, which is an amazing price for all the food we ordered. At other takeaways, I would usually pay £50 or £60! So this was definitely a surprise. They only take cash, and the same applies when you do delivery ( they do charge £1 something if you live over 3 miles away.. I think). The fizzy drinks are only £1 and the lovely woman serving us gave us two free cans, which was lovely. The food was fresh and crispy, and the batter was not doughy. This is my new go-to place for a Chinese takeaway!

This has been my favourite Chinese takeaway for decades. Unlike some of the reviewers, I have only had the very best of customer service from all of the staff. The food is delicious (which is why I keep coming back) and the portions are generous. I never use food delivery services, so I can’t comment on that. One thing to remember is, they don’t accept card payments.

Best Chinese food ever! Been going here for years. I don't live in Leeds no more but if they would deliver to Derbyshire I'd still order and pay the delivery fee lol. Definitely highly recommended.

My normal place for Chinese for my partner. She loves the chicken chow main with crispy noodles. Wide range of dishes available for every one. A must go shop if you are in the area.

What a terrible experience, I've been trying to order food for over 2 hours and the phone is constantly engaged. Have a call waiting que or something, what a waste of time!

What a lovely lady that works here. She was so sweet, very patient with my pregnant self who had her heart set on Singapore Fried Rice, which they didn't have, however she gave an excellent recommendation to hit that spot I was looking for. She brought our food out to the car, with everything we would need to eat in the car :). The food was really lovely too! 5 stars!

Nice food generous portion and very nice and adaptable to vegetarians. Fast delivery and 5 stars for everything. They can maintain such good and cheap standard is probably because they are not on any online platform. Make a ring and ask for the menu!

Best Chinese Takeaway In Leeds!

I frequently get my Chinese takeaway from here. The food is excellent the staff are very friendly and they cater for my fussyness without any complaints or problems. Also the portions are a good size.

Fantastic Chinese, used them since i lived in Leeds in 2002 and even now and i live 15miles away in Knaresborough. But work next to Airport, so on a fri little de-tour to Chinese and 25min home. Still Warm enough to eat when home! ❤❤❤

Big portions, tasty, has a 5 star food hygiene rating, varied menu and friendly staff. They deliver for £1.20 in a three mile radius (free if you spend more) and appear not to need any of the fast food online schizzle (just eat etc) so you'll have to actually call them or call in. Have just become my favourite chinese take away.

Good food, freshly cooked. Most importantly the portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. They get a 5 star rating for food hygiene which is unusually good. Really impressed, better than other local takeaways.

Food came fast but veryyyyyy dry called back up within minutes to be spoken to like a 5yr old and told I could receive half my money back.then to get a phone call back to from them to say they want all the food back but only giving me half my money back :-{ after 13 years of using theses am done with them.

Standard Chinese takeaway. It's fine

I've tried this restaurant for takeaways meals a few times but find its well overrated. Ordered one last night and it was a disaster. Over cooked spare ribs, onion rings with hardly any onion but with a mass of overdone batter, mediocre microwave springs rolls, a special curry that wasn't that special etc. Oh and took 1 and a quarter hours to deliver. Can't see me going there again. Sorry

Usually 5*... but this time was awful?? Seems like it's yesterdays left overs fried up for next day.... Came quickly considering it took me ages to get through on the phone. Wont be ordering from here again for quite some time. Spent a fortune for poor quality food

I have been coming here for years and i continue to do so even though i have moved way out of the area. I order then collect it's that good. No other chinese compares to this and believe me I've tried. The price, the flavours the best, and the staff ever so nice and friendly. Would never go any where else. Not happy. Admittedly it was very late when I went in, but it seems they rushed something. How is it even POSSIBLE to make a sweet n sour dish that is devoid of taste?? The egg fried rice tasted burnt also ... at least it had taste I guess ... should be thankful for that. Nice people though - polite and friendly

Waited over an hour and half for a delivery, soggy Dim Sum, by far the worst I have ever had, over cooked greasy noddles, do yourselves a favour, save your money and try somewhere else

Ordered food from this place for them to not show up and not answer the phone. Have ordered numerous times and food was always good but this is ridiculous. Unfortunately wont be ordering again.

Have been going here for 15 years +. My favourite dish of all time comes from here and that's the chicken satay, it's just incredible. They give giant portions at great prices, all round top family business. The staff are awesome and always so nice.

I have been going to harbour city since my mum used to give me it from 4 years old! It is the best Chinese I've ever had and will refuse to eat anywhere else, the quality is amazing the prices are good and the taste is superb! I love it so much in fact I'm about to order from them again now so I've got to go😇 recommend the chow main noodles aren't thick and soggy like all other places they are thin and beautiful and the meat is good quality!😍

Not a restaurant but a takeaway, in fact, a delivery service. We have had many meals from Harbour City before and almost always been extremely satisfied with the food. The quality is fantastic and if you go into the shop the service is very friendly. We once had some food that was a little salty and I guess every place has the odd off day but that was once in over ten years of using this establishment and I will always recommend it.

Food was bland and expensive. The salt and pepper chicken was reheated and soggy, the main was bland and the egg fried rice had no egg & tasted & looked like risotto.

For quality and portions and price this must be the best take away in Leeds. It has a fantastic menu and very keen prices with quality service and friendly ness.
