Outstanding waiter service at every Chinese restaurant in London Elaine was incredibly polite and nice, inviting and friendly with a cheerful demeanour. Vicky and her colleagues are amiable, accommodating, and they never make us wait a long time to receive our food. The best recipes are recommended; the chicken soup is especially delicious, and the set meals are made with excellent ingredients.

We went for the set lunch menu for £12 that includes a main course and a soft drink. Food was delicious and portions generous. Ambience was pleasant and one didn't feel rushed. Thoroughly recommend it.

Party of 4, with 2 of us ordering a half peking duck to share plus another dish. The duck arrived within 15 minutes, with chewy skin and the meat very bland - clearly not fresh. The other 2 people had also ordered 2 dishes and watched us eat for 20 minutes before asking about the status of their meal. The server thought we were all sharing (a half duck?) so she hadn’t put the order in. She assured us it would be done promptly. Half an hour passed before she came over to advise that the chef was so busy with the hotpot orders that he wouldn’t be able to cook our food for awhile. Really? No time was given as to how much longer it would be and while the server was embarrassed and apologetic, there were still 2 hungry people at the table at almost 8pm. She removed the service charge (as clearly there was no service provided) and we were stuck looking for another restaurant at 8pm. It was our last night in London and we had saved a Chinese restaurant for our last meal. With decent reviews and walkable from our hotel, we thought this would be a perfect option. If only they could have provided us with a real meal, this review might have been different.

@dragoninn_club is the real deal when it comes to unwinding with friends and enjoying some kickass Sichuan food. While it is well-known for its hot pot, it also offers a diverse a la carte menu that showcases the rich and complex flavors of the region's cuisine. The Signature French corn-fed chicken slices in Sichuan oil were the perfect start to our food journey, followed by the Cold chicken feet with pickled chili, which had us feeling adventurous and daring. But the Deep fried squid with salt & pepper? Oh my goodness, it was out of this world! We couldn't get enough of the Iberian pork belly double cooked style and the Stir fried morning glory either - they were simply too good to leave any behind! 😋😋😋 The service was top-notch, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. If you're in the mood for some Sichuan-licious fun with your favorite people, Dragon Inn Club is the place to be. Chose this place on a whim and we were stunned by how good it was. Stunning layout and a bit of a doctor who’s tardis in terms of the architecture. The charismatic yet respectful team really looked after us and the owner/ manager called Alex was a perfect host. We were a table of 6 people and we asked them to order us a selection of food. Wow! It was stunning! Balanced flavours, a distinct lack of rice and noodles really showed confidence in their menu and we all raved about it on the night and for a few days afterwards too.. can’t wait to go back and deffo recommend to others looking for a tasty, delicious experience in a location that is sometimes hard to find a well priced and quality dining experience.. Staff were very helpful and attentive. They really could do with having music on but the experience of the hot pot was fantastic and they were so helpful for a first timer.

Where do I start? It was clear from the outset that the staff were inexperienced and nervous. However, I can forgive that and they did try their best. The menu suggested a top class establishment but the food simply didn't live up to that. Dim Sum for starter and I've had a few, but these were very poor, lacking any balance in their flavour. The main course was the real disaster. I ordered crispy chilli beef. What I was served resembled a bowl of Niknaks garnished with spring onion. I actually think they forgot to put the beef in before they deep fried them.. Simply disgusting and the rice was no better, well undercooked. The staff did take the main course off the bill, but you simply can not have such a menu in place, but produce such awful food. This area is full of great places to eat. Unfortunately, this isn't one of them.

Appalling service. They decided to bring out the starters and main course together. I asked why, they said because there staff live far away and needed to go home. They did take the main course back and said they would re-cook. That never happened it just stood under a hot plate in my opinion. No sooner did they take our starters away that the main course came out and before I could take a mouthful they asked for payment as they wanted to shut down the tills. The first time I have paid before finishing a meal. Then the manager apologised and said they should have explained that we had to be quick. We arrived at 10pm and stated they did not close to 12. One of the young waiters was very angry with us and the manager told him to go away. He then said next time you come in I will be give you a free drink. I said I doubt I will be back and if he really wanted to apologise he could have given us the two beers free. Food was not that great for the price. I would avoid purely on customer service. I refused to pay the 12.5% service charge they did not argue with that.

It was such a shocking experience we were left speechless. Like the previous reviewer we were also led to this restaurant after seeing an advert on red scarf, We waited more than 30min for the hotpot base, and a further hour and half for the dipping source and other hotpot ingredients, but alas they never turned up. At this point we decided to cut our losses and go to another restaurant nearby. There were no apology offered by the front of house staff, they just seemed to think this is normal. Come to this restaurant if you want to starve and wait hours of your precious time. 大家一定要避雷，这家太不靠谱了，白白浪费了我们宝贵的两小时，只上了一个锅底，连蘸料都没上来，更不要说配菜了。还有脸叫我们付锅底和drinks的钱。

My friend and I were led to here by Red Scarf ads. Sat down and ordered a hot pot base right away. However, after 45 minutes waiting we were told still 20 - 30 minutes wait for the base… Never again….

Arrived on time for our dinner booking and was seated straight away and ordered relatively quickly which was positive. After then, things started going down hill. The food was incredibly slow to arrive, we were a table of two and it took 90 minutes to get our food. Service was non-existent, if your kitchen is backed up you can at least be attentive with drinks for customers to keep them happy, instead we spent long periods with both empty plates and glasses. On a rare occasion when a waiter came over he apologised for the wait saying the kitchen had forgotten our food. The food did then arrive shortly after but was lukewarm, as if it had been sitting around. My partner went to the men’s toilet and reported that one sink wasn’t working and another was clogged and close to overflowing. There was a member of kitchen staff relieving himself, which is not a problem normally but when the sink is blocked it doesn’t exactly fill you with confidence that hands will be washed properly afterwards. The food was below average and we ended up leaving most of it due to the taste and after waiting so long for it we were too fed up to eat. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t visit again.

Went for lunch. I suspect most other diners go for the lunch special, which at £9 for a very large plate of food seemed very good value. We went a la carte. The choice is immense.
